As much as this abuse is a horrific crime, to kill off a whole community (if only temporarily) is bigger than just some of the people in the community. This argument is not false on the countrary this argument is a very fair one. At the same time this community is so big outside of the players themselves and positive faces are plentiful in the media. Hungry box and whoever others who are supporting this are trying to keep the community alive and they are doing it because they love the game. The truth is as bad as there assaults are they do not speak for a community that is larger than most people think. So many people wanted to watch this tournament and if it's cancelled it is a huge problem for the community. The community has had toxic problems for a long time besides this like it think there was a female isabelle player who was harassed for being female and playing the character after surprise winning a tourney. She left the community altogether. This may be ultimate but the same principles apply. The community is so large and so many people are disappointed by nintendo's actions that I believe we should save the community like this and reform it at the same time. Thats the thing about community's: these are problems no group of people can fix. Nintendo's problem can be fixed. You can't just destroy bullying or destroy rape. But we can call them out for it like this article does well and I thank you for making others more aware with your great opinion I just believe that maybe savingn tourneys Is something we can fix this way but we can't fix these human sins.

@eboreg I honestly think this is canon because the feel of it ya know? Morshu is not canon but age of calamity at least in my opinion is. It is different from the fan fiction feel of the original and the story was made by nintendo themselves which leads me to believe it is canon. I think of it this way: it is essentially a split path from ocarnka of time but they actually explained it this time in a game. Whether or not sequels in this timeline occur is up to you then again your argument that it is not canon holds up just as well

This is one of the first games I ever played and I loved it. I had only played Mario 64 before this as far as 3d platformers go so this felt like a really cool step forward with the time gap between releases. I don't think this game is better than Mario 64 but considering how this held up to me right after playing it I guarantee it is worth your time. If Mario galaxy never realised it's the best platformer on the system for me.

@N8tiveT3ch this to me looks like a full sequel more than a spin off gameplay has a cool mechanic where it freezes the game and pits it into a RPG menu very cool. Just saying hyrule warriors age of calamity feels more line really fast breath of the wild and it's more of a prequel than a spin off so maybe give this a chance then again if you hate warriors games play the demo because it still has a fair amount of that lol

Hacking old stuff is fine in my books as well as pirating it but when nintendo literally is selling these items everywhere even if you cant afford them you are literally stealing a product actively sold. In older consoles I think it's fine because there really isnt a way to play most of the games and nintendo definitely does t sell them in stores. I pirate snes games and ps1 games and when they sold mini costumes you bet I bought them (except for ps mini... kinda trash...). My point is, if there is a active way to buy a game, don't pirate it. You aren't playing a piece of history like in old games you are stealing from multiple businesses and that's not cool.

No offense to Sato and yakuza, but to be honest I'm still annoyed he wont help make another monkey ball... when he was in charge they were contenders for some of the best games ever and now they are definitely not that... I get it he was sick of producing games with a childish coating but these games are special and have a loyal fanbase... just one more Sato and see how much we will love it.

Three games:kirby pikmin and persona. Let me explain. Pikmin I am a God at so it makes me feel so zen. Literally next to no thought goes into the games all three. They take me away to a place where nothing can harm me. Kirby makes me feel great just because of the cheeryness. Persona is so chill all my worries just fade into style and coolness while I talk with my boy junpei who never fails to make me laugh. Funny thing: I hate literally any anime game or show besides persona (and now that I think about it pokemon fe and xenoblade but that's not a lot). This game is absolutely great for weebs and people alike it is an experience that any high schooler should do just based on how much it helps me cope. I hear you saying but MARIO ZELDA POKEMON ANIMAL CROSSING. Those I like just as much, but non pit me in as much of a zen comforted state as these. Anyone agree with any of these?

@Anguspuss well... wii u in the sentence says it all... but actually I think a lot of switch kickstarters actually came to fruition which obviously did not happen on the wii u. Although I applaud your non optimistic outlook because this game looks too cool... not sure if I can resist...

I think it's kind it funny how my three favorite nintendo franchises are all by Hal! Always forget about mother having been made by hal fantastic series people should definitely try.

I'm curious if this counts as a triple A game. If so this reminds me of ace attorney a double A game (which was made by a small amount of people in sega) where it has the polish of a triple A and the charm of a indie. These games are always gems and have a special place in my heart especially ghost trick on the nintendo ds.

