You know what's the worst? The switch has such a good library of nintendo's history and even Sony's with a lot of games yet I don't see mine lasting much longer. I've had it since launch and I've taken pretty good care of it it just is not a resilient console at all. The battery life sucks and it seems to run slower. Maybe I need to buy a new one or maybe I need to replace the battery? Point is, up until now, I haven't been worried about my nintendo not working. But with the switch? It's still in it's prime and in worried about it kicking the bucket just from use. And I'm not on it 24/ 7 either. Point is, every nintendo handheld but the switch has been known for its insane resilience. My dsi xl I got has been banged around more often then possible and it still has a great battery life, no problems, no screen issues, and not even a significant scratch. The switch has seen half the playtime and it is already looking like it's going to have to stay in the dock forever from now on...

This looks really good. I like animal crossing a lot but I personally also really like sim games where you do exciting stuff along with basic stuff like stardew valley with the mines.

@Bloatato for me it's galaxy 1 galaxy 2 oddssey 64 sunshine 3d world/land but it changes regularly they are all so good! Sunshine with the fun unique controls, 64 with simplistic bliss, oddseys fluidness, 3d world's awesome adaptation of 2d to 3d, but galaxy 1 is the only one that never ceases to be my favorite. To me it is what marios prime form is and is the most perfect game in my eyes. I just don't see flaws in it. Gravity was cool and led to wacky scenarios, the penguins are back and better than ever, the music is the best in the series,.truly a masterpiece.

@Don although I agree I at least thing the new super mario bros series was a fine addition to the series

There is no such thing as a uncorrupt government because if it was uncorrupt there would be no freedom and the chance of a lunatic being the leader

@KateGray especially since they are trying to turn their stores into a place where you can rent pcs and retro game consoles to play it looks so cool but I don't know if they can pull it off. They would even divide locations like one third d and d and one third pcs and one third old retro consoles. That would be the coolest thing ever and companies have succeeded doing this I've been to some gamestop would be anither good addition to.many communities. Plus I feel they have started chilling on the thing where the employees were at gunpoint to cram memberships down your throat. I just would like them to succeed because their plan would make a lot of people happy instead of just being a more expensive alternative to amazon or best buy. Also Im pretty sure Reggie's there im not very knowledgeable about this but he is a positive face for the company to have. I just have a lot of memories of going to buy pokemon there and the employees being really nice and I would like their vision to come to fruition

@Bizzyb I agree wholeheartedly. My favorite example of a game that hits it OIT OF THE PARK is ff7. You don't need to grind once to beat that game. If you skip to much you might pay, but smart management is rewarded with quicker story progression. Ff7 is a great game with a great story but just the sheer great game difficulty scaling is so good. Xc1 is too grindy for me and I loved xc2 and didn't have to grind once so I turned it on easier difficulty and it was awesome. I'm glad they added easy because it makes the game more ff7 style: good gameplay rewards you grinding is optional.

I have played every console excluding the gameboy micro from nintendo and all I have to say is that the nintendo ds is like murder for bones. I play a game on my dsi xl which is the most comfortable one for me and I still can't play for a long time. The worst part is the tiny d pad it feels so bad on the fingers... @Averagewriter well yes but the point is why do things have to cost triple to be actually healthy for a human to use. A lot of others things seem to me to be a bit more optimized, while a lot of technology stuff from keyboards to controllers are just bad for people to use for a long amount of time. Tennis racket and stuff are not the rackets design flaw it's the work it takes to play a game which is the point. I see what you're trying to say though

I'm in high school and I sit on my bed against a wall and my back has started to die after doing it since spring of 2020. The screen time has also murdered my sleep schedule and I struggle even more than usual to get things done. Really kinda sucks.

@Anti-Matter id be surprised if you died twice in the first three world's, and you'll have more lives than you know what to do with soon. If you owned it on wii u, it's probably not worth it at all. It's a favorite of mine, so if bowser's fury is good I'll get it but if it's just a hour long journey... I think I'll wait until prime 4 botw2 psychonauts 2 and silksong come out those are the super hype games this year. Which ones are you excited for?

The fact lego city undercover is here means this list is great most underrated game ever IMO this community knows it's stuff rebougjt it on switch just to have it portable fun little game with a great sense of humor. I haven't had this much fun with a lego game since lego indiana jones and lego star wars the complete saga.

I just purchased the castlevania collection and although many of the best titles are absent this is a fantastic collection that introduced me to a surprisingly amazing game with kid dracula which is the newly translated game in the pack. Highly recommend emulation is better in this pack than the others as well (done by the talented folks who made the sega ages games)

@Ralizah hey kirbys dream land is great even without nostalgia I played it a year ago and it is one of the few I haven't played and it's one of my favorites in the series. It feels kind of arcade like almost

@Letzg077 I think that sword and shield were good but they were on par with ds games when they were console games which is not okay I mean I felt like nothing on this game was impossible for a ps2 or gamecube to handel and although the wild area is great the game just has lots of little problems that had no excuse to exist. Game freak should have put much more effort into the writing, animation, and optimization of the game it feels rushed. I mean this game lags HARD for me in some areas it doesn't make the game miserable but it happens a lot more than you'd think sometimes for three to four seconds at a time with zero frames. Like I said this game isn't even that technically impressive with the pop in and such. To put it in perspective, doom eternal runs great on switch. I liked how they fixed the national Dex though through dlc (less pokemon I felt gave the game some focus and the ones in dlc were most of the fan favorites that got cut) and also the dlc was really good this game would probably be much worse without it. I am also excited for the gen 4 remake gen 4 is my favorite and my first gen. Let's hope they don't destroy what is in my opinion the most memorable game in the series and make it fresh in some ways as well. But if they can fix the failures of sword they NEED TO THROW MONEY AT IT come on swords devs needed more time and money that is the truth absolutely.

