Still playing BotW and MMBN (I am NOT a fast player).
Although I think I'm roughly at the end of the story of MMBN and I am pretty sure I could go and beat Ganon right now if I wanted to. But I still have most of the side content in both games.

Daruk was the only one who touched my heart and genuinely made me shed a tear, but that's probably because I am old.

So glad it is doing well - here's hoping for StarForce Legacy Collection and maybe even some brand new games with this style of gameplay! I'll be honest, I loved these spinoffs much more than the original platformer MegaMan.

Ahh, I am never rushing to finish games, quite the opposite actually - it is not rare for me to play for double the average game time because I stop to smell the roses so much. Not planning on getting all the Koroks though, that really seems like more pain than worth. Another side mission I will skip is the super long gauntlet for the upgraded Master Sword for much the same reason as the Korok collecting.

Breath of the Wild and MegaMan Battle Network!
Both are great and incredibly addicting!!
Really happy for the battle network collection, I have wanted to replay these games for AGES, but didn't have my old copies anymore. (and i didn't have all the versions either!)
As for BotW, I am a bit late to the party and currently I see no chance of me finishing it before TotK, so I will probably be late to that party as well...

Aaaand it's already gone everywhere.... Bummer, I guess I was too slow.

What is 'Murder by Numbers' doing on any 'best games' list?! That was one of the most painful trudges of my life.

After finishing up Bioshock Remastered (What a masterpiece!), I wanted to try something different, and since TotK is just around the corner I decided to give BotW a go. I am having an absolute blast with it despite it is my very first Zelda game ever! I have managed to tame the first Divine Beast and now finishing up the side/shrine quests in Zora's Domain.

Also been playing Mary Skelter 2 on and off ever since I beat Xenoblade Chronicles DE, so I will try to make some progress in that one as well (Splatoon 3 is just always taking my time away from it, haha).

Unfortunately I don't really play brand new games, I prefer fishing for old ones in the virtual bargain bin of the eshop, so the only 2022 title I played is splatoon 3, winning by default. Not that it is a bad game, but I'd imagine xenoblade 3 would knock it out of the park. Alas, I haven't even got around to Future Connected in the DE...

I am sorry but I hate this idea. One of the reasons I love my Switch is that for many games you don't even need two controllers, let alone two consoles. In my mind this goes completely against the philosophy of the Switch. Heresy!

@JustMonika It is my very first time playing it but I reallly really enjoy the ride It is very atmospheric, has great story and I love how you can take down much stronger enemies with the correct strategy.

As always, I have managed to bite off more than I can chew: Splatoon 3, Mary Skelter 2, Rune Factory 1, Scribblenauts 1 and Bioshock 1 are all waiting to be played on this weekend. We shall see what I will have actual time for, seeing how I have been skipping work around the house in favor of Xmas shopping these days...

I am personally against vc, I have no desire to listen to 12 year olds pretending to have sexual relations with my various family members. If you want vc with people you actually trust with it, just use a 3rd party app.

Yepp, as someone whose childhood consisted of endless replays of SA and SA2 I will get it for sure. However, not on release, since my backlog is huge and there is a Splatfest on the weekend. And I probably won't get it full price either, as I am poor as hell.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions I guess. I really loved SA1 and 2, as well as Heroes. Meanwhile I still couldn't get into a single Mario game, either 2d or 3d, they are just very slow and boring in my opinion.

Can anyone here tell me if the new Monkey Island game is worth getting even if I haven't played the old ones?

Well they have on article that says just open all of your ports but do NOT do that.

It is not up to personal interpretation, it is usually featured in ToS or EULA of multiplayer games like this.

Not exactly. If you find a bug like this, you have to report it and avoid intentionally abusing it. This is also written in the EULA btw. What you are saying is basically 'If I am able to commit a crime it's on the people that made it possible, not on me'

I will try to help team Grub secure the eventual victory in the main event of Splatoon 3. I'm somehow being super lucky, as an absolute beginner I'm riding the winstreak to newer and newer heights.

Apparently I am a psycho. Weird way to find out, huh.

Sony censors games while Nintendo doesn't, so his logic seems a bit backwards for me. If anything, it is the PlayStation that has become a family friendly console.
On a side note, while I enjoyed the Yakuza games, I am still not sure romanticizing and promoting one of the world's vilest, most violent and cruel criminal organizations is a good idea.

I really loved it but I guess I am in a minority here. I do have to agree there were just a few too many farming rpgs though.

Not really surprised, as others have mentioned before me, people are rushing to buy before the price increase hits.

Splatoon 3 and Xenoblade Chronicles: DE.
Both are extremely fun and it is hard to decide which one to play but I hope to strike a nice balance between the two.

Since I don't have Splatoon 2 and I really loved the Splatfest demo, this is an easy decision for me.
