@fox_mattcloud Let's say that they did make a zelda movie it would still probably stink. Not because of ghibli but because of what zelda is. It would be a gorgeous movie FOR SURE. But I mean what made zelda stories so great was the accomplishment and likable characters that hardly even speak to make an impression. A movie of that probably wouldn't work in my dumb opinion. But I would love a good zelda movie so I hope I'm proves wrong one day lol

@nessisonett I thought both the season and harvest moon games have been bad for a while were they actually good until now? Either way I'll probably stick with the true sequel to friends of mineral town stardew valley

I thought this sucked big time when I played it and I stand by that. It felt... Unimaginative to me and I can see why one would disagree but that's me. Spirit tracks on the other hand was phenomenal to me. It felt like this game but it had good fresh ideas.

Cool. I kinda gave up this game because raids got boring but I'll dive back in. I hope legends is better than s and s though... I feel like people saying it's the worst are wrong. The problem is this is a console game not a 3ds title lol. Even then xc1 was on 3ds so they should have ramped it up for the 3ds at least. Sigh... I hope game freak isn't developing legends because they haven't had a new fresh and innovative game since that drill one on gba...

@PickledKong64 compared to animal crossing? Yeah. I love animal crossing too picked up every entry except new leaf. The fact is that kirbys adventure is probably the best nes game besides the marios it easily holds up best compared to it's peers.

Um strange journey is probably the best RPG on the console and smt devil survivor is just as good so... I guess it makes sense as these aren't household names but isn't it not doing the article justice to have two contenders for first depending on who you ask off the list entirely... While sonic dark brother whatever is there a just decent game.

@Heavyarms55 if games were cheap I'd buy a ton. Just play the games you have it will save you SO much money. And when you beat the story games play online until you find another. That's how I roll. Not buying a new game until I beat fire emblem for the 3rd time yes I have no life

This is an excellent article. I've honestly thought the same thing for a long time know. think of all the whacky unqieu nintendo games that came out on GameCube: baiten kaitos a weird rpg that was pretty good pikmin one of my top 5 games kirby air ride an amazing racing game starring everyones favorite puff ball metroid prime jumping into a fps of all things Mario strikers with it's dark feel for some reason chibi robo which is weirdest of the weird and of course animal crossing. The only thing that comes to mind for switch is labo arms and 1 2 switch, which are fine but two are just eh.

@pixelpatch I didn't find it that hard to control myself but I didn't play it for very long so maybe I just ignored it because I disliked the game anyway because im not one for battle royales

@Zyph same I'm excited to dive back into my personal favorite gen! I just got to crasher wake on my first gen 4 nuzlocke the day it was announced so I better hurry so I'm not sick of the game when it comes out lol. I think I might like the og look better but it's more convienent on switch and I like how they made it faithful.

Fortnite is not a bad game by any means. The problem was it was so incredibly popular that people started to hate on it. I actually don't like it because I dislike most battle royales not because fortnite suckz lolz. I just don't think it was a good enough game to warrant how insanely popular it was but it's good and I can see why people like it

@Trajan nah man I'm a huge persona fan depending on the day I think about my time with p3 more fondly than megaten. My point is they are both great games even if they are different and persona fans should definitely try these games if they have the chance.

@JaxonH really? I've only played 3 and some of 4 not 5 if strikers doesn't spoil plot points of 5 I'll pick it up definitely

@PBandSmelly why does everyone hype up champions road? I beat it like 4th try as a teen. There is like a lot more crash levels harder than champions road

@Kr96 I don't think it won't succeed but I do want people who liked persona to check it out because although it does succeed it probably won't get near p5s success. Again, I think it's too bad that the people who loved p5 aren't gonna experience this game. Also in the east I think smt is much bigger I don't know for sure though but over here persona is the name people know not smt.

@nessisonett if smt 3 flops on switch or 5 I will just be sad... Not for the company or anything but that so many people are busy with a lower quality spin off that they don't play some of the best games ever... Smt v I don't know about yet but I can say for certain nocturne is a lot better than p5

@TheLightSpirit what I'm saying is a lot of people only have a switch. There still may be a lot of people who do have a ps4 or switch, but the people looking at the game is probably a lot lower on a console with no prior experience to the game that spoils the original game if I had to guess. And even if it doesn't most people will think they need to play the original first. I just think that newcomers to the series probably won't start on switch.

@TheLightSpirit p5 strikers is gonna not be selling great on switch because it's a seuquel to a story heavy game not a lot of people have on PS4 or PS5 because a majority vod switch owners myself included can only afford one console in the generation

@nessisonett yeah lol. I thinks persona 5 is actually in the back end of quality for MEGATEN. I do want to play it on switch though because I don't have a ps4 and from what I played on ps3 it's a great game. The thing is that megaten games have been masterpieces and persona 5 while absolutely phenomenal is not a masterpiece. I'd argue persona 3 is better but that's subjective as they are all pretty even in quality. But yeah I wish persona fans would realize that... It's a spin off... Of a better game series. That's no diss on persona I love those games. But it's like atluss best games are unheard of because of some of their less good ones it's just kinda confusing NGL. I'd argue even the entries on the ds outdo persona by miles. Hope smt v 3 nocturne do well...

@COVIDberry I just want nintendo to get people hyped for smt so atlus realized there games work better on a portable console considering their length and difficulty. Also that ports can make money. I haven't heard anything about nocturne or smt v even though nocturne had nothing to hide it's a port with a couple bonuses that's it

@Tandy255 I feel the real irony is the two examples used in the article (yoshi crafted world and jedi fallen order) are two of the extremely rare games that love up to the hype. Yoshis crafted world was sported as the chill fun to look at version of yoshi while jedi fallen order was to me looking like a return to the old days of jedi order. Both felt like they lived up to it. The funniest thing is almost any other games would have been better examples lol. Even persona 5 a pretty good game didn't get near the hype and expectations it set up for itself. I would argue breath of the wild didn't live up to the hype with not enought main dungeons and I think it's the best zelda game.

@_Dan yeah I agree I was mostly talking about the controls but your right my bad. I'm not sure which one I like more personally I really liked splatoon 1s maps more they were more memorable

@clvr start with persona 3 portable on the psp with an emulator or original console. It is the hardest and p3p is the best version of persona 3. I feel it retains the horror vibe of smt the best and the religious crap is much more smt like. Also it is the hardest meaning you won't feel spoiled after 4 and 5 and 1 and 2 (which are all extremely easy). Just play at your own pace though no guide for s links and what not. The story is the best in the entire smt series imo and the character development is unmatched as well. Combat is a great difficult introduction to the series.

Edit: you shouldn't need to grind more than an hour over the course of the whole 60 hour game. I grinded extra to get the true mc persona but if you are smart with fusion and look at a guide every once in a while for fusion you shouldn't need grinding.

@_Dan I don't know about that I played splatoon 1 for the first time in a while and it's still as fast as splatoon 2. What I really meant though is maybe like the dualie roll just being part of the moveset because that's how I interpret the one move

I was extremely worried this would be splatoon 2 again with no changes because it looked the same from the gameplay and I knew just weapons and maps wouldn't change that but the movement options thing put those fears to rest this looks like a much faster game and I'm all for it hyped!!!!!!

@Denoloco well the truth is a good game is good for all audiences they make very japanese games but they are all good and amazing how the heck cares they are fun worldwide lol

I was surprised square enix didn't talk about jeo the world ends with you but other than that I'm cool with the direct. Oh and smt is gonna flop on nintendo switch because they never ***** talk about it dammit it's one of this year's biggest releases in spring and summer why
