@Debbiee the game is honestly easier in alotta ways, gleeoks are entirely optional, as are all lynels, and hands can be dealth with with aoe stuff in particular bombs
Spoilers throughout nothing late game but def spoilers
besides the basic travelers soldiers knights royal royal guard (maybe) you can only find pristine weapons of stuff you broke on surface, make sure to break em not just swap as ya almost break em.
Small wheels are faster albeit not great on all terrain. spent too long futzing with a wagon for horse before I had autobuild. use sensor bubbulfrog or blupee to scan for caves, not all caves have blupees though. Caves with spears are the misko ones. Using more rockets does not make you launch higher. You do not need to talk to sidon before getting the zora armor. Had forgotten beedle was great for upgrade materials mainly butterflies and darners.
I missed the lucky clover despite going to rito village first as was thrown off by em talking abourt harths connections and follow fire/smoke to get there too, which in turn set me back on getting great fairies and spending time wondeirng on some of stable quests and the horse, manage dto miss hestu and go off to right jumping from balloo heading towards rito, getting wrong geoglyph second spoiling a story bit, also missed one of armors I wanted and went all ovr hunting for it for much pof game not sticking on roads to hateno which happened as I ot thrown off on thinking path was blocked in kakariko ad not wnating to go around but in fact the ring ruins were nto in way of continuing directly thoguh easy to miss if looking at road and not map. I also missed a schematic I'dve liked to grab early on plateu and wouldve If I remembered what was also there in first game. I almost got to a cool fabric before giving up for fear of hands at hyrule castle (fyi those do dissapears after enough time not being able to reach ya in sunlight leaving behind dark clumps, go to strat to actually fight em is bomb arrows though do be ready for some melee. anyways on the fabric hadn't gone back cause wasn't that interested in royal guard armor (which apparently ahs a setup bonus of climb and swim dash stamina down in additiomn to whats listed. On that note knew this but lobster shirt makes fanning sails easier. You get a lotta energy wells directly in depths just going under certain types of things from aboveground (can elaborate if somebody reminds me how to spoilertag here). The leathers allow sword beam even when damaged. the downside weapons only apply as such when the part you are holding. for decent weapons fusing materials adds 25 hits of durability flat regardless of when but you can never exceed 25 gained total this way per weapon. weapons attached to weapons add their own durability up to 25 gained ever and they break first (see crotons vid for it explained better). This ones more lategame the main rewards in labyrinth arent really useful without all of them and until mid to late game and have nothing to do with what ya'd guess from journals out front.
@_fatto_katto_ if you'd watched video, he was fully following nintendos content creation guidelines, which expand on the base game tos, and again non modded stuff is getting hit too
@Crono1973 even beyond that at times the games could do with more I felt like miyamotos huge push for none of the lore of galaxy 1 in 2 really undermined it too.
@DTFaux legit just lock it to completion of main campaign then, that's not a valid rationale on their part, they could also just lock the stuff out of comp at first
@RupeeClock I mean sure have it, but let me turn it off if I want, I feel it undermines the should I advance or check one more area, mystery around every corner aspect of the game
@InTree they aren't gonna do that as now it's on the same system as the main series so any improvements raise question of why isn't main game able to be like this
Didn't get it despite having both legends arceus and new pokemon snap, I'd guess it's cause I hadn't gotten around to registering em for points, sucks as I definitely care what they do here, and wanna see more stuff like mystery dungeon (hopefully without forced constant radar), conquest, ranger (assuming a future console has a suitable control scheme), or even rumble more in line with the first. And OC I'd prefer more open games at least in so far as linear has meant barren of much besides the straight line for last few gens.
@Collinhall I think one area it really shouldn't be is from a tech perspective of how can you efficiently make use of hardware (or go about online infrastructure) that isn't what defines a games uniqueness and there is a lot more likely to be a one right answer. Pokemon for example feels like it's missing basic industry standard ways of increasing performances sometimes (albeit not 100% first party) and nintendos online is a mess often
@Yosher I get they intend it to prolong the online lifespan but it also leaves ya screwed if ya like to just binge games where you are liable to either burn out on it long before rest is out or you wait till it's all done and miss any hype memes or community stuff around it, and by whichpoint the playerbase has shrunk signifcantly
@UmbreonsPapa actually almost always trials can be canceled immediately and you keep the trial till it expires, its just not openly presented that way cause they dont want people to do that
