To be honest, I kinda felt the same way for Xenoblade 2. Minor spoilers kinda, but similar to botw, after you beat the final boss in XC2 and reload the save file, you just get sent back to the entrance of the final boss, all that really changes is you get a little medal on the save file showing you beat the game. I still wanted to continue doing side quests, quests for the blades, leveling up, did some of the challenges, etc, so when I got to the entrance of the final boss, I just warped and continued doing side quests not doing the final boss. Then it finally hit me how weird it was not beating the game when I'm literally RIGHT THERE, beat the final boss, cried at the end cutscene, and reloaded the game again and continued doing side quests. So yeah I don't really see a reason to not beat the final boss here, especially since it takes maybe 30 minutes max to beat him, watch the cutscene, credits, etc, at least that's how I feel but eh, you do you mate it's your game you spent $60 on or whatever the currency

I hope they actually make a lot of these, I can easily see these releasing with barely any in stores, thus making them cost up to the hundreds on Ebay
