@shaneoh It's not that he simply "believes" that. He actively goes out of his way to hinder any advancement toward Japan acknowledging some of the horrible war crimes they've commited during WWII, such as the notorious Rape of Nanking, which someone already mentioned. If you want to know more about that gruesome event (which this man says never happened), look it up on Wikipedia.
Too bad this accomplishment is somewhat marred by this man's, uh... less than popular political views (basically he firmly believes Japan did nothing wrong in WWII).
@Bass_X0 Those two games are older than SF1 (1985 and 1984 respectively). Regardless, I'm partial to Yie Ar Kung Fu. Probably because of the NES version, which I owned way back when.
The original Street Fighter redefines the word hideous. Essentially, it's a steaming pile in video game form. It's amazing how -despite all that- it still eventually paved the way for its revolutionary sequel.
The pipe could have been created any number of ways. For example, it could have been activated by a P-switch. Or maybe it was already there. But that's besides the point. Goku didn't need to replace Doraemon. Both could have coexisted just fine. I mean, Pac Man had no problem being there along with Mario, right?
@Jingo_Unchained That isn't plagiarism. That's just a quote. It even has the quotation marks and everything. In an ideal world, Nintendo would approach the devs, secure the game and release it officially on the Wii U/3DS, possibly as a digital-only download via their eshop.

Burn it with fire.

I wonder if they'll ever bring this outside Japan. Looks interesting.
Re: Review: Noitu Love: Devolution (Wii U eShop)
Noitu Love = evoL utioN = evolution

Gonna get Dragon Quest, but in physical form.

They're both quite insectoid.

Re: Review: Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past (3DS)
I never played a Dragon Quest game before, but... after all the praise this game has been getting lately, I guess I'll have to play it then!

B-but I thought Miyamoto was their daddy? The plot thickens...
Re: CoroCoro Reveals Rockruff's Evolution & New Ultra Beasts for Pokémon Sun and Moon
I like Rockruff's evolutions, especially the "day" one.
Ash looks weird in that last page. Did they redesign his face again?
Re: Microsoft Blocks NESBox Emulator On Xbox One
Well, the saga continues, I suppose.
Re: Xbox One NES Emulator Passes Certification, Could Hit Console In The Next Few Days
This is a brave new world indeed.
However this goes, it will set an interesting precedent.
Re: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Has Been Delayed To 2018
Ouch!
The Wii U might not be relevant anymore in 2018, so I suppose this means a move to NX is likely.
Re: The Lead Composer for Dragon Quest is Officially the Oldest Game Music Composer
@TossedLlama
The key difference here is that Albert Einstein deeply regretted having allowed for the creation of the atomic bomb.

Re: Super Mario Maker Is Coming To 3DS
No online sharing kind of kills this game... :/

Re: Review: Surfin' Sam - Attack of the Aqualites (Wii U eShop)
My god... Can those graphics be any more unappealing?
Re: Puns and Timing Pinpointed As Reasons for a Pokémon Absence in Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony
@hieveryone
Not on a global level, though. Goku is far more recognizable than Doraemon in the western world.
Re: Video: Check Out The Action On Offer In Twisted Fusion
Meh...
Re: Puns and Timing Pinpointed As Reasons for a Pokémon Absence in Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony
I'm surprised that DBZ's Goku wasn't featured. He's pretty much the face of japanese animation.
Re: Weirdness: Pokémon GO Triggers Massive Trainer Stampedes In Taiwan
@RoomB31
"SUMO"? That's what we're calling Sun and Moon now? Why not just S&M?
...oh.
Re: Dark Horse Unveils The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts, Another Extravagant Hardback Book
I want this. It would fit very well next to my Hyrule Historia.
Re: Review: Metroid Prime: Federation Force (3DS)
Well, that's a glowing review, I'd say. Huh.
I may have to reconsider my stance on this game.
Hmm. We'll see what happens.

De Blob was pretty cool. I wonder if these guys have that IP.
Re: Video: Documentary Looks Over the Sad Demise of Mega Man Legends 3
They should port/remake Legends 1 and 2 on the 3DS. Seems like they would be a good fit.

Re: Review: Teddy Together (3DS eShop / 3DS)
There's something in the design of that teddy bear that looks... kind of creepy to be honest. I think it could be the massive forehead.
Re: New Pokémon and Antagonists, Team Skull, Revealed for Pokémon Sun and Moon
Eh...
Alolan Meowth's design looks kind of lazy to me.
It's pretty much just regular Meowth in a different pose.

But ours isn't an ideal world... -_-
