Looks like Nintendo released two instant classics for Switch. Their long hangover with Wii U finally payed off handsomely

Seems like the Suicide Squad/ Secret Avengers of the Pokémon universe

Super Mario Galaxy was the pinnacle of the 3D Mario games, but I still hold them in high regard like Odyssey (although I like Galaxy 2 more)

Obviously will be beat the Wii U in terms of sales, maybe even go above the Gamecube and N64. Nintendo is in a winning run

I've beaten the game yesterday and I'm preping for post game, but I gotta say, this game deserves every bit of praise and recognition

@BlackenedHalo I think you forgot the memo on what this game is trying to bring. Super Mario Odyssey is a 3D platformer that encourages you to explore the world around you. And when is the game ever a grind? It rewards you to no end, from new transformations and purple coins, the amount of fun you can have is nearly endless

Man, Ubisoft really got the U.K. in their grasp huh (along with microtransactions and all)? Super Mario Odyssey will be a top seller nonetheless

At least he is honest on the situation. But on the positive side, I have been seeing Switch's more frequently in Wal Mart and Target

Looks like Breath of the Wild has some competition for game of the year

Sonic Forces doesn't have the care and heart that Colors and Generations had for me. Classic Sonic and the customizable character really have iffy control issues

After the mess that was shutting down Visceral, I don't think I'd want EA (and Activision) to bring games on to Switch anymore

@Meowpheel I remember that Amiibo Festival had two amiibos included on purchase. Thank goodness they've been bought separately so you don't have a horrid party game included

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I don't think people really cared too much on that mode on what already is a milding Mario Party installment

@thesilverbrick Activision did state Skylanders is taking a one year hiatus, just like Assassins Creed. So it's not entirely gone

It's been a long time coming, since Disney Infinity died and Skylanders have to take a year off. Amiibo might be next, but Nintendo is in such a hot streak, it's a wild card. Great time to get Lego Dimensions on PS4 though, since it's now so cheap to get

@aaronsullivan I mean, it has it conveniences, but with audio sync issues that would arise along with battery life, I'd much prefer wired headphones by a mile

Nintendo is back from the darkness and back from the ashes and I'm happy they are rising to the top again after a harsh fall

The bonus 2 GB is the right joy con's camera functionality

Nintendo obviously has a very loyal fanbase (for both better or for worse) and their very kid friendly image also helps out with matters

Looks like the retail version is the way to go. At least this is a really competent sports game on Switch, but I still need my fun arcade sports fill soon (NBA Playgrounds didn't do too much)

@SLIGEACH_EIRE This is in part with what Ubisoft did for Nintendo in the past, despite some duds and the Just Dance pantheon. Even with the Wii U days, they indeed tried, even though people see it as lazy

Square must be desperate and are just not jumping on the Switch hype, like Ubisoft and Bethesda. That's quite a shame

@WiltonRoots It seem like a roller coaster of emotions all of the time. Wish it was rideable

@MsJubilee There is no PC version from what I believe, NRS probably didn't want to do one since Warner Bros has a very bad reputation of shoddy PC ports

@BLP_Software Mobile is its own thing. It may look like it's fine but it still looks like trash from a visual and gameplay standpoint. For a console however, it's a different story. Switch has weaker hardware, some graphical settings have to be lowered to run and since the Switch is actually popular and not a failure, there is obviously a hint of there maybe getting a profit out of a port

@ieatdragonz You're really missing out on a great fighting game this year. Pretty beefy on content and the roster seems to be an improvement over its predecessor

Since Doom is on Switch, there is no doubt in my mind that an Injustice 2 port for Switch (that includes all that sweet DLC too) is possible. Make dreams come true Ed Boon

I'm still quite shocked Doom is running on Switch, and that in of itself is a huge achievement

It looks better, but there is still plenty of dated textures on some shots of the game and, not to mention, this isn't using the new engine the upcoming Dynasty Warriors game will offer

Still rather offputing all thanks to the roster of characters leaning way too much to Awakening and Fates

I bet you unlock Boris Carloff mode once you beat the game

Crash for PS4 was 30 FPS and it actually felt fine. However, it's a disappointment that Sega couldn't do much smoother
