Been a couple years since this review was commented on, I just picked up this game on sale, $15 for a new Physical copy, sure I coulda spent twice as much and got the Switch version, and maybe I will down the road, but I opted for my trusty old steed the 3DS & i've been having a blast, the nostalgia of buying a brand new physical 3DS game again was a fun experience too.

Game Freak, Level-5, please collaborate, and make something beautiful and amazing.

@marcel1_1 It's for people who didn't get to play Diamond and Pearl back on the DS, general newcomers, or for veterans nostalgia. While it certainly isn't my favorite entry in the Pokémon world, i enjoyed it, it did a good job of updating the visuals, and keeping the game true to the original as much as possible.

I can't wait! Very hype for this game. BDSP while nice to experience the Diamond/Pearl Era again, didn't quite fully scratch my Pokémon itch since Sword and Shield...this though...this looks awesome!

@MrHonest saw a clip of the character in the rain trying to catch a snorlax, looked really nice too!

@skycargav2000 I am one of those people, i skipped the WiiU, not sure why, & i have only played one once. Not sure why the WiiU was the only Nintendo Console I've never owned, what id do for WW and TP HD ports on the Switch.

@Pillowpants Who seriously does not have access to internet in some way shape or form, especially owning a device like the Nintendo Switch, and if you dont have internet at home, theres many other alternatives.
Places with free WiFi are very abundant, coffee shops, restaurants, hell Walmart, Internet hotspot on your phone, etc, complaining about a little download in this day and age is so petty.

But hey, we all know first world problems are the worst! 🙄

Pokémon always day 1, GTA and KOTOR eventually. Nov is a good month. 👍

@Axecon Patience young grasshopper, all will be released in due time. Just cause there are a couple spurts of Gen 8 (cause it's arguably most relevant) other generations/Pokemon won't just be skipped/ignored.
Would be cool to add Dynamax Raids and Gigantamax forms like they did with megas tho.
(Unpopular opinion I know, but Dynamax really isn't as bad as people make it out to be, I personally still prefer mega evolution though.)

@RadioHedgeFund More rewards for being farther away? I think you have it backwards. Let them still spin from the extended distance and give them minimal rewards.

@Fifth313ment or buy some WD-40 Electrical Contact Cleaner, spray under the rubber cap on the Joystick and voilá. Drift is gone. Worked for me, cost like 5$. Still have practically a whole can if I need it again, but haven't need to for almost 2 years now. 👍

@Henmii How is that split pad? I was thinking about picking it up since it seems it would fit my hands better than the smaller design of the regular Joy-cons.

I work at a Walmart and on more than one occasion I have witnessed some ***** buying 2 full carts of the cereal boxes with cards in them. I just wanted to deck him, or pour gasoline on the boxes and torch them. Hope he at least donates the cereal after yanking the cards.
