@Jeronan I've looked and can't get it (yet) anywhere in Ireland. But I can still get it sent to a UK address to then forward it here so I still don't have to pay Scalper-Fees.

@AgentGuapo True, but can you reclaim them of they are no longer available from the Switch eshop?

Secured my physical copy. If I were to go digital with this and something happened to the Switch, I couldn't reclaim it. At least with physical I'd have a better chance of keeping hold of it.

Am I wrong in saying it's only the physical game that has the limited release? I didn't hear them say the digital version of the game would end come 31st March. I thought the digital copy would be available into the next fiscal year.

Here's my ignorance showing... I did not know Paper Mario started on the N64... I genuinely thought the 1000 Year Door was the first... then again I skipped the N64 so I dont have a vast knowledge of its library.

Looks like fun... though I was hoping for a 'food fight' mode...

I'm going to show my nerdiness now... but how can they make a 'spiritual successor' to a game based on the Water Margin book? Either this game will also be based on it, or it won't. What this project sounds like is the team really want to make the long-rumored Suikoden 6, but they just don't have copyright permission to do so... so they've settled on their own game instead.

@Tasuki Whereas FF7 will win it for me, I absolutely love the first Suikoden and it has a special place in my heart. In fact, I prefer the Suikoden franchise as a whole over FF.

I also only got 3 but I live in the UK so I think it was kind of unfair to anyone outside of the US. Funny enough, I knew the Japan release dates but it got to the point where I was just answering blindly for all the good it did me.

@Cosats absolutely nothing, when used in the right context, such as school projects or business meetings, etc. For any kind of game however, it's completely not the sort of program to design your box art.

@Yanina I agree. If it was a fashion magazine or ad then I'd say they got it spot on. But the problem is, it's not. It's a AAA game, for some reason, but AAA nonetheless. As a result, they failed to hit the mark.

I am NOT a fan of annual sports games. I can quite happily troll the internet for hours over those games and fans who feel the need to pay full price for each iteration...

But that cover art is more of a troll than I can ever do. I hope they put more effort into the game than they did with the box-art.

I think without the bitter, the sweet wouldn't be so sweet. I love it when I catch a Coelacanth or a Napoleonfish instead and it's so satisfying to see them instead. If it wasn't for the sea bass, they wouldn't be as beautiful to see coming out of the sea.

@Blooper987 I was going to mention M&M Racing but you got there first. Pepsiman was already there though at the beginning as an 'honourable mention'.

I actually owned 4 of these games, Zool, McDonaldland, Cool Spot and Pushover. Didn't know about Cool Spot being the 7Up spot though, probably because I was in the UK.

I think most sport games are exempt because they feature the real life sponsors of such sports, whether it's NBA, Fifa or whatever.

McDonaldland though was such a shameless self-promotion I'm embarrassed to admit I even had it. To be fair, I didn't buy the games when I was a kid so... I'm free from blame there.

These are probably the same Amazon placeholders that were announced previously. Not that I'm complaining... just further evidence that an announcement is imminent.

What about the fact that the supermarket they enter is called 'Winton's' which is an homage to Dale Winton, the host of 90s Supermarket Sweep game show here in the UK? That's actually a nice touch.

Wasn't there an issue where people would drop the promised 'fee' for visiting the island and then get booted by the host? So then surely can't one just publish a 'swimmers will be evicted' sign and therefore anyone who circumnavigates the fenced area would get 'da boot'?

I dont usually comment on these, but as I voted I kinda just realised that this was the first time I've voted for the NA artwork... obviously others do vote for it but it's just never appealed to me. Wonder why...

As a complaints manager who deals with this kind of thing plenty of times, the complaint needs to go to Kickstarter, not Platinum. Platinum Games are not responsible. However, what Kickstarter will respond is a different matter. If anyone wishes to write a complaint to Kickstarter regarding these charges I would be happy to help. You can register a complaint, regarding of whether the complaint is justified or not. Of course, I work in the European Union and the law over here is considerably different to that in the US.

A world without tomatoes, strawberries and cabbage? In the west there are so many fruit and vegetables we actually don't get. Ok, we do get them, but to source them is difficult unless you know where to look. I'm talking dragonfruit, jackfruit, langsats, longans, etc. Why not have a farm of exotic fruits and vegetables. I might actually take interest in that kind of farming simulator.

I recently played SOULSLAYER when I was away and had no internet. It's about a young girl who is murdered on the eve of her wedding, but a mysterious entity gives her another chance if she can solve the mystery of her death.
Great Visual Novel game with an ancient Chinese Oriental feel. Maybe a bit short, but multiple endings and interesting clues to find and discover make it great to return to in order to get the true ending. Visuals are beautiful and music and voice acting seems spot on (in my opinion).

@Quix @Nintendofan83 let me say for the record I was joking, being ironic if you will. I think that it is a great game too, if anyone has a Switch and has never played this game, they owe it to themselves to buy and play it. I agree if I sincerely thought people should spend their money a specific way, that would be particularly totalitarian of me.
I'm sure people will read my first comment and reply before reading this one but that's what happens sometimes. I was joking though.

@Scoopz I still cant believe they didn't use Gamecube's Wario Coliseum for MK8... that track seems built for anti-gravity

@KoopaTheQuick true... but I'm basing it on the fact that this technically isn't a new Mario Kart but rather a 'deluxe' port from one system to another. Not even a multi-console release such as BotW but a complete port. As such seeing MK9 on Switch shouldn't be completely unexpected.

Would people please stop buying Mario Kart 8? We are all eagerly awaiting Mario Kart 9 but that may not ever happen because of how well 8 is selling. So stop buying Mario Kart 8.

Oh snap! This is one of my favourite games of all time! Inspired by the original Bards Tale games from the Atari, the original 2002 release was smooth and comical, hilarious fights between the bard and the narrator as well as Cary Elwes being one of my favourite actors! This is almost as good news as a Pikmin 4 announcement (hint hint)!

It's probably been mentioned already but (at least in the UK) you could get Mario Allstars and Super Mario World on one cartridge... so I shouldn't think that doesn't really count. I know it was missing from the Wiirelease but that was just a glitch in The Matrix, I'm sure...

Now all we need is for N64 games to come to NSO... probably get Gameboy Colour games first though...

@Expa0 how many times have you completed it though? Especially compared to 'just about any other' Mario game?
