I think this is just wrong, I've been using my flipgrip with the switch oled, it's glorious. It fits in perfectly, I don't see any cosmetic damage from sliding it in and out dozens of times... I'm not one to baby my consoles though, especially if they are portable.

Oleds have some fast response times, I wonder if the input lag has been decreased at all

Yeah I have some big cracks on the back, my back is help tight with tape right now. My cartridge slot is not doing that well, it takes a lot of force to get the cartridge in. I had problems with stick issues on one joycon and multiple joycons would not pair when removed from the console. Nintendo fixed 2 of my joycons for free though luckily. Everything is still working ok enough right now but long term I'm not optimistic

This game does play better with the original flashlight system imo. It's kind of terrifying having to switch off your flashlight to fire your weapon, this game was scary as hell in it's original form.

The game really comes alive with 2 or 3 friends battling it out in the same room

Smash 4 is just a mess, I don't find melee interesting either really as Wavedashing ruined that game for me. I hope they can balance ultimate better.

This is really tempting because I really enjoyed the first game, love the music too. I would really like it on the 3ds though as that is where I played it. I see LRG did a physical edition for the VITA? Wtf why is there no 3ds physical release.

Looks cool but I don't like the idea of a changing difficulty, makes beating the game seem like it let you win really

The matchmaking really does need work, the skill gap is so big in this game! If you are a rookie or semi pro getting matched up with a veteran or higher just feels terrible and it's usually a slaughter. It's far worse on pc though, I try to play on there and im getting matched with experts and masters constantly as semi pro and it ruins the game.

Yes very fond memories of Toys r Us. It wasn't the closest store so going there was always an adventure. The rainbow entrance way they had was like some sort of magical gateway to fun for me !

End is Nigh and Vostok are probable buys at some point, ugh I have too many games to play! What a problem!

So this uses the same core at the Analogue NT? So the NT should be able to load these cores too I guess? That would make some sense as the NT does analog out too, which might justify the 2.5x price difference. Will be interesting to see how they handle the two different systems and if they give all cores to both products or how that will work.

If you like challenging platformers pick this one up it's very fun. You get a lot of game for 12 bucks!

Game is challenging and fun! I love a good platformer and this one does a lot of things right. The extra content is icing on the cake, I will be playing this one for a good while to come! Haven't really seen this visual style before which is fun.

I really wanted to like this on pc. It doesn't feel very responsive though. The difficulty might be a tad overboard too, it doesn't suit a game that doesn't control well to be brutally hard

It will probably not be good, but if we get some chiptunes out of it it won't be all bad.

Impressive it can take that many drops onto concrete. Yeah the plastic screen doesn't look quite as nice but it's very hard to break apparently.

Really excited! Merging their console and home development is going to yield a ton of fun for this system If they could have done OLED that would have been great but the cost factored in of course. I'm sad to see the 3d go it really adds a depth to the game world that is exciting to me. Maybe next console they can work it in again!

So if they do this right it will be exactly like original nes hardware? Yeah its a bit crazy to spend that much on a console but it's supposed to sound and look better, and the NES is the most iconic console of all time. I'm a little sad I don't see any other colors, I would really like one in red.

I wish the controller port was made like the original nes so we could use these controllers on a real nes

My first play of an N64 was actually when my friends brought their's over to play a game called Smash Brothers they spoke highly of. Well we played that for hundreds of hours throughout high school. Easily my favorite multiplayer console game. I will always be grateful for the great times it gave me with my friends.

This is probably the gimmick I care the least about. I don't want to stream games with the lag involved in that. I would much rather use my 3ds. I love the 3d on the 3ds, and the wiimote had it's place for shooting games... It seems the quality of the trick Nintendo is offering is going downhill. The gamepad is kind of neat at best, and this streaming gaming just sounds terrible. Hopefully this rumor is false, but it sounds pretty likely based on what we have heard.

@abbyhitter You can feel very close to someone if you enjoy something they have created. You don't have to be friends with someone to mourn a person dying if they have brought good emotions into your life.

Looking forward to this one and the new soundtrack!

@DanteSolablood I disagree, I just don't see anyone rushing out to buy a New 3ds for SNES games. I think they stand to make more money by releasing it on the old system as well if it would work. We don't know how accurate their emulation is trying to be. SNES games can be hard to emulate with high accuracy.

There is no reason for Nintendo to lie about this. Very few if any people would buy a new 3ds just to play old SNES games. They would make more money by putting these on the older 3ds if they could do it.

I think the game was popular because the game play worked well. The music is also great on it and really pushes it above and beyond, its a good game made great by the music imo.

I don't play first person games on console. So no.

I would rather you could win themes in the arcade then badges, the badges seem kind of pointless. I spent like 5 bucks in the badge arcade, I don't think I will spend any more.

The biggest change that needs to be made is just options for multiplayer. Why can't I play team battle with my friend over the internet? Why is 2 minute the only option? Give me a break.

This doesn't seem like a huge improvement although it does look better. Add in the added lag and I don't think you are coming out ahead.

I bought the first one as I love the show and was tremendously dissapointed. The game was childishly easy and seemed very lazy in the game play dept. I feel like this one will be the same, just watch the show. The game parts of these are poorly designed.

Im still waiting to be able to play team battle with a friend online. And how about a choice other than 2 minute battles? The options are really sad for Smash online and it could be so much better

Eh I never really liked battle mode anyways, I wouldn't really pay extra for a better mode. It should have been included in the game really. I would pay more for more tracks/cars if they looked fun though.

I will probably buy a few more amiibos if there is something I really like in other lines but I am done with the Smash ones for now. I refuse to pay scalpers and even spending a lot of time on the computer I manage to miss most pre orders. Collecting these things at this point is more who is willing to pay scalpers or who is willing to wait around to pounce like a hawk on pre orders.

Oh sweet I will pick this up for sure at some point.

Ship more copies, or devise some sort of system where you can order some of these products through club nintendo and they will produce as many as they need. The system they have is not working for anyone but scalpers right now.

Nintendo needs to take a serious look at what scalpers are doing with their products. It's pretty ridiculous that they come out with these items for fans to enjoy but many who would have gotten one will not get one because the price has been artificially inflated. The preorder window was hours at most and who wants to spend hours refreshing an amazon page. It takes a lot of the fun out of these. All the rich kids get the items is that much fun?

Definitely sounds interesting enough for a pick up after the review.
