Nintendo can keep the WiiU, along with their same-old, factory made Mario ____. For now, i'll be focusing on 3DS/PS3 games. PS4 after, most likely.

@Macarony64 a fighting game that was like realistic martial arts and 1 hit rounds.

The WiiU will be lucky to surpass GC's sales. Games wise? there’s no way its predictable and stale line-up will even get close to matching the 64's in quality. Just no.

Knew i'd see Turok :RW on here, that multiplayer was soo good. Some of those weapons were insane.

Add Fighters Destiny to the list. One of the very few fighters on the platform, and it was actually pretty great.

They look like blow-up dolls in the WiiU version. Mario especially.

All i want is for them to hurry and release more info on the version differences. I wanted Y, but my friend (who's buying a 3ds for this) doesn't want X either because of the UGLY deer legendary.

@SphericalCrusher Ah, most of that stuff isn't worth the time sink imo. I’ve played competitively before, but only with people i know. And the last time i made an effort to collect 'em all must've been Yellow (my first one)... i never tried again after failing that.

Ha, i fully expected GF would do something like this. Maybe they'll reduce the number of boxes in-game to about 5, as encouragement for you to pay.

I don't remember Brain Training or Nintendogs ever taking off on the 3ds. They pretty much bombed pathetically compared to their predecessors.

@maceng Then i assume you never bothered with PSN? There's a massive load of kid friendly games available on the console, they just don't hog all the space in retail stores due to the PS3's audience being more varied.

@Senario Take a family who has no brand loyalty and wants to buy games for the holidays for kids. Do they want the $400 PS4 with violent M rated games, the $500 Xbox one with pretty much the same due to multiplats, or the family friendly looking Wii U at 300?

None of the above. They'd buy the cheaper PS3/360, and there's nothing non-family friendly about those. It's all in your head.

@NMH-TRI I think the same thing that happened to 3ds Brain Training, will also happen to Wii Fit U. The 'game' will bomb horrendously.

@Windy You should really just buy a PS3 if it's JRPGs that most interests you. A good number of 'em has been releasing lately (with Persona 5 still to be announced).

@ScorpionMG The 3DS sure is looking fine for the rest of this year, but next? it's starting look quite stale again. Could lose its momentum if they're not careful. As for Wii U games:

Sonic - Rarely ever good anymore
Mario kart - I've had my fill of these, they aren't getting any better.
Smash Bros. - Do want, but i'll make do with the 3DS version.
X - hardly know a thing about it. Not coming anytime soon.
3rd parties and indie stuff - What 3rd parties? lol (seriously though, Sony's serves me well enough with both already).

@FullbringIchigo @ikki5 You mistake me for somebody who is drooling over the PS4/Xbone line-ups. I don't care much for both (although the PS4 is most appealing to me overall). As soon as PS3 support begins to decline, my next logical step will be to upgrade (rather than downgrade with the U).

Same old line up... wow. The only game i really want from those (DK) isn't enough to make me buy the crappy console, knowing i'd be in for another full year's wait for the next game of interest.

Sorry Reggie, but i'll only look forward to buying a Wii U on its deathbed, end generation. Focus development resources towards the 3ds instead, please.

@MIPS Alternatives are fine, but one was already enough. When there's plenty of ways in which they could actually improve the system (battery life, ergonomics, dual pads etc.). At this point in its life it needs an upgrade, not another pointless alternative.

For the first time ever, the original model will remain as the best version.... SMDH

LOL, i like the idea of it. But there should have been grips on the back (along with the shoulder buttons). The button placement is the dumbest thing about it imo.

I think i got this game free, a while back. Need to buy the first game at some point.

Ah ok, then the only factors stopping me from buying are Nintendo drm and costing any more than £15-20.

Being download-only is actually perfect for a game like this (only worth a single playthrough), but Capcom can shove it if they fail to price accordingly.

@AutumnShantel FFIX is an awesome game and possibly the best FF... but by today’s standards, it's way too slow. You have to wait for about 1 min every time you enter battle. Gets infuriating.

@Samurai_Goroh #38 Agreed, they're definitely redundant at this point. Stadium 1/2 were the only good ones imo, because in addition to the cup battles (which were cleverly done), the games also contained a resource encyclopedia of sorts, had a GB player, mini-games etc.

Genius Sonority's games removed all that to focus on some half-assed RPG (it sucked), then with Battle Revolution managed to strip the game down even further into a worthless add-on. They're talentless devs who should stick to making garbage on eshop.

@jayclayx Sad but true. To get the interest of Nintendo fans, some 3rd parties actually do feel the need to include a Mario costume or something – happened with that Tekken game, Lego City and now Rayman Legends.

@okamiki Why would they? Sega has just realized there's no userbase for this kind of game on the WiiU.

I wanna see a mega Dugtrio next. Its new form will just be 10 regular Digletts, which can all attack individually.
