I Disagree strongly. I hope this sells great so pikmin can move higher on Nintendo's IP totem pole. It's only had 3 mainline games in almost 20 years now.

Pokemon gold and silver or heartgold and soulsilver are my favorites. Love me some Jhoto.

Played it lot back in the day. Definitely getting this. I think I heard that there will be a day one patch, so hopefully that fixes up more issues.

I'm super excited for this. Played the 64 one a lot when I was younger. The fact that it looks great is nice too. This will probably be a day one purchase for me.

I'm so excited for this. Loved the original. This mode looks like it'll be fun to play with friends from time to time.

I hope that when it does release, it will be a great game. Digimon games are inconsistent. It'd be nice if this is one of the better ones.

@mesome713 Sort of. They add modes, update rosters, do extra stuff with the physics engine. It's definitely more work than people think. Of course Pokemon is more creative, we're comparing a sports franchise to a completely fictional one. Also, story? Only gen 5 had a good story imo.

I'd argue the sister games and ones like ultra sun and moon are just as bad as this. They add literally 2 or 3 features, have the same story and release it full price. Just Google FIFA 2020 new modes, they do exist. To say FIGA does nothing in between each game and praise Pokemon so hard seems to hypocritical to me.

I personally don't, but it surprises me when others do and people get irrationally angry. Let other play like they want to. Animal crossing is such a non competitive game anyway.

That's weird. I thought fire emblem and persona were critically praised? I guess it's just a popularity contest then.

Grabbing this. Ibb and Obb was really fun on PS3.

I have this for both switch and on steam. This is simply amazing. Now I'm going to play this way too much.

I do like the old games and cloud saves, but the actual "online" is so bad for me. Smash is borderline unplayable as is mario maker 2. I don't lag when I play on PC and I didn't lag when I had PS plus on my PS4 a few years ago. And I'm wired in too. I won't be renewing when my subscription expires in December. Smash's online needed to flow smoothly for me to keep it, but it just isn't for me.

Disappointing, but expected. My brother asked for it for Christmas and I figured I'd give it a shot. Imo it's the worst of the core Pokemon games.

I'm interested. Haven't really enjoyed pokemon since the 3DS. Monster rancher and Digimon have filled the void nicely, but other games are welcome.

Ultimate chicken horse is such a great party game. So much fun with friends. I wish monster rancher would've been on the charts. I made a Japanese account and bought Japanese eshop codes to get it.

I Wholeheartedly agree. Smash is packed to the brim with content and love. Pokemon seemed rushed out.

Imo the last character is underwhelming. I don't have an interest in FE and that franchise already has enough reps imo. With the others being third party, I thought the last pic was going to be an insane 3rd party pick. I'm not mad about it, rather disappointed.

1000% buying the cuphead one. I'll Probably get the rabbids one too.

I thought they were going to go all out and get a far out 3rd party character. The other characters in the pass were interesting, but this is lame in my opinion.

Never have played Fire Emblem. Maybe one day I will. Personally, I'd have to go with Super Mario Odyssey. That game was pure joy and I found the capture mechanic to be awesome. Galaxy 2 was also fantastic.

I'm just happy to see Digimon make this list. Really wasn't expecting it to. My favorite though, would probably be Luigi's Mansion 3. It's just so much fun. Zelda, witcher, cuphead and Dragon Quest are all really good as well. Imo it was a solid year for the switch.

My most played games were Smash Ultimate, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, Luigi's Mansion 3, Skyrim and South Park. Love stats like these. They're just fun.

Nice to see Nintendo dominate in their homeland.

My favorite of the series besides the remakes. It was just such an improvement over Gen 1 it's insane. Will always love these.

Eventually I might, but they'd need a decent discount. I personally can't justify spending $60 on these. Knowing Pokemon games and discounts though... I wouldn't be surprised if I never get them.

Even with newer and flashier installments, I still play this one from time to time. One of my favorites!

Actually the contrary... I'm a Pokemon nerd. I own and have played every gen prior to this one. I own more merchandise than I care to admit. It doesn't sit right with me that Gamefreak publicly stated that they removed the national dex because they were upping the animations and models. It has been revealed that they are indeed using the same exact models by people digging into the code. Some new animations are admittedly badass, like scorbunny's final form, but the older moves were ripped right from the 3DS. I can't see how this is not a lie. As a consumer, I don't like being lied to. I've also heard the post game is minimal, performance isn't great and it's still pretty easy. Combine these with a bigger price tag... No thanks. The yearly cycle is definitely killing them. I feel bad for the devs. At the end of the day though, it's just a game. I've had my rant, but these people sending death threats and other stupid stuff is ridiculous.

Hell yea, Cyber Sleuth is so good. Luigi's Mansion 3 just plain rocks though. If you have the time and cash, I'd highly recommend it.

Totally with you. X and Y were mediocre to me. I also gave alpha sapphire and moon a go, but I though they were just ok as well. Definitely not getting sword or shield. Too many other games to play.

Have a hat in time preordered. That's it for me. I have enough to play.

I love the 3DS, but it has done it's job. Wonder how many more hardware and software units they can squeeze out of it. I still play mine from time to time.

@westman98 Honestly skipped right over splatoon, but I'm not sure about Mario Maker. I thought it'd have higher sales at this point. But it is an evergreen title so we'll see. I'm also surprised about Mario Party. Sold more than I expected it to.

I'm curious how Nintendo will keep up momentum after the last of what we know right now comes out (botw 2, animal crossing, metroid prime). I think by the end of next year, they'll probably have a game out for all of their major IPs.
