Yes was particular bad in the first cramped zone. I adjusted the settings after googling if others felt the same. It helped a bit but cannot play for long periods of time - so its between 1 and 2 for me on the poll.
I played for 30mins and got such severe motion sickness I had to stop. Will see what its like playing on handheld tomorrow. I do not think I am the only one.
Is it much cheaper in the UK as I just googled the switch version and its around £38? so with the upgrade fee its around £40... or am I misunderstanding?
Beautiful world, but the ugliest main character design from a Japanese developer - even with the ability to create a character you can't get past that bland look. Additionally I hope they change the music in the main city - that upbeat crazy repetitive electro on a loop was funny in a cheesy way, but really bad after a while.
@Donutman I'm not sure if this was the intention but you made it sound like all games should be designed with you in mind. You stated that 'I do not need political, religious, personal beliefs from the developers put into my games' - the problem with that argument is that they are not your games, they are the developers and if they want to explore any of those topics they are entitled to. Admittedly, it might not sell as much but thats up to the developers. Maybe I misunderstood your point, and rather that you agree that games with these concepts should exist but it's just you won't buy them?
Might have been better to have saved this for Switch 2 - would have been a great game to show off the system. Here it is a little underwhelming even though I enjoyed the other games in this series
Played it on Gamepass and loved it - took a bit of time for the hook to drop, but once it did I was semi obsessed. One of my games of the year - give it some time and you will love it (and learn a bit too)
Adverts make the main video almost unwatchable. I realise Nintendolife want to encourage us to the paid subscription by putting lots of adverts on there, however this might stop us watching altogether - strike that balance please.
I was interested until I saw the 3D artwork - the drawn character art is so nice. Publishers/developers if you are low on budget, invest in sprite art - this dodgy 3D does not age well
Always impressed that you review these niche titles. This one might not be for me but really glad you do it. Makes me keep coming back to this site to check on your lates reviews, always something good to read. I found Ender Lilies and Chained Echoes because of you guys
I would love a different sort of game in the Splatoon universe. Imagine traversing an environment with rpg elements - cross between Stray and Jet Set Radio.
It's mainly because I'm not a person who likes multiplayer
@brunojenso - some games resonate with others. I have recommended this game to all my pals and remains one of my favourites. So I am very happy to be reminded of this anniversary and its a moment in gaming that is hard to beat - riding a motorbike with Gregg.
I found this really interesting - bravo NintendoLife, more of this please. I'm not going to run out and get one but its tempting to buy a portable that can run xbox games; I'm still undecided about buying an xbox even though I have a switch and a PS5.. something about Forza and gamepass. Lots of negative comments on here which I disagree with.
I wouldnt mind a short hike clone as everyone is saying as I loved that game. Looks a bit too slippery control wise at the moment though - hope they fix that

Re: Tactical RPG 'Demonschool' Has Been Delayed Yet Again
Almost always prefer a delay to make the game better - we trust the developer in that, as long as they can afford to do that.
