@TheRavingTimes Why would Nintendo bring out a successor to the 3DS, when the 3DS family is doing so well right now? The 3DS hasn't even been around for three years! Sorry to tell ya bud, but the 3DS is here to stay for years longer. :B

I hate the fact thar WE are punished by the stupidity of other people. That's what really gets at me. I shouldn't be limited just because some idiot pre-teens out there like sharing puctures of their genetalia to their other ore-punbescent friends.

Here I thought that Sonic would at LEAST be responsible for a slight bump in Wii U sales. Not even the world's mightiest hedghog could do a damned thing.

As much as I've enjoyed the God of War and Twisted Metal games over the years, I have to completelty disagree with his opinion. Disney csn keep their Marvel and their Star Wars; Nintendo needs no one else to stand tall successfully.

Everything looks nice, except for the colored buttons and d-pad. Like someone above said, it makes the console look tacky and cheap. Here's to hoping it's confirmed!

While part of me thinks that production of the Wii should continue, the better part knows the Wii U needs all of the focus it can get.

I also like the orange one, but dislike the contrast of the buttons with the black interior. That looks awful.

Never siezes to amaze me how some big games can be so small. Especially when we talk games such as Super Mario 3D World and Pokemon X & Y.

This sounds... GREAT. I've never played a Rune Factory title (hell, I've heard about them for years [as well as the Harvest Moon titles that I've also never touched]), but this sounds awesome. I have money in hand, I'm definitely considering it now. :B

I got to watch some of "Sonic The Hedgehog" growing up, so even a kid that lived more in the 2000's first decade than in the 90's got to experience it. Good stuff, haha!

I like the pace that Zelda games are released in. Not too soon, not too late.

This game looks pretty damn fun. I'm hoping to pick it up somewhere down the line.

BUT, A Link Between Worlds comes first. So maybe after that. :B

LOVING that "A Link Between Worlds" 3DS! Now all we need is confirmation that these will come to North America as well. Even though I already have my Legend of Zelda 3DS, I'd like for others to get the chance to obtain these here as well.

Well... this is a pretty crappy list. I considered Zelda for my 3DS, but I think I'd rather just buy it somewhere down the line later instead of using my coins for it.

I would have also considered Super Mario Kart, but I don't own a Wii.

And I was excited about the rewards this month. Sigh. So much for my excitement.

Well, I'm pretty sure most of us are aware that no, not "everyone wanted to develop for the Wii" at one point in time, which is why it got so much damned shovelware into it's library. But I realize that like any popular console, the Wii has it's gem games. And that's good. :B

Nintendo doesn't have that third-party favor. As big a fan as I am of theirs, even I can see that. But I am confident that they'll make their fledgling console take a boundy leap this holiday season. They can do it. They proved it with the 3DS, and they'll prove it again with the Wii U.

Go Nintendo. :B

@johndevine That's 'cause Mortal Kombat & Injustice aren't beat-em-ups. They're fighting games. Big difference. And if I know anything about Netherrealm Studio's latest games, it's that they're pretty damn good. I own Mortal Kombat and can more than attest to the fact that it's a damn fine fighting title.

Now, Injustice, on the other hand, I've never played. But it looks high in quality, just like Mortal Kombat. I'm pretty sure Mortal Kombat is more popular than Tekken.

The console looks pretty damn crappy. I wouldn't but it. Looks like it'd break after a couple of uses. Such a shame.

Don't own a Wii U, but I wouldn't purchase a Wii U version if it became available. New games, Nintendo! :B

I'm going all-fire this Generation, it seems. Charmander, Fennekin and this Torchic. So much Fire-Type love! :B

Too expensive, too late. Many of us already have 3rd party solutions or rechargeable batteriee. Had they released this back in the Wii's prime years, I'm sure sales of the product would have been decent. But I doubt this would gain them much profit today.

I think these "news" come as a shock to no one. This holiday season has so much s**t for sale, it'd be dumb of anyone to think the opposite. Good time to be a gamer! :B

The 2DS will be a HUGE success, and the already-existing models will sell well too. No doubts about it! I'm so happy for Nintendo this holiday season, it's going to be great for them.

And for us as well, will all the glorious games set for release within these next three months! :B

This is a damn good update. And it comes from a non-Wii U owner. But maybe I'll be an owner of one after business picks up with it.

I hope all Wii U owners feel like they get something out of the update. Sounds great!

I used to enjoy the Wii more when I was younger, but now I don't care too much for it's motion controls; my sister owns the original model of the Wii, and the real reason we ever truly use it is for its backwards compatibility of GameCube titles. And even then, I have a GameCube now, so it probably won't be getting much use out of me.

Still, though, this is the console that outsold the PlayStation 3 (which I love) and the Xbox 360 (which I don't love); it has more than earned its place in the world.

Goodbye, Wii.

Waiting for a Game Gear version.

I have my Zelda 3DS, but I'd buy eithee of these two in a heartbeat if I had the money. I only have the money for both X & Y, so I'll just have to buy both versions, as I've planned to do so since the first trailer.

@Hyperstar96 When you ask a non-gamer about consoles, they'll tell you about the Xbox, PlayStations & "Nintendos". Your everyday person doesn't know that Valve exists, therefore not making it a fourth major player.

But hey, I wouldn't be surprised if they got there much sooner than later, though. They know what they're doing.

@AutumnShantel Calling it a Game Boy makes no sense whatsoever. Because it's a 3DS. Duh.

I'd love to play on one just to know what it feels like. It looks like a wonderful handheld. (^-^)
