Seems like more and more rogue-lites appear every month, yet only a few are unique and original.

This game is easily worth the price during its usual sales. Less than $1-2 USD is a steal for a game that provides a lot of fun during multiplayer sessions.

Loot grind is definitely not a good way to explain a full adventure mode. That being said, the footage we have seen so far suggests that this will be performed in a way that isn’t tedious.

Haven’t seen a console rock white as much as this one since the Wii.

While I do advocate the addition of DLC characters to the roster and am trying to contain the hype for PP, this statement leads me to believe that getting the DLC will unbalance the game or just be picks coming out of nowhere. I’m still hoping for the latter, but I really am not sure if that is the case anymore.

@Wanjia The One Piece physical most likely wasn’t even their decision, as it was Bandai Namco that published the game.

Given the recent partnerships between Ubisoft and Nintendo, I could definitely see this happening. Just wouldn’t expect anything more than the numbered entries with large downloads.

Always great to see one of Double Fine’s games break the top 3, which is made even better by the fact that it is a remaster of one of the studio’s classics.

@LittleLion The fighters and spirits can be extremely similar, but are never the same. For example, Wii Fit Trainer has a spirit, yet it is in a specific pose.

@Ttimer5 @DarthNocturnal I can tell you with certainty that these tracks will all be uploaded to SoundCloud and YouTube only about a month after they come out. Other than that, you can still import the CD and put it in an MP3 or something like that.

@BlueOcean It really is a great song, sucks that it is underused just because there are very few situations where it fits. It’s definitely one of the best songs in the Sonic series.

So this is one of those “playable experiences” (my definition: a game with realistic scenery and a great amount of narrative, but not much gameplay) rather than a traditional video game, correct?

@XenoShaun They did close down Pure Xbox, but OX and Eurogamer are still part of the Gamer Network. The big difference between NL/PS and other parts of the Gamer Network is really just formatting and features.

@LetsGoSwitch Nintendolife, Outside Xbox, and Push Square are all part of the Gamer Network. It’s just that some of the staff at Push Square isn’t great and OX is not really popular.

Most interested in the Junior’s Minions section, but that only seems like it will be a fraction of the game’s play value. After you play BIS, the magic from the first playthrough turns into the “where is the next bean/ other collectible” game.

@retro_player_22 It appears that Nintendo co-owns the Fatal Frame franchise w/ Koei Tecmo, so it’s unlikely that it would be FF since the game is cross platform.

Ouch, high price for something that seems like ARMS, Wii Fit, and Rhythm Heaven combined. The thing is that these games are very unalike and are better separately.

@The-Chosen-one That’s actually a good idea. A Subspace Emissary-like story with themed characters in each stage (though I probably shouldn’t take that remark seriously, since it’s not exclusive to Switch, but still a good idea).

@Craigsouthern I don’t think Koei Tecmo would make another game about FOTNS this soon.

It’s best not to get hopes up for Ninja Gaiden. It lives on through the Messenger, with Koei Tecmo now mainly focusing on the Warriors Franchise. (I think I may have unintentionally peeved some people off with this comment…)
