Those top 5 software unit sales are nuts. Besides Pokemon and Animal Crossing, I doubt any other Nintendo IP has enough muscle to get up in the 10 million plus region.

When I say "biggest" I'm talking in terms of commercial interest. These will sell ridiculous numbers, with these being the first true gen on a HD console and all that. Personally I think they look disappointing as all hell and I won't be buying either one of them, but I don't think it's a stretch to say they are some of the biggest switch games around.
Or if you're implying that I should've said "largest"... You're probably right. Idk know the difference between them.

Expected... But still, thank God we're paying for those cloud saves, am I right? These will be 2 of the biggest games for switch, and they won't support it.

I was wondering if this site would review this. I found these to be very fun back on the ps4. But now I can take both on the go (don't own a Vita) and I'm very happy with that.

I'm upset that digimon cyber sleuth didn't chart. I know it's Japan and they don't really buy ports. Only a few really sell there. Still expected Digimon to make top 10. Nice to see the witcher there, though.

I'll be playing digimon story cyber sleuth. I might play dragon quest a bit too, but I want to chip away at digimon first.

@SwitchForce Um ok? Even with the 3DS, the last generation of consoles weren't great times for Nintendo. They reported that they were losing money. Not to mention that the 3DS's launch wasn't good.

My original comment was only saying that I'm happy that they are where they are now at. I'm also curious if the sales will keep up and sell more than the 3DS despite it being a home console (technically).
Another chart here shows that they are doing much better now than during the Wii U era, even with the 3DS behind it's back.

At least in this example, none of the 4smash accounts wanted to tag the accounts of developers. They were doing their own thing, and one person randomly decided to tag the developers without the rest knowing. So when the replies kept coming, the developers kept getting the replies. Just wanted to clear that up.

It's nice to see a Nintendo console do well again. The Wii U were dark days for them. I'm already wondering what the life time sales figures will look like.

I'll be getting a physical copy of digimon. As well as a Hat in a Time, which is coming in November I hear.

Won't get around to it for a while... Still pre ordered due to them using the 32GB card.

Getting witcher 3 physical. Probably won't play it for a bit, but I'll support them using the big ass 32GB card. That's why I skipped spyro.

I'm just not interested in these anymore. Gamefreak and pokemon are big enough that they could easily have all pokemon. That and the underwhelming graphics at a $60 price tag makes these a hard pass. The first gen of pokemon I'll completely skip.

That's good. HMs were just simply annoying. However, it's not enough for me to buy. I was once looking very forward to these, but it trickled away.

No mention of Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth? For me, that's number 1 this month. Luigi's mansion, A Hat in Time and The Witcher 3 follow.

Got Dragon Quest XI yesterday. So I'll play that when I can. Got school stuff in the way so it'll probably be less than I'd like.

I'm surprised we haven't gotten any GTA games on switch yet. This would be cool, but I'm another person in the GTA IV or V or bust camp. I really liked those last 2 and if they were ever portable that would be nice.

Honestly, this direct didn't do it for me. All that I was really happy about was banjo dropping, luigis mansion info and animal crossing info. I personally don't care about xenoblade, so the "one last thing" did nothing to move me. Also hoping for a wii u port I'd care about (3D world, pikmin 3). I'd give it a 5/10 at best.
Speaking objectively though, there was a lot of stuff here. I've been seeing plenty of people say 8/10 or 9/10 direct. Wish more announcements were my taste.

Double dash will always (probably) be my favorite Mario Kart. Mario kart 8 deluxe is good, but it can't touch double dash imo! Not really interested in tour, but damn I love the bowser she'll item.

Lots of games coming out before the year ends. For me, the big ones are dragon quest, spyro, the witcher 3, link's awakening, Luigi's mansion and digimon story cyber sleuth. Lots of good stuff.

Personally, this doesn't interest me. Besides, with luigis mansion, dragon quest and Digimon story cyber sleuth around the corner, my time will be eaten up. School and work are also time eaters as well...
