Re: A Wii U Homebrew Channel Opens Up New Possibilities for Some Cheeky Gamers

@MajinCubyan And said local hosting has already been made hyper easy - simply start one batch script that relies on Python 3 and bam all done.

As for the 3DS part. 100% agreed. With what the modifications apply there is simply no way AT ALL that Nintendo can still patch it unless they would use some kind of "kernel exploit" themselves. But by doing that they would only open up said "exploit" to the community so they wouldn't gain anything from it on the long run. The 3DS is cracked. Forever. And there is nothing Nintendo can do anymore. Whilst the 3DS is not yet at the stage the PSP was, progress towards that is being made to this day

Re: Talking Point: What Would You Like to See From Pokémon Sun and Moon?

Actual rivals. Sure Serena/Calem was a good rival but that whole friend squad of Trevor, Tierno and Shauna was just disgustingly horrible. No what we need is a new type of Gary/Blue. A rival that actually poses a challenge. And yes that includes Gary/Blue's snobby behaviour because that only makes us want to crush him even more.

As for HMs I think we should first get them but later in the game each HM should be replaced with a key item. Look at fan made games like Pokemon Zeta/Omicron and Pokemon Insurgence where you start with getting HMs but later you have to use that very HM and possibly even others to get a key item to replace the HM all together at which point you can remove it from the pokemon who had it.
I've seen people use the argument of "you wouldn't give a kid a cutting knife" as excuse to not replace a move like cut - but I truly hope to never see that again because giving a cutting knife is sure as heck not more dangerous than giving them a Slugma which should burn em alive just by being in its near vicinity.

(oh and .. pokemon following.. pretty please... won't happen but please do)

Re: Mario Kart TV Website Confirmed for Closure on 5th April

After they copyright claimed the youtube video i uploaded through the very game I am hardly surprised. Seriously one of those worst services ever. The highlight reel is a very small cut so there is no real gain in it for content creators (who would just be able to use a HDMI capture card). And for casual youtubers there is no gain in it, that is to say, "why bother" type.

Re: Pokémon Go is All Set for a March 'Field Test' in Japan

@Jamotello: I'd say that is very very unlikely. Heck even Pokemon GO is the 2nd app like this to ever hit the app stores. First being Ingress by the same developer (Niantic).

My own thoughts on this news.. awesome, but at the same time, very disturbing. Awesome because we finally got some Pokemon GO news, very disturbing because a field test might mean that development is FAAAR from done.
