For me im happy that a game that is actually hard exists, reminds me of my childhood. These new games have no idea what hard is anymore in a relative sense, i mean most games nowadays have infinite retry mechanics, i remember when retries had to be earned through grit and determination.

The i want to play your game the way i want is somewhat entitled.
Nothing wrong with practice i say lol.

Currently im getting beaten up by a boss character, so I'm on a break with the new shinobi. Also a bit tough in places but ill get there.

Id guess that people complaining this is hard have not looked at hades or dead cells either lol.

This game with all its polish launched for under £20 and has not crashed on me once yet, my ass has been kicked many times already but im here for it.

I thought it nice the date the chose to release had meaning for me, so jumped in even though the launch games were not there for me vs switch one launch.

Game that is arguably less fun than wii sports and should really be pack in being sold separately.

0 incentive for loyal base that supported switch one from day one.

Removal of gold coins, removal of vouchers.

Now they are claiming ahhh its because carts are too slow.
If this was the case lead with this, no reason you cant put games that fit on cart and allo install from cart to console / sd express.

But the real magic is being able to resell you the same game later in new eshop for even more than you paid the first time.

At this point i don't think they will sell nearly as many switch 2 vs switch one. Their greed will humble them eventually...

Indeed the entitlement is off the charts , it was the price of a cocktail man .... In the age of mad greed , and it reminds me ofbthe days when games were hard... Its good to know some things take some effort..

In the digital only world they are dreaming of, all would be £70 with no hope of discounts greater than 15 %... Physical is keeping them honest to some degree in my opinion.

@mattitudemf a sane voice in the sea of crazy, this was my thought exactly and i am sure they can do it, they are using this as a means to sell more hardware, a dead switch does not in my opinion server anyone and this may well have the opposite effect to what they are intending in my opinion.

Also the fact there seems to be no clear appeal process is crazy town also, if online was free maybe this would be different, but it would still not be the best approach for this in my opinion.

Also them saying they are loosing sales, maybe they need to look to the abandonment of Nintendo selects and the introduction of £80 games....

Hello Everyone as far as i can the the main issue is greed.

I am with everyone that is buying carts to be able to own things, i am one such type of consumer.

the issue Nintendo are fighting would easily for the own use of purchased games be remedied by allowing users to install their carts to internal storage / sd inserted into switch, however Nintendo and others know that some users with get both a Digital and Physical copy of some games to satisfy the convenience of digital but also have the backup of physical for when the eshop is retired/ internet store is offline.

The Mig switch does indeed offer a nice solution to carry the images of many legally purchased games in a convenient form factor that would negate risk of misplacing multiple carts when on the move.

While i understand that some are using this to sail the high seas, i think its harsh to invoke such a heavy price on the end user if they are using this thing for fair use.

Missing In Craft view, maybe they can add in a patch , that would make it get another point for me

@Exwalmartian one of the biggest issues we have with digital is them trying to sell leases that they are able to ammend the condition of at any time of their choosing as if they are the same as physical purchases. For the same and often even more than in ownership terms the clearly better option..

Yes everyone harks on about the poor game companies needing to make ends meet.

I look to hollow night, the ori games, prince of persia and even rive.

All great experiences not priced crazy and all on cart.

My biggest bug bear is that we know that carts big enough to fit games exist.

I have largely avoided games with additional downloads.
If weak i get them digitally on sale. We should not have to pay full price for a game that we have to download half or more of for the physical edition in my opinion.

I feel this is a sleazy option and game key cards can also go do one .
Maximum inconvenience..

In an ideal world would be able to by physical with an option to install to system to play without cart to be able to save on carrying about a large number of carts.

On pc you can add a lot of physical games to steam and play without physical media..

They will eventually tank the industry with their wanton greed.

Pc graphics card market is going this way also...

I refuse to support this 1 3rd of a game on cart, especially from such a high calibre publisher. There is no excuse and they like 2k should be shamed for this. Its not like its cheap.

I'm up for a rerelease of some of the cross over titles that have not been re-released, but i guess that would maybe be more of a capcom celebration than a street fighter one.
However characters for Street fighter are front and center in those games. I'm down for Marvel vs Capcom 2 / 3 on , Tatsunoko Vs Capcom Xmen Vs Street fighter / Marvel vs Street Fighter / SNK vs Capcom 2 on switch / PC /PS5 / XB money left all over the table come on people

@GameOtaku 100% behind you i will resist this one like i resisted LA Noir, duped into some others without realising like NBA 2k19 and DOOM, but enough is enough, its not like they make anything cheaper. This reminds me of when everyone stated that the move from cart to DVD would make games cheaper, but they were in fact more expensive than ever before. I remember the N64. Expensive sure, but you had all of your game on those carts. RIP carts with the whole game on i guess. we must fight this with our wallets.

@ecco6t9 same here , we need to get them to stop this anti consumer practice. Whats worse is that sometimes other regions get all on cart or multiple carts. Corporate greed for the win.
Like this game would not sell if all on cart.. With this Rockstar have the opportunity to make a statement.

At this point, if they insist on using this engine for switch, surely they can use it to give us madden and NHL also. money just left wanting on the table there.

@Jacoby Exactly, but this is as they say rip off Britain!. my bigger issue is that sometimes its not even consistent across regions.
For Some games the Asian / US version will have all content (most content) on the actual cart, but not for the European version. I say Nay is what i say.

Some have stated that its because of the European requirement to have multiple languages.

I say we need to find a way to split that out and let you download what you need on that front if that is truly the case...

The assumption that because a game has a certain aesthetic that is aimed at kids missies something, Nintendo has made into an art form the ability to craft games that are able to span generations of players, Sega have that magic too. The ability to be accessible but also devilishly precise to be able to perfect.
Also in terms of basic business acumen a wider range means more money in the bank.
