Re: Review: Wii Party U (Wii U)

Maybe they should have released the Gamepad as an add-on... because i see literally nothing here that wouldn't be possible on Wii. “Showcase of what the Wii U has to offer” LOL

Just the existence of DLC in Fire Emblem kinda ruined it imo. It's a mess of a game compared to older releases. I played through once on hard mode and got really irritated with all the forced grinding towards the end, so i just gave up on it. The first FE i refused to finish (the story sucking contributed, i'll admit.)

What kind of DLC was crammed into SMT4? That's the only RPG i intend to buy any time soon.

@Captain_Balko Joke or no, it makes you seem kinda unstable... Nowhere did i mention anything about hardcore/casual, what's superior, or what i consider myself as. I stated that Nintendo are “mostly concerned with casuals now”. Your rant doesn't respond to that point at all, despite quoting me.

@tanookisuit The only thing his post has shown is how over-sensitive and terrible the reaction from fanboys are. Who'd bother responding seriously to such a thing?

@oreqano I mean it as in - you can't compete with others unless you're at least competent at what you do.

When you look at their last two system gimmicks; 3D, the gamepad - one is being somewhat ditched from this point forward (an admission of it being short-lived), and the other is failing to attract any people at all due to uninspired usage. It's nothing revolutionary, it's not just that i personally don't like them.
Btw, that doesn't sound rude. Man, i've seen much worse lol.

Re: Miyamoto: Retro Studios is High on The List of Candidates For A New Metroid Game

Doma

3 games was enough from Retro imo. They should've been put to work on a new smash hit IP (similarly catering to the teen/adult demographic) as their first WiiU game. Doing so might have generated some actual interest in Nintendo's brand new console, unlike the slew of samey looking sequels to Wii games planned currently.

Give Metroid to Platinum, and make it a 3ds game. Screw the WiiU.

@idork99 Not much has changed in the way of mechanics or layout since then. So no, it won't appeal to you. Also, there won't be a demo, Nintendo never bother for games they think will sell regardless.
