Re: You Can Now Hide Those Naughty Hentai Games On Switch

Jumping_Dead

There's no proper hentai games on switch. I guess you guys mean those fun-ecchi games with some fanservice or panties.

It's weird having this kind of conversation, seeing as the recent changes in policy made Death end request code Z and Neptunia Rebirth to release only for ps4/ps5 and skip switch in the west.

Re: Switch Physical Release Of Psychological Horror RPG 'Omori' Cancelled

Jumping_Dead

As far as i know, the cancelled physical edition is Spanish, and there seems to be licensing problems and technical problems with the spanish translation. It was released some years ago only on xobx, and it was taken down.
Even if you go to steam, the spanish translation is nowehere to be found.
It seems like a problem OMOCAT has, not the distributor, who im pretty sure would make money releasing it.

Re: Mini Review: Wonder Boy Anniversary Collection - A Great But Gouging, Exploitative Package

"Why are you giving us social commentary on the free market instead of telling us if the product is good? That's not your job" <- He can, he wants, it's a mini-review, and he can give it the score he wants. It's called a review. And yes, it's his job.

I sometimes don't understand videogame readers. You really dont want to know the reviewers opinion? why are you reading a review then? It's how all entertaiment and art criticism works.

Re: Soapbox: Endless Zelda Remakes Are A Poor Substitute For Backwards Compatibility

Jumping_Dead

@F_Destroyer What? What are you talking about? Having your console be backwards compatible with the digital catalogue from the previous console is not backwards compatibility to you? Dude... other manufacturers have been doing it for quite some time.

I bought a couple of ps1 games on my psp... and you know what? i can download them again on my ps4 now for free. If having access to things you already bought in the past on a new console, is not backwards compatibility, i dont what your talking about.

Re: Poll: What's The Best James Bond Game?

Jumping_Dead

In terms of influence... Goldeneye. But i think Nightfire, Agent under fire and Everything or nothing were even better. Nightfire's multiplayer was legendary.

Everything or Nothing is probably the best overall.

Re: Talking Point: Video Game Music Is More Popular Than Ever, So Why Is Nintendo So Behind?

Jumping_Dead

I see people saying "buy the soundtracks then"... the thing is, i do. I import quite a lot of videogame soundtracks from Japan, and i own a decent amount of them.

BUT, here is the thing. Only a few are released. HAL, Monolith and Intelligent Systems are pretty consistent, i think it's due to them managing their own music. Beyond that, you get your marios and zeldas done by external companies, and little more.

Nintendo has always been more interested in using their soundtracks for promotion o "collector's editions", with single cds with a selection of the osts. We get way less than before, when the nintendo Club had cds as rewards.

And even then... it's hard to ignore the idea of just listening to music via streaming. Idk, they dont make things easy.
