Re: Best Buy R.O.B. Saga Reaches a Happy Ending

JuanitoShet

Tsss, I'm jealous. I'd love to see that R.O.B. when I walked into a Best Buy store.

Wouldn't be surprised if the man/kid that started all of this got fired. Despite the fact that it seeims that the toy will be taken care of, he took through some unfavorable

Re: Talking Point: The Unreal Engine 4 Gaffe Exposes Graphical Snobbery, Again

JuanitoShet

Psh, bring on the specs talk. It's NEVER about the specs!

The PlayStation 4 will have all the power in the world an so will the next Xbox, but power has never been an equalizer in the gaming industry. We saw this with the Game Boy, which overcame the Game Gear & Atari Lynx. We saw this with the Wii, which outsold the 360 & PS3. We saw this with the DS, which sold more than twice as much as the PSP did, and we're seeing it RIGHT NOW with how the 3DS is selling better than iHop pancakes when the Vita is struggling to get a foothold.

Bring the talk of the power. 'Cause in the end, it doesn't matter to those who game.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Stock Jump Bodes Well for the Value of Potential

JuanitoShet

2013 Will be a positive year for Nintendo and all of it's consoles, especially the 3DS.

I don't care how long or how many people say Nintendo will drop out of business, because they won't. It's what they are, and what they came from, and they would NOT go down without a fight.

The Wii is for kids? Wrong. It outsold the 360 & PS3.

The Wii only sold mkre because

Re: Miyamoto: Harnessing NFC On Wii U Is Our Priority Right Now

JuanitoShet

I was thinking the exact same thing that many people here in the Comments have thought so far. I don't think that Nintendo would only use this technology to make figurine-dependent games. I mean, really? IT'S NINTENDO! Nintendo, the company that's always looking for new ideas and trying to be unique.

Why can't you trust them to do something that's yet to be seen (or to be seen in a major scale) when they've got this technology in their hands? I'd say people should have more trust in them.

I know I would. (I don't own a Wii U.)

Re: Doesn't Look Like Minecraft Will Be Coming To Wii U Anytime Soon

JuanitoShet

I can only imagine Minecraft on the Wii U. It'd be amazing!

Something else that people don't think much about is Minecraft, but on the 3DS! I'm pretty sure it'd work on the 3DS like a charm. So I say that if it eventually IS ported to the Wii U, that it should be ported to the 3DS as well.

Imagine, with the GamePad, you could have a map, and the items menu, all on that screen. The 3DS could do the same thing, but on it's bottom screen, and on both consoles you could select your items with the stylus.

Since playing it here on my PC, I've honestly thought that Minecraft would be a WONDER of a game on any of Nintendo's consoles. Even including the Wii.

Hoping it eventually does happen! :B

Re: 3DS Version Of Super Smash Bros 4 To Be Shown At E3

JuanitoShet

There's people worried about the 3DS version being horrible and all that, but then I think that it's Nintendo developing as series they've always been in charge of and have made SURE that they're good game-wise...

To that, I'd say people should stop worrying. All three of the first games have been awesome. You'd think people wouldn't have so much distrust for Nintendo.

Re: Game Over For THQ As Assets Are Purchased By Rival Publishers

JuanitoShet

I just HOPE that, with 2K reportedly taking the WWE license and all that crap, that the WWE games have some big changes made to them with them in charge. It'd be nice to see someone that's NOT THQ try their hand at WWE's wrestling games.

However, despite the fact that THQ rings that bell of nostalgia, I can't say I'm sad to see it go. It actually makes me happy in some way. I wasn't fully satisfied with them as a company for a while.

Good riddance.

Re: Footage of Renegade Kid's Crash Bandicoot DS Demo Emerges

JuanitoShet

Crash Bandicoot.

It makes me sad, looking back at the great games of the past that I spent so many countless hours playing as a toddler and a young boy.

Crash 1-3, Team Racing, Crash Bash on the PlayStation. (Still have Bash; the only one to survive. Still works.)

And then The Wrath of Cortex & Nitro Kart on the PS2.

Makes me sad looking back and wishing that some other development team took the reigns and brought the series back again to it's former glory.

I don't mean to get all nostalgic, or to look at things through rose-tinted glasses, but this is a series I truly do miss. I saw Mind Over Mutants when it was released, and I didn't like it at all.

Wish someone brought the Bandicoot name back.

Re: Nintendo Announces 890,000 Wii U Sales in U.S. Launch

JuanitoShet

I'm just blown away that the Wii and DS lines are still selling by the hundreds of thousands, even during the holiday seasons! And people say that these consoles are dead! Haha!

I'm sure the Wii U will sell a lot better a year from now. More games, and nothing more, will make the system sell well.

And the 3DS... Pokémon. X & Y. That is all that is needed. THEY'LL BE FLYIN' OFF SHELVES!

Re: Hardware Classics: Game Boy Micro Famicom Edition

JuanitoShet

I got to play the Micro. It is indeed a pretty awesome little console, but I find the 2-inch screen to just be way too small for certain games, like text-heavy based ones, for example.

Other than that, though, I wouldn't mind getting one eventually. I never owned one, but I got to play my cousin's, and my friend's.

Re: Review: Snowboard Xtreme (DSiWare)

JuanitoShet

I wonder how much longer the DS & DSi lines will be supported. The 3DS nears two years of life, and with games like these released, it gives a grim feeling.

Not that I'm generalizing the entire DSi Shop or anything, since I know it has it's gems as well. Just feels like people are either playing their DS Lites or just their 3DS's to me. But maybe it is just me.

Re: Review: Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (3DS eShop / NES)

JuanitoShet

Reading through all the comments, and for a couple of years now all I've read is that The Lost Levels are hard as s**t, that they're damn near unbeatable and that people only get to World 2 before they quit.

And here I've beaten them over and over my entire life. I have them once again in Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for the Game Boy Color, and I honestly don't see where the "brutality" in this game is. I've never found it!

Or maybe it's just the fact that I've gotten to play them since I was a toddler, I don't knoe. But I just personally think people exaggerate the difficulty way too much.

All in all though, The Lost Levels are still a blast to play today, for sure.

Re: Rumour: Ubisoft Looking To Buy THQ's Assets

JuanitoShet

Sounds good to me. Perhaos in this way, people from Ubisoft can influence the WWE games and take control of some of the developmental aspects, 'cause THQ doesn't add much to the yearly series each year.

But yet again, they could be worse off. They could be like the FIFA or MADDEN series...
