In addition to the reveal of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's fifth DLC fighter and the second Fighters Pass DLC, series director Masahiro Sakurai today revealed the latest bunch of Mii Fighter costumes to launch in the game.
From the 28th January, you'll be able to purchase all of the costumes shown below. Let's go through them all, shall we?
Cuphead
Players who purchase the Cuphead Mii Fighter costume will also receive a new music track, Floral Fury, which was originally featured in the game’s classic Cagney Carnation boss battle.
Rabbids
Altair (Assassin's Creed)
Mega Man
All of these costumes will cost $0.75 each when they launch on 28th January. On the very same day, a second Fighters Pass containing six new fighters (yes, really), will also be released.
That's a lot of Smash news for one day! Looking forward to checking all of this out for yourself?

I have to admit. It actually looks like Cuphead is in Smash with the finger gun and aesthetics. Definitely looking forward to this most out of the pack.
Love the Cuphead costume. Like Sans, it essentially adds another playable character (at least aesthetically), since the Mii isn’t visible at all. I’m hoping they do more of those.
Huh, that's pretty cool.
admittedly, i hope if they add another good costume+music bundle it isn't another mii gunner costume
For me, Cuphead Mii costume along with Fighter's Pass 2 was the highlight of the presentation.
Like others, I like the ones that actually look lije the characters so Sans and Cuphead. At least there's that after the disappointing fighter reveal.
This'll be another case of people being happier to see a Mii Fighter Costume than the actual new fighter.
1000% buying the cuphead one. I'll Probably get the rabbids one too.
I'll grab the Cuphead one with Gold Points, I guess.
This has me wondering what Smash would be like in the Cuphead/30s' cartoon aesthetic.
Pretty pleased with Cuphead.
I like how Sans Mii Costume and Cuphead’s Mii Costume come with a bonus music track. It nice to see more songs being added in Smash Ultimate. Cuphead’s Mii Costume looks really cool. I’m definitely picking it up.
This was better than the actual fighter reveal.
Yea, this was the highlight for me. I'll probabaly grab cuphead.
First time the Mii costumes are more interesting and creative than the fighter reveal
A sad day indeed .....
Pleased to see Altair myself, I'll be getting that one.
Why is there no Mii Fighters Pass?
I always liked the (Mega Man) X, Zero, & .EXE costumes.
Still hoping for DLC costumes that's for any of the playable fighters that aren't Miis. I cannot believe they're wasting that kind of potential.
Still, hoping they'll make a bundle available where you get all the Mii costumes together at a little bit of a discount.
@Zach777 For me it's the fact that it's another Fire Emblem swordsman. There is so much variety they could choose from and they seem to opt for the most boring ones. Besides, the fact that Fire Emblem has 8 characters now while Zelda only still has six, and has not received a new fighter since Brawl, feels kind of insulting and just all kinds of wrong.
It's kind of funny that Cuphead's whole concept is based on classic animation and he gets added as a 3D character
I would have preferred any of these characters (except mega man since we already have him) as the 5th fighter pass dlc character instead of another fire emblem hero...honestly, they should have made the fire emblem character a costume instead of another full character
@Yosher
It’s not a pissing contest though; Game characters aren’t even aware that they or their franchises are either over or under represented. It’s people (fans) who are making a big deal about it and you have an opportunity to help change the tide of people’s reactions by not letting it bother you.
Let the game makers make the game. You, the player/consumer, get to play and enjoy the game. You also get to decide if you want to buy it or not, including DLC. They said/say the characters are already chosen, they aren’t letting you know, they vocalized that all before they even released the pass.
Either put your money out there or don’t and stop squabbling about the results.
Wish we didn't have to buy all these individually but that's more an issue with the eshop
I'll honestly buy any Mii costume that adds new music
Assassins creed one is pretty dam special 😍
I find it funny how they didn't mention Assassin's Creed when they revealed the Altair costume... I guess they couldn't get the rights to the series, only the character?
Easily the best part of Fighter Pack 5.
Yep, I have pretty much zero hype over Byleth. If promotion is that important, then I guess Rillaboom is next. Here's hoping the next wave of DLC will have as few first-party characters as possible.
@Zach777 Look I'm still happy for Byleth/Fire Emblem fans. But that doesn't mean I can't personally disappointed by this choice. And if I'm disappointed I'll voice it out. If it were a character I was excited for I would have equally voiced my excitement for it. But alas, it didn't go that way.
I'm still waiting for Ivy's outfits from the Soulcalibur series. 😉
@Zach777 I don't mind Byleth being in, but should have been the bonus for FP2, not FP1-5.
Oh look Ubisoft remembers AC 1 after all...
Really wish they would remake 1 or port it. Anywhere (except stadia).
Cuphead but no Shovel knight costume???
Altair and cuphead!
Cuphead looks like his own character lol. Def get that one.
@thesilverbrick The Mii Fighters are only visible if you choose to create or download them. I was lost at first because I didn't see them on the Selection Screen. However, I made my fighter based on my own appearance and there it is! If you have one exact fighter than it shows all three in one icon. It then splits into Mii Gunner, Swordfighter, and Brawler. I'd suggest downloading as some fighters people create are genuine! I personally have the Wendy's and Caillou Mii Fighters courtesy of Its Shared Content Menu located in the Online area of the Main Menu.
@Reigestugatensho You misunderstood me. I meant that when a Mii is wearing the Sans or Cuphead costume, the Mii’s face is completely invisible, so aesthetically in battle, it’s as if Sans and Cuphead are playable characters and not Miis (despite having a Mii moveset). The other costumes reveal the Miis face, breaking that illusion.
@thesilverbrick ohh... whoops!
