First glance at the title, I thought it was a new mobile game "Pikachu Run" or something. Hopefully they are paid well for their effort here.

While Shinobi Refle looks like a decent game for 1000 yen (~10USD), what made me disappointed was the announcement for the new pinball game and not the hack-n-slash series coming to the Switch. Oh well, here's hoping one would come, sooner or later.

I like how the "Mystery Zone" seems to be a stage in Octo Valley. I guess it's a step closer towards playable Octolings, probably.

I'll miss the 'Stay Fresh' part that Callie and Marie used to do at the end of the news segment. The new one is a tad bit long (something about cooked and off the hook?), but I'd probably get used to it.

It looks pretty nice, but that's about it. Hopefully, this is the last iteration of the 3ds, period.

Not sure how, but I now wish for a Sheikah Slate skin for the Switch. It would double as a cosplay prop and well, a skin.

Wasn't the first test fire like in a month before the eventual release of the first Splatoon? Feels a bit too early, but what do I know? I guess they really need to prep their servers for the oncoming Splatoon hype train.

Hmm, it's a bit interesting to note that the player names on that stage map are all Japanese names, but in Romaji instead of Hira/Katakana. Hoping it is, so that if you could voice chat with Japanese players, you'll at least be able to call them out instead of not being able to read their names. It's a start, I guess.

Still waiting for that Detective Pikachu game...

I just hope it doesn't come to that, but we'll see later this year.

@rjejr According to Nintendo's official website, the app will be free to use, even for the non-subscribers after the trial period, so there's that.

@Captain_Gonru Maybe the app could connect with the Switch locally, possibly through Bluetooth? Just baseless speculation.

I could see this app being online-only, since it could block any online communication, like voice chat and stuff. That, and also Bowser could essentially trigger sleep mode without being near the Switch, at least judging from the video.

Side note here, I like how Bowser could use his tiny smartphone with his claws, the touchscreen over there must be more advanced than the ones we have.

The english titles for BoxBoy seem to be following a pattern (maybe).First was BOXBOY, second was BOXBOXBOY, what would the third one be? BOXBOXBOYBYE? BYEBOXBOXBOY? BOXBOXBOYBYEBYE? The possibilities are endless

I think the first female character was female Link, the second one Zelda. First one was wearing gloves, the second, hand stockings (?)

If all goes well, there might be a chance for this game to come to the West. It fills me with hope since those control instructions were in English at the Tokyo Game Show, plus the fact that the characters speak gibberish (albeit more exaggerated than in a normal MonHun game) so that localising it would take less time compared to doing those voice-overs in other languages.

I'm just hoping this wouldn't turn out like Federation Force, in a sense that the hardcore fans won't touch this game since it's not the MonHun they know.

I feel like Type:Null is a man-made chimera, named by someone with bad naming sense (like the ghosts in LM:DM). Maybe it gets a special item that turns it into an actual Null/??? type, would be pretty cool.

I have this gut feeling that the suspicious Team Aether has something to do with the Ultra Beasts , maybe a failed experiment combining humans with Pokemon. But hey, it's just a crazy theory...

I really like how the Alolan Raichu has blue eyes, just like the surfing Pikachu from the first season of the anime.

Whether these are real or not, I feel like their designs seem pretty neat. They sort of look like the Adventurer, Berserker and Songstress from FE:Fates, but maybe that's just me...
Litten's final form kinda reminds me of Armour King from Tekken, which is pretty cool I guess. Hoping it's Fire/Dark with how it uses dirty moves in its illustrations (slamming that table at Pikachu, wow)

@IceClimbers Oh, I didn't realise you needed a hold item to use those Z-moves. Thanks for clearing it up.

@ShadJV I doubt that Game Freak would just scrap 40+ Megas like that, which begs the question. If Megas are returning, could they use Z-moves (Mega Mewtwo + Z-moves)? That would be too overkill...
@the101 Yeah, I do know about Mega Audino and Diancie, but they were introduced in ORAS, a year after XY. I too wish that the 'newer' gen would get some lovin'...

All these reveals just makes me wish Ukelele Pichu is a thing in the main games...

Anyway, I hope these Alola forms aren't limited to just the first 4 gens, like how Mega's were in XY. There's plenty of Pokemon from Unova to choose as well, like a hot fudge sundae Vanilluxe.