Well as long as it's not pokemon sword I felt all the other complaints from fans about the dex and animations were over exaggerated as this was a great pokemon game and although not the best a worthy addition to the franchise except the story that was trash but it is pokemon why did you expect anything there hasn't been a good one since gen 5 and 6. 7 just had good characters not a good story. Anyway, on to the relevant part, the game was absolutely great for me but still to this day has horrible frame rate issues. It has freezes for 3 seconds at a time 0 frames that is right frozen. And it is especially jarring given the fact all zones in the wild area are supposed to transition seamlessly. Sigh, still a good game that is under appreciated IMO. If you dont like it that's fine but it is about what I personally would have wanted out of first console pokemon. Like I said, if framerates isnt like that, zero issues here! HYPED FOR THE ZELDA!!!

The first ones biggest problem was that the puzzles were very obscure (you got stuck constantly) and I have never gotten stuck in a zelda. Other than that highly recommend first one can't speak for second.

@JR150 never played SMT hear it's good I feel its fading into the shadows of how good persona 3 4 and 5 were tbh. Like I used to hear about them all the time now all I hear about is how persona is better which I have yet to actually see. One thing's for sure: persona is very unique and smt is probably different so they have different draws.

@popey1980 if they give subtitles, then we are probably going to get voice acting the translation itself is probably the hardest part.

I just looked up this guys bio and his literal job is to stir up crowds and guess what? He has been doing just that with both Facebook and has talked bad about iwata after his death (come on man he's been great at his job and I'm not defending nintendo they've done a ton of dumb things but he always seemed to steer them in a pretty good direction). He literally is just trying to get attention why are you taking this seriously? He couldn't be dumb enough to talk bad about Iwata as hard as he did if he wasn't just seeking attention, he knows full well nintendo is a smarter company than most others and that docked mode is just as used as the handheld he just wants attention. Heres an idea: don't give it to him.

@Dman10 well the thing is that you can play NHL on other systems (you can do that right?) This is easily regarded by people who played the translated version as one of the best games ever made so it's just kind of sad to see a game up there with BOTW in quality not translated. Now, this is probably because of the inappropriate stuff in the game that is bad especially for the US.

@Thirteen1355 well the gay people in the game are portrayed badly I don't have problem with gay people lol. If they were portrayed as normal people than there wouldn't be a problem but if you played the game you'd see that they are portrayed as creeps. Also they take literal drugs not implied drugs literally shrooms and also there is animal abuse, racist commentary, etc.

@The-Chosen-one solid 8. Great game not the best pokemon game out there but overall is just how I would have wanted pokemon to make the jump to home consoles with the wild area and other fun additions. Totally worth the money for replayability.

@Yanina well... in my humble opinion pirating switch games is stealing, pirating wii u or 3ds games is okay but I wont do it, and stealing anything before that is completely all right and I do it all the time. Pirating the first phoenix wright led me to support the dev's with the trilogy and I think a lot are like that. I know what you mean though. The fire emblem anniversary set I want because I mildly collect (I collect nintendo sets but don't really collect games ya know? Not in the economic standing to do so...) and it sold out in ten minutes (a death sentence for my internet) and they probably didn't make close to enough stock for the set. Same with 3d all stars artwork and this. You know nintendo is a smart company but the sad thing is they know collectors are a minority and they make these sets for fans of series (like I am of fe and many others who bought the set). For example, I bought xenoblade netbook with it because I am a fan. If you were a fan if xenoblade and havent played it for the first time you probably got the art book.

@LatsaSpege its is extremely controversial in a crap ton of aspects the way great ace attorney was (if you remember that was a Phoenix wright prequel that was rated T but has so many racist comments that it was never localized or just didn't have enough interest. The funny thing is, most racist comments were towards the japanese people who made it lol why.) Anyway, mother 3 would be rated T for the very small amount of blood in it but the controversial parts are things that aren't a part of esrb. Fir example, there are jokes about gay men somewhere in it which would only get crude humor (an e 10 and up worthy thing) even though it would start a frigging riot. I played the game a very long time ago forget how bad it was need to replay it. But I remember it being pretty bad and with todays sociopolitical climate it just can't happen. If that gay joke in persona 5 was bad this is mass genocide lol

@OctoAori20 let's recap: 4 phenomenons/characters that shaped the industry, one oddly well done character that surprised the hell out of me with how well it fit into the game, and 2 questionable albeit reasonable choices as nintendo wanted to promote two of its first party games. The good news is these games are great and are good enough to warrant characters why are you complaining? It's like no one cares that your gonna cry in your bed hugging your anime body pillow because the virgin within you can't take not getting something to your absolute and utter wishes so you take to the internet and complain that "nintendo sucks" when all that sucks is the fact that you complain about a video game that isnt doing everything according to some random persons every desire.
