I can only hope that the Switch gets more creative and fun Nintendo games like last year. This is seriously becoming one of my favorite Nintendo consoles next to the Wii and SNES
Looks like a step up from EA's other indie game, Unravel (while alright, was too short and really easy). Might have to pick this one up all for presentation
Capcom, we know, Monster Hunter World shipped around 5 million units and the series is at its peak and I'm happy for it But Just Translate XX And Port That Over Please
@Ventilator NES Mario Bros is awful, but the other versions, more specifically the version on GBA, are mostly alright. However, they did state the Atari 2600 version being the absolute worst of the ports though.
Anyway, I have a feeling Mario Tennis Ultra Smash and The Lost Levels will make the list
Loading is alot better, coloring is a bit more refined compared to Wii U, I don't see why people are not up for the tiny upgrades the port has. Yeah having it on 720 resolution is still a bummer but it seems like a bare minimum standard for games nowadays
@-DG The major problem with The Secret Life of Pets is that it had an interesting premise that is wasted to make the movie basically Toy Story but not as fun
Also, you CAN make a Mario story that can have a fun story with fun humor or just even make him cinematic, like Mario Sunshine, the first Mario Galaxy and Mario Odyssey even. Just hoping the writing is up the line of, specifically, Super Paper Mario or Kid Icarus Uprising. Also also, have to agree with the Sony Animation statement. They did the Emoji Movie, but then you look at their filmography, they are a roulette wheel, either great films, filled with talent and then movies like The Smurfs or The Star or Open Season. Still have to wait and see if Illumination doesn't make Mario look bad
@JKRiki Calling Despicable Me incredible would just be giving the movie too much praise. It is more of a good enough, has enough heart and entertaining outing, despite the very noticeable cheap animation and instances of potty humor (considering the first mostly dealt with fun Loony Tunes-esque gags)
@MailOrderNinja And that is kind of the issue. Having fart jokes and slapstick with nothing else to appease the lowest common denominator is a problem, especially with some animated movies. There are both animated movies and movies aimed at kids that don't have to be pandering, that don't have to rely too much on lowbrow humor and is actually done with care and attention, hence the latter movies being more so great for both kids and adults are more well remembered.
@SakuraHaruka But with Castlevania, it at least had reliable people, like Warren Ellis (who is a fantastic comic book writer). But with this, it is the coin toss in video game adaptation history
I'm still under the impression that Illumination is still the worst choice Nintendo ever worked with. Could they just bring it to Dreamworks, since Universal owns them now? They did Captain Underpants and How to Train Your Dragon so well, but missed opportunities.
20 bones for a full year of online play in comparison to selling an arm to have PSPlus up for a full year? Count me in (if that is actually still true)
@WomboCombo >the hunderth reminder that Street Fighter V won't come to Nintendo Switch is because Sony actually funded the game along with Capcom to make it a PS4 console exclusive
The Hotel Transylvania movies are usually entertaining, aside from the second one being not as funny as the first one. Just wondering if Genndy will do something else after doing this one, hopefully
Hey, Microsoft trying to EA the heck out of EA is a whole load of irony, but it would be tricky since Valve is also involved and is private company. But still, quite a humorous outcome
Monster Hunter World is a pretty phenomenal game. Its actually the first Monster Hunter I can get into and I am having a blast. Hope that Nintendo Switch gets some Monster Hunter love, but for now, just waiting for Ryu and Sakura to join the hunt
Or it can just be in medium-high settings, since the game doesn't heavily rely on textures too much and hey the original GGXrd ran on PS3, so a port is an inevitable possibility

Re: Hyper Light Drifter Is Coming To The Switch
Finally, the best indie game of 2016 is heading to the best hybrid console. I can't wait to play through this gem again
Re: Video: Check Out Blastoise In Action In The Latest Pokkén Tournament DX DLC
@Oat Would you go for that or the $30-$35 season pass most fighting games come with now?
Re: Video: Check Out Blastoise In Action In The Latest Pokkén Tournament DX DLC
Those joints on his model gagged me a bit
Re: Lego The Incredibles Game Is Under Construction For Switch
@RainbowGazelle Lego games tend to be functional and not buggy, at least the ones that I own. Maybe it's just bad luck or a rare instance
Re: Lego The Incredibles Game Is Under Construction For Switch
This seems just as uncanny as the Lego Pirates of the Caribbean game years ago
Re: Sonic Mania Plus Arrives On Switch This Summer
@Yasaal Ehh, Sonic Forces' soundtrack is pretty weak. I actually prefer 06's soundtrack over it
Re: Sonic Mania Plus Arrives On Switch This Summer
I'm willing to double dip on PS4 and Switch, just to support good Sonic games. Been waiting to get a physical copy of Sonic Mania

Re: Sounds Like Blizzard Really Is Porting Diablo 3 To Switch (Even Though It Said It Wasn't)
I'd take Overwatch or even Starcraft Remastered over Diablo

Outlast 2 isn't a good game so... I'll just pass for now
Re: Rumour: Is This Really Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Running On Switch?

Re: Super Mario Odyssey Was Always Planned To Be Released On Switch
@vitalemrecords 3D World and 3D Land don't really count as 3D Mario games. They're more of a 2D Mario experience in a 3D plane
Re: Super Mario Odyssey Was Always Planned To Be Released On Switch
Better destined there on Switch than to be forgotten on Wii U
Re: Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Will Race To Theaters in 2019
Can't wait for this to crash and burn since it's gonna go fast in production

Re: Soapbox: Call Of Duty Can Work On Switch, Activision Just Needs To Pull The Trigger
