I remember buying this game after loving Coliseum and being confused that the plot wasn't on the back of the case or mentioned in the manual. It wasn't until I got home and played it that I realized that there was no story mode I felt so disappointed but eventually started to enjoy it for what it was, though I still probably wouldn't have brought it if I knew

Glad to have backed this one its come together very nicely

Art style looked kinda interesting in the thumbnail but it's another top down 8bit-ish game. Looks a bit like Death road to Canada.

A shame but I understand their concerns. I wonder if any of these companies would consider crowd sourcing for the more financially risky release like this? If the fans fund the game from the get go it would cut out the speculation on if it's worth it or not

@Joeynator3000 Exactly what I thought, but considering he's Shovel Knight a digging based game in similar vein makes a lot of sense. This one looks like it's more platforming based though.

I was hoping this would come to switch. Got to love a game that forces you to actually stand in line for shopping

@LaytonPuzzle27 yeah but they literally treat it as MA15 with a new name. In Australia they classify ALL video games as childrens toys and the start of Hotline Miami has adult content explicitly forbidden regardless of context. Drug use is also banned meaning no We Happy Few either. Aparently Grand Theft Auto is a fine children's toy though.

And it's been pulled from the Australian eshop. Thanks spineless hypocritical government

Definitly, the only real problem with it is kraids awkward position. It sort of looks like he's floating Kirby style overhead. Still they all have a great mix between horror and action.

No real comparison here outside of nostalgia. At least the European and American ones still look decent

Honestly for the best, they didn't even put it in the right category. Hopefully it will be a lot more successful next time

I thought it was nice. Doug seemed a bit flat but he probably just needs a bit of time to get comfortable on stage. Reggie didn't become a living meme overnight after all.

I first read the sub header as new model instead of new mode. Now I'm kindadisappointed that it doesn't come packed with a miniature.

@Retron They actually found a vhs tape with the missing footage in a salt mine in Germany and had plans to restore it and make a director's cut but apparently it was in such poor condition that it never happened apparently.