@Kalmaro the problem isn't the game. Actually the game is what we should have expected exactly from cd project red. A good little game with some fun things and in my opinion a few more core gameplay flaws than other project red games but serviceable. The problem was they hyped it in a way that made it seem like it was years ahead when it was if anything par. They also lied a lot about stuff like a lot. The devs shouldn't get hate thought they did there job and it turned out alright just not to the godlike standards the higher ups put it too. If only they had made it less hyped up as the future it would have zero controversy but it's not the future.

@RandomAfricanGamer after the first one crashed and burned? To be fair the first one was a decent idea with horrific execution, but it was the beginning of the end for sonics consistent quality and sega won't risk it

@Rhaoulos I would say based on the gate things it is ten or so small open world levels. But yeah why buy the game if you own the original it just doesn't make sense unless bowser's fury is ten hours longer or more. I sold my wii u so I'm super excited to revisit it but I'd never but it if I had my wii u

@presenttense I always buy mario games physical just because it's something tangible and every consoles best games always include the mainline mario of the console. It is kind of a tradition for me. But this game is really good for parties enjoy it either way

Okay this is awesome. I wish some other companies would port there ds/3ds masterpieces (ahem capcom). I mean it's kinda dumb phoenix wright collection doesn't at least include apollo justice trilogy or at least have them in a separate collection. That's excusable though because the first three phoenix wright games are the definitive experience of the series and a great place to start. No no my problem is a little game called ghost trick. It's easily better than any phoenix wright game imo and that's from someone who's grown up on the games. It is a perfect game to release on switch. In fact, they practically already did it. The games on ios and android in hd already. This game is a masterpiece and has extremely likable characters. I highly recommend for it's storytelling, art, and gameplay. It's worth getting a copy believe me. It flopped horribly but got a reputation as a gem. It is a must play ds game.

I passed this store for years and always asked to go in but my parents never wanted me too for some reason. Kinda weird it's like what's wrong with a video rental store.

@Wilforce what sonic 06? I don't think it matters how it runs it is the definition of a mess with the bugs, glitches, controls, and plot. It would have been great with more time to be developed and a full team.

I get people are excited about new games but we've gotten a ton lately guys it's not a huge deal. Besides Id rather have a heavily delayed masterpiece then a rushed game that's just okay or worse a sonic 06 situation. Say what you will if sonic 06 had been delayed and not had staff cut in half it would have been the adventure three we wanted and it would have been great. Instead it's the absolute garbage we all know.

@nessisonett I find it funny story of the seasons is the harvest moon series and harvest moon is now kinda a clone of itself before but now it's called story of the seasons and ah it's so confusing yet funny

@JR150 well do I have good news for you: the demons you collect in these games are literally the same as megaten. By the way persona 4 golden is like 20 bucks I think that's pretty cheap for what is called the best vita game. Yeah these games are very fresh takes on the smt series so they are worth a shot for any smt fan for how they turn the formula on it's head

@JR150 all I have to say after playing smt and hearing a lot about tms: persona is a unique experience you won't regret. It sets itself apart in so many ways. This is a wonderfully weird game that owns everything like it isn't even weird. These games are an experience you wont see else where trust me give it a whirl. Also the only real comparison with tms is that it has social links but tms had bad ones for the most part. Persona has good ones. And I can't really explain it. It puts you in a zone I've never felt with another video game of going through my calendar not different to fe three houses. It's really unique and you should try it. I recommend persona 4 g on steam since you'd not have a ps4, if not on the vita persona 3 portable and also persona 4 golden. Ps2 and ps3 have the console versions of these games ps3 has persona 5 I think ps2 has 3 and 4

@JR150 oh yeah I heard this games great haha I just always thought it was more of a play this and after playing that you will want the rest of the franchise kind of deal and since I had played both franchises I didn't see a poijt ya know. Oh and tms is a lot like persona actually from what I here especially in the story department with the side missions except I think persona obviously does a better job as that is the focus of the game while in tms I hear it's a minor bit of it

@Ralizah oh I am not discounting a good game but I won't play it it's just not as good as megaten games and I like fe more than megaten. It's like watered down megaten from what I see. I think it's good for what it is. The problem is fe x megaten was a match made in HEAVEN and it should have maybe been like devil survivor or focused especially on one part of characters while using the others gameplay (mostly megaten characters but it is fe combat and one or two characters of huge story importance from fe or a full megaten game with like 1 or 2 megaten characters and mostly fe characters but that's just my opinion). I feel this game just radiated potential and turned out different from what they lead us to believe. If people knew it would be like this immediately I think it'd be fine
