Everyone loves Pikachu, right....RIGHT!? They look...okay, but chu isnt my fav Pokémon. I'll prolly pass. A little more of a variety would be nice. Even if it was gen 1 starters, or the most recent gen 8 starters just to be relevant.

Well. It's not the announcement anyone wanted or expected that's for sure, But maybe it wont be too bad. Some Pokémon spinoffs were actually great! Conquest anyone? That being said I've never played a Moba game? And have no idea who Tencent is.

@Varoennauraa Americans feel they are the most privileged of the bunch, ya know, cuz 'Murica. Games probably sell the most in USA too, not sure of exact numbers but im sure im not too off. Gotta keep the consumers "happy" and coming back for more.

@DarkTron Which is their fault! And i don't think those people deserve refunds, the error was made solely by the purchaser, and should not be Nintendo's problem! It's hard to believe this is even an issue. -_-

@idrawrobots I fail to see how its difficult to pick the right version when it asks you at least 3 separate times to make sure you are choosing the right one.

@Mynameishello Well first off, i am well past adolescence friend. So that assumption was pretty off. Point of the matter is, something like that is not racist, nor was it created to be racist. Making a fictional character look a certain way, is not necessarily racist, "Blacks", "Africans", "Negros", etc, whatever you wanna call them, look a certain way, and the majority, believe it or not, act a certain way as well, just as Whites, Asians, Indians, etc, etc, do. It is not attacking those people, it is a fictional character, in a fiction world, you'll find much worse stereotyping in the "entertainment" those people actually produce in the real world! People need to stop being so butt hurt about the littlest things, and stretching things to make it seem like they are victimized. Stereotypes exist, always have, always will, get over it and move on with your life. It's way too short to be butthurt over something so petty.

Closest thing Nintendo ever got to a full KH game was Dream Drop Distance (which was a great and fun game). I think all the entries leading up to 3 could easily be ported to the Switch. I know i'd rebuy the remixes to play on the go. Come on Square! You know you'd make bank!

@Kalmaro People are so petty, who honestly gives a heck. It's not like they're painting their face black while voicing characters, or being blatantly "racist" about anything. Then again the "race card" is pulled pretty frequently in this day and age, just because.

@Heavyarms55 I have AC:Rogue downloaded, but i don't own the Rebel collection...yet. Granted it's not paid DLC, but same kinda thing i guess.

@DonkeyDiddyKong I don't know if you've noticed...but sadly common sense is pretty damn rare nowadays. You'd have better luck finding a perfect IV, Hidden Ability shiny Wooloo in the wild within the first 15 minutes of starting a new game.

@Onkel_Laser I am a parent, and if i was letting my hypotherical 9 year old child (my oldest is only 1 and a half) buy DLC for a game, I'd make sure it was the right one, and I'd be the one making the purchase in the first place. That might be a defense in like the 90's with a generation that didnt grow up with technology, but no excuse in this day and age. Stupid people will be stupid. This isn't about defending GAMEFREAK.

@Onkel_Laser There is no excuse for stupidity. How do you "accidentally" pick Shield instead of Sword, or vice versa, and then confirm the purchase? People are just plain stupid. Don't put the blame on Gamefreak. People would be complaining if they released two new "Ultra" versions with the DLC too. No one can just be satisfied.

I couldnt give two ** if it "looks similar" to Pokémon, cause at the end of the day it's not. I have loved Pokémon from the beginning, but the franchise doesn't own the monster catching genre. There is room for others to exist and thrive too. Variety is the spice of life, right?

@RPGamer As a lifelong Pokémon fan, since Red and Blue, through every generation and remake, please don't include those people as part of the "Pokémon fanbase". They are nothing but trolls trying to be asses on the internet. Actual fans have recognized Sword and Shield to be a great contribution to the series.

@spider-manatee why...why would you do that? COLLECTION meaning more than one? 3 Bioshock games released on switch...= Collection, how does that not make sense.

@Crimson_Ridley WD-40 makes an electrical contact spray that worked wonders for my drifting joycon, with no problems. I have been drift free for almost a year now! And only treated it once!

@Incarna salty fans here!, get your salty fans! If you dont like it, that's cool, but noone wants your negativity regarding the franchise. And yes everyone loves the original trilogy, but the rest are really not as bad as people make it out to be. It is an epic 9 movie saga.

@rockodoodle why the hate on bits man, clearly you dont appreciate the style, but to say there is enough...alot of people grew up with games that looked like this, myself included. If its not your thing, don't buy it, but dont bother bashing the style of the games either. Makes you sound like an **, for example, I don't prefer CoD games, I haven't played one since black ops 1, but I dont hate on them. @GUSWANG you are certainly entitled to your own opinion, but trying it, and calling it terrible is a little extreme. No substance as to why you feel the way you do about the game, being so critical of it. It took me a sold 3 or 4 seasons to even be remotely good, and I think seeing the game evolve and your skill as well, is substantial and was a genuinely fun experience. But yes, personal experience will vary.

@GUSWANG You mean you were terrible at the game. The game itself is nowhere near terrible.

@FargusPelagius The Deadspace and Mass Effect trilogys would be welcome additions to the switch library. I wouldnt mind replaying those on the go.

@carlos82 open world is always better.

@AJ1 if you are a big fan, play in order SOT and then FBH (which is what I highly recommend). I wouldn't play FBH and then go back to SOT, if you are planning on playing just one, I'd pick FBH for all its advancements over the first entry. Hope that helps a little! Bottom line, both are fantastic for a fan of SP!

@Mountain_Man good I hope so. Screw the time traveler exploiters. I myself am guilty of doing it when I was younger on previous entries, but it's much more enjoyable when you actually play the game the way it's meant to be played.

Soooo...how's the game? Worth keeping an eye on or no? I haven't played any of the previous entries, so this would be the first.

@brunojenso there are squirrels, birds and small animals...they are your neighbors and you can photograph them all you want.

@personauser93 I think the updates are a great idea and deters time traveling, thus making people play the game the way it was intended.

Great concept, but seems poorly executed. Why not just a regular lego set? What is that cyborg Mario contraption?!
