Voted Ike for the first day. Will continue to vote each day. The game looks decent. Like that a lot of classic characters will return. Looking forward to playing this.
People that are buying the system day one are buying it with Zelda. You don't really need much else at launch. This will likely pull in a lot of people that didn't have a Wii U.
@DragonEleven The possibility is there though. Imagine if there is a separate package that Switch owners could purchase for streaming Nintendo games, old and new, through Nvidias streaming tech. It's quite enticing. I would rather see a monthly fee instead of per hour though. As is, it's pretty expensive per hour.
This is disappointing. I bought the Wii U because of Xenoblade X, looks like I might have to get a PS4 for Persona 5. Really don't want to have to do that, mostly play PC when not playing Wii U. Nothing on the Switch is a indicating a must have for me.

@KirbyTheVampire I know the initial dock doesn't work that way, it merely gives power and fan allowing the higher resolution. But was just a thought as a way to somewhat future proof the console portion. Not sure if it would even be possible
@PlywoodStick I wonder if in a couple years they will have a new dock that has an X2 or X3 SoC in it so that it could take over and keep up with more demanding games for console purposes. That would help keep costs down, you could just buy a new dock but keep the handheld.
@3MonthBeef You can also stream any of your own pc games as long as you have an Nvidia graphics card. You can stream your entire desktop to it, any game on your pc, Steam Big Picture mode. GeForce Now is their subscription streaming which is entirely different than game stream
@GravyThief You get apps off of either the Google Play Store that has Android TV compatible apps or from the Nvidia Shield Hub app store which has quite a few games that will only run on the Shield Tv like Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, Half Life 2, and Borderlands to name a few. You can also side load a lot of apps that will work fine on it
@BornInNorway81 The Shield TV is a fantastic device. It's game stream capabilities are phenomenal. I am currently playing Dragon Age Inquisition on it. So rather than sit at my computer desk, I play it on the Shield in my entertainment room like a console. Emulator machine, Kodi machine, my cable tv machine, Netflix, android games and ports, GeForce Now pc games, 4k video, voice activated searching, etc. Soon it will be my DVR machine. My kids play Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 on game stream all the time. They can't sit in front of a computer and do that. It's a fantastic device.
@Hotfusion Although users overall spend less on Android, it does have about 80% of the mobile market, so that's a lot more people than IOS users. I do agree they should do a lower price, at least at some point.
@Mister_Wu Yep, this just seems entirely too weak to be true. If it's not even as powerful as the Shield TV this will fail. I do have a Shield TV and it's fantastic device for what it is though. If these specs are true then it's use as a home console will diminish greatly.
@diwdiws I was really expecting Pascal, not the X1. I was really hyped, but this isn't sounding all that encouraging. I think most AAA studios won't bother unless the game is a good fit. Will have to wait and see for the official news
@OorWullie Agree, portable is a great selling point for the game. I hope they would wait 6 months to release Fifa 18 instead though. That would give the Switch time to sell and if people know some sports games will be coming in the fall, they may be more likely to buy the system
Will people buy Fifa 17 6 months after it's initial release when they already have it on another console or PC? Seems like that will not meet expectations right off the bat.
Nintendo had a decision to make. I think they chose the correct decision to phase out the Wii U and focus on having a good launch line up. This would mean a barren patch for most of 2016. Some of this is also selling the news and investors locking in profit from before.
I really hope the Switch will have Nvidia's Game Stream and GeForce Now technology in it. This would tap a new market for Nintendo and allow PC games to be played on the handheld and on the TV. Ever since the rumors of Nvidia being the SoC for the NX I have been hoping this would be come to fruition
It'll have touch. No way you won't be able to play the new mobile games on the tablet part of the Switch. Next is what kind of OS will it run and will you have access to things like the Play Store and use it as a traditional tablet as well.
I've been excited for this game for awhile. Though it's not quite what I expected, the gameplay looks fun and I really like Atlus games as well as FE. Can't wait for the game, but highly doubt it gets a sequel. Who knows.
Release date for this was all I wanted to see from this direct. Pumped it's in June and not end of year. I'm cool with keeping Japanese voice, helps cut their costs a lot. Have been looking forward to this for some time. Will be kind of a Persona game with FE characters for the Wii u.
At around 85 hours in, its probably the best game I've played and I have so much left to do. I can easily see well over 200 hours. Im loving all the quests, they really tie into the story line and aren't pointless like a lot of the ones in the original Xeno blade. The world is amazing and I can just explore for hours. I'm amazed and the gameplay is phenomenal.
@JaxonH. When you are in the party ground hear menu, pick a character and an armor piece and press X. You will have several options, one being set fashion hear, something like that. When that's selected you will have the menu to select what you want your appearance to look like.
Nintendo should win developer of the year. All those other devs put out basically one major game, and often somewhat broken at launch. Just look at how many solid games Nintendo released this year between Wii U and 3DS.

Re: Airplane Mode Symbol Spotted In Nintendo Switch UI, Sets Tongues Wagging
Wouldn't really need mobile. Most phones can be a mobile hotspot these days.

Re: Former PS4 Indie Exclusive, Rime, Listed for Nintendo Switch Along With Other Platforms
Looks intriguing but would need to see more.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Will Rely on Switch Word of Mouth Due to Strange Presentation Timing
Hmm, in this day and age how will I ever see or hear about the presentation if I don't watch it live? Probably will be lost forever
Re: Super Mario Run Will Require a Constant Online Connection
They don't want people ripping off APKs and playing for free. The always online is just a verification of a legit game and account
Re: Feature: Xenoblade Chronicles X - One Year Later
Fantastic game. I had nearly 400 hours working on full map completion but ended up moving on at some point. I do plan on going back to it.
Really hope there is a follow up to this game on the Switch. So many questions to be answered.

@Maggots pretty sure that will be a big focus with NX, it has to be.
Re: Rumours and Speculation Stir Over Potential Involvement of Nintendo with Apple TV
