I love the gamepad. It is surprisingly comfortable and ergonomic. It will be great for when Xenoblade X comes out for the map and works really well with ZombiU and Splatoon. Even if it's not used for gameplay it is a great controller to use

@WebHead I don't think they will. If anything it will be through the Amazon app store exclusively at first considering the rumours of Amazon contacting nintendo on this. I think nintendo will help transform mobile into a legitimate game playing model.

Just note the language used, "dedicated gaming platform" and "dedicated game device business." He also states enjoying in the living room. Not sure this means Wii U replacement at all.

Definitely need to learn defense against sloshers. They throw a lot of paint pretty fast too.

Ranked battles are addicting, fun and intense. Once you get in the B levels there are some really good players. Plus, there are plenty of different weapon types that you can try and master. The way they are rolling out new content at a regular pace keeps things fresh and interesting. Level 20 doesn't mean a lot but adding in higher levels that take time to reach would be nice, but not a big deal at all. And splatfests are a blast and quite competitive.

I have no problem with cosmetic microtransactions because that never interests me, but if you get superior equipment with microtransactions then I'm not even going to consider this game.

My first splat fest and it was a blast. Had to split time with my wife and son, so sidnt have enough time to get to king. It was very competitive and I can't wait til the next one.

PC's yes, intel is better, but we aren't talking about pcs. Name a gaming console that has used an Intel chip. Xbone and PS4 both use AMD.

That's my thought process, though they say it won't be android. This could still be true if they go with Amazon Fire type OS.

Doesn't an AMD Arm based processor make more sense? As in the AMD Styx ?

Why wait? There is a lot of stuff available already and having weekly content updates keeps it refreshing.

@luke88. I'm hopeful they will change this eventually. My guess is they are ensuring stability and quick matchmaking for the time being, while collecting the data they need. With so much New stuff being added, it will probably be like this for a bit. Hopefully one day. Truly love this game though.

No matter how you look at this game, it is completely awesome. For the first time in my life, I have to fight for playing time for a game with my wife. Not to mention my 7 year old wants to play it too. Huge success, and in my opinion, very innovative.
