Nice glad to see continued support and patch the game. Shows VC is serious about the feedback (or hate). The game is awesome.

@kobashi100 i dont see any issues layup timing issues but i am no expert so take it with a grain of salt. I turn off the gauge bar and go off the hd rumble and the animation for my timing.

So much more playable no morelong laggy cut scenes make for abetter experience. Dont see any difference on the matches still runs at 30 fps which is still playable. The corrupt save bug is gone. The loading screen is slightly improved. Gonna have tough time time switching between this fifa stardew arms and mini snes.

It would be good if they updated with new skins. Some to use for the i game currency once you have got all the gloves. I wouldnt mind a similar model to overwatch.

I dont care Fifa 18 still a great game on switch. A fifa game which i can play anywhere with decent graphics. Lets face it any nintendo port will always look "gimped" to some people but lets face it the hardware is built around being a hybrid console. Yes its always going to be lower graphics or lower fps etc cause its not a pure bred home console. Go buy a ps4! But yes you can take it anywhere or when your wife or kids want to use the main tv. Or squeeze few minute between breaks or multi tasking busy schedule.

Both my bros got the switch ver game and feedback was its a really good game. Same with my nephew who got it on ps4 who is hardcore into football/soccer, he told me he never liked the story mode. So i believe the journey is no big loss given that it runs super smooth. I will picking this up. Its great that both fifa and 2k18 came out this has brought alot of discussion.. where we would like as switch owners between optimise fps or graphics and sacrifices in terms of gameplay. Haters gonna keep hating..lol glad 2k18 doing well on the eshop and i hope fifa does well enough to bring ea and vc to bring more games to the switch.

Funny that gryo is so important to a game which is predominantly a single player experience. Understandable if its a really highly competitive multiplayer experience.

Unity engine is the main problem look at battle chasers having similar issues. Yes overcooked had no problems but if you look at overcooked graphics isnt too intensive and simpler game comparing the two and yet its running only in 30fps where if in another engine it could have easily gone to 60 fps. Shame that these two games are delayed as there is so many option now compared to four or so months ago. Best for yooka to be released maybe dec or next year add extra polish and fix/new content to entice to buy.

More excuses for not buying third party games. Yet complain nintendo not getting third party support. Its like an eco system people if you dont buy support games the developers wont make games for the system. Given if its a really bad port eg bugs frame rate drops. When you bought a switch you would have to know its limitation.. your dreaming if a game like doom can run on 1080p docked. Complaining about memory limitation thank nintendo at least providing at least highly accessible non pty memory card to expand memory. No gyro controls is not the end of the world.. lol if you really want it go buy it on pc ps4 ect the game is actually cheaper.. there is both good and bad.. but you have to make some compromise if you want to be able to play it on the go, etc. Calling it now fifa will be another topic next week and skyrim the next one people will be giving excuses not to buy.

@Iggy-Koopa unfortunately there will be a few nin people that will be picking said games apart. Looking at nba2k and next week fifa (not 1 to 1 scale to ps4 and no journey mode). You can be sure this will be the same case with skyrim and doom. No wonder nintendo doesnt get much 3rd parties.

I can already see it now.. more complaints and entitlements from fans. Its either going to be oh its 30fps only or take too much space for memory or graphics look like ps3. Or the old switcharoo.. day one buy.. game comes out ohh its 30fps, i have to download to play multi ect im not buying this.. that will definetly help get more third party support to switch.

Sd card issue is so blown. The problem i have is the huge save file that is required on your internal memory eg nba2k18 and possible future 3rd party games. What is the purpose of it?

I would rather have it saved on my sd card. I feel nintendo has to fix this. Not to say that 2k or other 3rd parties also has to be responsible with optimising theyre file size and game.

I have no problem with file size, games like 2k has large files due to that fact the sheer amount of data it stores, eg the voices for commentary, story mode voiceover, stats for each nba players, i mean even each nba players are modelled to look like their counterparts .. this is not a game to compare to something like zelda because the enemies do not have a unique appearance.

Will be getting doom both singleplayer and downloadable multiplayer no matter the file size cause sd cards is a no issue to me and i wanna support good 3rd party games on the switch, something that nintendo fans have been asking for.

As a person who has this game and can tell you first hand. The 5 gig internal storage was a big turn off, however having said that this game is HUGE therefore i can understand why they need to accomodate the huge storage, there is so much customisation, also got Myteam, Mycareer also having the playgrounds area. I felt actually overwhelmed at the amount of content. This not game is not for everyone, but for hardcore NBA fan or basketball in general its a must buy. Its the full game like the other console which we have been complaining about (eg fifa). So i think its either your damned if even they give us a full game or make it smaller with less feature for storage and higher framerate. I am sure this will be an issue with other big dev games too.

That was like that with most of the physical releases. Got my mario rabbids for $69.00 aud whilst the eshop had it for $89.90.

So many day one buys! When it rains it pours!! Off topic: Those who complain about limited storage saying its "2017" need to look no further than iphone x. 64gig internal base storage for 3 times the cost of a switch with no expansion for additional memory. Lol

They dropped the patch one day before 2k18 hits.. lucky i finished mario kingdom battle. At least i can juggle this between 2k18 now. I dont want to get rusty.. if lola pop is just as bouncy and awkward as helix i might find my new main!

For someone who doesnt own a wii u like a majority of gamers. Wii u ports for the most part is a welcome addition. I cannot wait for a smash & bayonetta port as like many havent had the chance to play it. Wii u owners there is still arms, mario rabbids kingdom battle, FE, mario ody, splat 2, xeno 2 for your first party flavours and upcoming games like nba 2k fifa which where never given time of day for proper version on the wii u. Peace!!!

