Now why did I thought when I saw "Meganium" that I for a second I thought this was saying Mega-Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feragliatr announced. Almost jumped from my seat XD

So close to an Xbox One release. However not interested in the whole pixel retro graphics games so I'm not interested in it but still good the Wii U goal was reached.

I’m sorry, Nintendo, I just don’t buy that lame excuse. Call me stubborn or childish, but I won’t even consider getting a New 3DS unless Nintendo decided to sell the regular one. I just don’t like the XL, especially its size.

Pretty awesome. It looks something like MUGEN, only thing this looks better in terms of 2D character art. I’ll honestly admit when I heard the 3DS got a few PS2 remakes, I started thinking about how awesome it would be if a 3D game like Dragonballz Budokai Tenkaichi was created for the 3DS. Most likely won’t happen, but I keep wondering how a game like that would perform on the 3DS hardware or even the New 3DS hardware. I've heard the 3DS has better graphically performance so I assume it wouldn't be too difficult.

That was pretty awesome . I could see myself doing the same thing. As long as there's information to trace back to the owner, I would try my best to return it.
However I have my doubts if persons in my country would even consider doing the same. I lost my Nintendo DS and pretty sure someone stole it knowing full well it belonged to someone else. It's one of the reasons I was so overprotective with my 3DS.

@Quorthon That's pretty interesting. I knew America or another country was involved in some way as I read something about it some time ago. I believe it said something about after America had possession of Japan in some way, they created a few laws I think and after WWII the law they made never changed as it wasn't a priority. Remembering it was pretty vague so I wasn't sure if I was even partially right.

@DiscoGentleman Can you point out some examples, please?

Japan is more open about pretty much anything, while America needs to put the slightest controversial topic on the 7 o'clock news.

Remember when we used to get items to find and battle legendary pokemon instead of getting them right away with ease? Good times. Really hope Smash Bros doesn't go that route. Unlocking characters is actually really fun (as long as they don't require hours upon hours to unlock).

I was thinking about getting a copy of Splinter Cell Blacklist online after checking it out, but I've heard it has some performance issues so I think I may opt for getting it on PC instead. However I'm definitely gonna get Child of Light.

A lot of persons listed some good wii titles that I should look into buying some time in the future considering I missed the Wii generation, and I'm looking to play some worthwhile games. Hopefully most of those are available at great prices second hand.

Please, Nintendo, let this be a worldwide loyalty program unlike Club Nintendo. I’ve been looking forward to news on this ever since I heard they were bringing out a new loyalty program to replace Club Nintendo.

Wish I could have picked both Xenoblade Chronicles X and The Legend of Zelda U. I would have to say I'm most excited for Xenoblade Chronicles X, it's looks VERY impressive and the reception the series has got is phenomenal. I haven't played much Legend of Zelda game really, and the ones I've played never left any lasting impression on me.

Just watched the trailer on youtube and in the comments the guy Robert Bowling said it "regrettably" won't be coming to Wii U.

The Direct was okay. The only thing that had me really excited was the unexpected reveal of Ironfall Invasion, and that's because I've been excited about it ever since the Devs showed their tech demo for the game. Others were interesting while the rest was alright.

Since there's no standard for NA I'm sticking with my regular non-new 3DS. Not a fan of the XL and I don't need a new 3DS in a hurry anyway.

Great picks. Now I'm even excited about the direct tomorrow. I would love to hear about a new loyalty program, especially since I've begun buying more games on my nintendo systems.

New update? Good. Does it fixes most of it's other problems? Not really. I still enjoy using the internet browser instead of the app.

Adding to my previous comment, I wouldn't base the game fully on Smash Bros Melee. This looks like it would succeed better if it was more of an arcade fighter like Tekken or Marvel vs Capcom. Still want some Smash in there? Then use some of the platforming ideas of Smash Bros to create a more unique fighter. Some of the attacks I see in the trailer look pretty neat too (like that freeze time attack). Combat looks good but I believe the game would look better if it didn't try to copy Smash Bros a bit too much.

Personally if I was a developer for this game I wouldn't want to base my game on Super Smash Bros. Super Smash Bros has set such a high standard for games that dare enter its territory that reviewers and players will compare how good the game is to Smash Bros and rate according to that. God knows Playstation All Stars was shown no mercy, judging from what I've heard about it.

I chose Pokemon Black and White 2. Out of all the pokemon games I played, it had the best story, characters, region, and even the pokemon were pretty cool (despite what others may say).
Pokemon Emerald has always been my childhood favourite though, and while Pokemon X and Y was cool and all with it's graphics and features, I don't think it tried to be as awesome as Pokemon Black and White 2.

I'm going to have to side with Super Smash Bros Wii U. I loved the 3DS version but the Wii U version added more onto that make me love it even more. As for rest, the original SSB was pretty cool in it's time and even though I only played a little of Brawl, I enjoyed it but not as much as the latest entries. Never played Melee, but never liked how "competitive" it was with it's techniques which hugely divided the competitive and casual players.

@vitalemrecords No problem. Glad to hear the game is great, I'm going to take advantage of the sale as well.

Double Dash for me. It isn't really fair though as I haven't spent a good amount of time with the rest of Mario Karts, but Double Dash stuck with me as I played quite a lot of it.

@vitalemrecords I know how it works. I said I would have bought Smash Bros for $59 from the eShop to get $5 credit worth of points, but instead I bought the physical copy of Smash so I won't get to redeem those points since it has to be digital.

I got a Wii U just as the promotion was about to end I was planning on getting a digital copy of Smash Bros to at least get one $5 credit but I gave into a physical copy. Would be nice to have grab Darksiders II for a mere $3 on the eshop.

I'm more surprised that Nintendolife even bothered reviewing this.

He's right. The Wii U not only has more games than the PS4 and Xbox One, but it has much better games and pretty awesome exclusives. Hopefully I'll be getting my Wii U soon.

@Dashtag Thanks for your wisdom, Good sir. I knew how the replays worked but I couldn't very much explain it properly myself.

I could be greedy and say "Yes, I want a price cut" since I'm getting a Wii U around this Christmas but I don't think it's needed at all, especially when Nintendo is selling the Wii U at a loss already (at least that is what I know).
As for how will the Wii U sell, I can't say for certain. The Wii U hasn't exactly been popular ever since it launched, but the great games that are being released for Wii U combined with it's existing library makes the Wii U the absolute best when it comes to games. And Yes, I don't care how many ignorant people say "Wii U has no games". It's a lie and they know it. So yes the Wii U has an advantage but the popularity of the PS4 and Xbox One still has some gain over the Wii U so I personally say it could be an unpredictable outcome.

I wasn't even expecting it to. It was never an issue with the old games, so it shouldn't be an issue with X and Y either.

@Bustacap Canada and Italy has their release dates a day after everyone else for Pokemon ORAS because they broke the release date for Pokemon XY

Apparently Germany has to learn the hard way like Canada and Italy (No offense, guys!)
