Re: Guest Blog: Shut up! Nothing is Wrong With The Nintendo Wii U!

@Yorumi Nintendo not including sufficient internal memory in the WiiU is about on the same level as not including a charger with 3DS XL, or including a crappy default battery for the Gamepad. All of this was done to cut costs to them, not the consumer.

Trying to argue that they're offering value is laughable.

The claim that games like Shantae/Shovel Knight will increase hardware sales.... is ridiculous, to say the least.

edit: Another thing. Why do people just assume that unified accounts will be implemented as an end result of the Network ID?

Iwata has a reason for tying purchases to the hardware they're bought on - it's all about exerting control over consumers (same as the region lock). There's NO point in criticizing this aspect if you still buy from eShop regardless. You're part of the problem.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Games Our Readers Would Love to See in 2014

Are people THIS desperate to play old games on their failed console? It's only gonna stay dead that way, i hope you realize....

Gimme my new (3DS only) Advance Wars, damn it!

@Senario More like the originals, as in AW2 please. The RPG elements and overpowered features of Dual Strike were not good..

Re: Rune Factory 4 European Release Has Been Cancelled

Sucks. I didn't want the game, but if this somehow happens to SMTIV aswell, then God damn......
I'll give them until the end of this month to announce something, before filling Nintendo's inbox with spam and rage.

One of the many reasons to despise Iwata. Anti-consumer bullpoodlepooie.

No need for profanity here -Lz

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Wii U Struggles Bring a Challenge, Not Doom

Doma

@hydeks Agreed. Plus we know the answer to that already - Iwata stated they are unable to compete because they're “not good” at it (pathetic stance for any company CEO to take).

They really should just go portable only (and maybe third party on consoles).

@steamtrain Not eachother - People look at the 3DS and see that it provides mostly the same/better experience than the WiiU does, but for cheaper. There are so few reasons to own both.

@ricklongo Ah, the Wii/DS absolver... I wonder how many yrs of losses it would take for you to accept that he's become detrimental to the present/future success of your beloved company?

Re: Talking Point: Claims of Wii U Third-Party Development Troubles Shouldn't Be Dismissed Lightly

@LDXD I wouldn't call TLOU the exact same as Uncharted. Story and gameplay wise, it's an improvement with more depth overall.

@GN004Nadleeh It's funny, the lack of games on the N64 was pretty bad (i got a PS1 later too). But the fact that its best games were so damn good, almost made up for it, in my eyes. However, that was a time when Nintendo weren’t heavily focused on kids/family/casuals, and they had Rareware/less pathetic western support in general. Not like now.

@ShadowWolf598 Huh, the only reason you don't care about 3rd parties on WiiU is because you own a PS4 aswell? You fooled me!

Tbh man, Mario and Zelda bore me more often than not nowadays. Those series never change or somehow get easier/less ambitious with each release.

The lack of third party stuff as the ones @DarkCoolEdge mentioned, immediately kills the interest of most gamers, in reality. People with the intention of buying only one console (like me) would never choose the WiiU. 3DS should suffice for Nintendo games.