F zero was one of the first or second game i bought (not including super mario world) for snes. I agree on a revival on the game. Maybe add more of a single player or rpg element to it to make it different from mario kart

So excited for this game never got around to playing it. And its coming this year! I will support rockstar, fingers crossed RDR gets a release too over gta. Although gta would be sweet too..

Ive been waiting for this patch, when is it coming out? =( takes so long wish they had the consistent update such as splat. The buttons update are great and all but ive already gotten used to the current controls.

Rockstar support is huggeee. I would consider them god tier developers for western gamers along with blizzard (come on bliz just release overwatch so i can have on the go). Hoping they release red dead redemption over gta as also have not the time of day to play it but heard it is also good. Just when you though sept and oct where the busy month, november shaping to be as just as crazy.

The reason phones will never be a real non casual gaming platform is that it lacks any uniform specs, every year theres new phones with better specs. Same reason there will always be home console and PCs. Also no uniformal control added scheme, phones are limited to touch controls, great for casual games.

Any idea how big the file size for #2? Im gonna have my card full by the time this comes out with 2k fifa etc? This could be deal breaker to me even though i really want RE on my switch.

Mario fifa nba fire emblem steamworld dig.. the rest will have to wait this the most games i will be purchasing over the course of couple months. Uusally only buy 1 big game per month or couple of indies.. my money ...my wife gonna kill me lol. Gave up toy collecting since the switch seems to save me money till now...

@dimi ps4 has been out for a while now plus the technology to put a ps4 spec as a portable unit would equal to more of an expensive machine. How big is a ps4 and how much would it take to cool cpu that powerful add a monitor/display that can run full 1080p or 4k.. let be realistic here.

If you want to play it on higher graphics play it on ps4. Let be realistic the switch doesnt have the power of ps4 or xbox1. Lol do you know how much more expensive piece of hardware and how much issue with battery life. I think 60 fps is more important than graphics for sports games and being able to take on the go. Switch purchase copy over my ps4 anyday. That goes for nba 2k18 too!

Few underestimate the indies. Indies deserve some of the credits for keeping the switch where it is now. If we look at how steam have become now, we cant deny that indies had a part in it. Indies also breed new life and innovations look at minecraft, arma/dayz, pubg, terraria, etc. Whilst i agree the bigger third party is lacking i believe they will come around. People are forgetting nintendo are doing something look at the collabs between ubisoft with mario rabbids, koei tecmo with fire emblem, bandai with pokken. Even open to cross platform multiplayer support unlike sony stance. Sick of hearing this conversation since launch i guess it cant be avoided..

Obviously sony paid square enix off. Vita support but no switch?. The graphics would have been perfect fit for switch. Not too bothered though i m getting my classic snes. Hope this is the only exclusive??? (Looking at you localising dragons quest.. dont be like mhxx) We are getting lost sphear final fantasy and fear effect remake.

I was going for the helix! I was also hoping he would use custom gloves, would be op! Although he held up okay with the blurp gloves against a fast ninjara.

Indies deserve some recognition for what they have done for switch why not celebrate it. I mean i have bought alot of indie games on steam due to impulsive buying but never get to play it. With my switch i actually playing it. Week after week there have been releases to hold us off till the third party support comes. Next month will start to see more third party support Fifa (which comes with 60fps compared to other versions dock and undocked) & pokken & nba 2k18

Those who expects switch to be on par graphics wise with ps4 or xb1 will definitly be disappointed with any games released for switch. You can never have a 1:1 ratio to dedicated home based console/machine. Let be real here lol your buying switch for the wrong reason. Switch is a hybrid console so you can have a decent home experience but it will never have to full experience (graphics wise). Its like buying a hybrid car saves petrol but you cant expect it to run gtr evo and save petrol.

Interesting if the graphics is the only difference may consider this. I havent got it yet on my ps4. But the choice of style doesnt really appeal maybe some extra gloss or effect over it is needed. Hope that is not the finished build.

Who cares about the graphics as long as it decently looking and plays well i will buy it! Fifa you can take anywhere despite having one less game mode.

Its been said many time before but the support for switch is amazing from indies. Despite slow support from big developers. I am running out money there just so many enticing indie games. The indies are definitely one of switches saving grace!

Great game played it on the psx, one of the hidden gems on psx. But id rather have square enix remaster games like vagrant story or bushido blade or parasite eve!!!

@JaxonH tho tempting I am still hoping for a localise version or if capcom do decide to do a dedicated follow up (not mh world) on the switch given its success in japan. I will probably get mh world on ps4 but it doesnt feel like a true mh game.

Big MH fan. But not importing this time i had tried before jap 3ds for mh4 & mh4u. Its a pain even with no real story, taking pics and translating, refering to translation website.. capcom will not get one cent of my money till they localise.

Currently running helix with icedragon and guardian. Will be interesting how this shield works! Plus looks like theres going to be three arm gloves than the initial reported one. Cos the other trailer had the new character with a different weapon.

There is plenty of platformers on the switch i dont mind waiting if this will cause a less buggy game. Just make sure you release before mario comes out please!

@ShadJV i think i may im just waiting for mario rabbids and tommo phantom trigger. This should hold me over till the next big update. Cannot recommend this game enough, it has so much potential. I would even go out on a limb and say its similar what overwatch has done to the FPS genre but for fighters. After playing this game i am even considering pokken tourney, that coming from person who dont usually like this genre.

I am a little disappointed that no new playable character was not revealed on this update, but glad to know they will announce soon. However feel like im getting burnt out. ARMS has been my most played game on the switch, despite also juggling Splatoon 2. I hope some of the people come back those rank match wait times are too long, i just get impatient and end up doing party mode.
