A short time ago, we reported on the news that a fresh Pokémon arcade title was coming to Japan. We've now got more details on the unit - named Pokémon Ga-Olé - which is due to arrive in Japanese amusement centers this July.
Developed by Takara Tomy A.R.T.S. and Marvelous AQL, Ga-Olé uses plastic cards for its 'mon battling action and boasts a massive 50-inch display oriented in a portrait configuration to showcase the results. 50 "Olé Cards" will be available at a launch, and these highly collectable slabs of plastic feature QR codes and other stats relevant to each Pokémon. Players can rest their cards on a special rack before inserting them into the machine's dual card slots.
It's not known if the game will make it to the west, but our fingers are firmly crossed. What about yours?

I want a Pokemon TCG for Wii U, just like the new Skylanders Battlecast! Which is only available for Android and iOS, unfortunately.
@Tisteg80 I'd love for a Pokémon TCG game on the Wii U as well. I was a big fan of the GBC Pokémon TCG game, and I really enjoy Trading Card Video Games. They certainly make it easier to have matches with other people.

Ugh nvm. Japan. Obviously. Culture differences. Okay. I'm done on the internet again.
Keep selling that plastic
Everyone was guessing Spain for the basis of the Sun and Moon region, because Masuda visited the country recently. Guess the "Olé" is everything will come out of that, apparently!
