"Metroid: Other M is sure to be shown off too, and you can probably count on it looking or playing slightly differently to account for the slight delay in its Western release. Don't discount Metroid Dread as well, the oft-rumoured Samus adventure that refuses to die."

Way more of this, please...

Re: Kapow! New Batman Trailer is Both Brave and Bold

This game is looking better and better. Let's hope it does the series justice...

@The+Fox: Yup, it's campy, but oh so awesome...

@warioswoods: The voice of Batman in BatB is Diedrich Bader, who (in my opinion) does a great job. Batman sounds gruff, but not lame gruff like Christian Bale in Dark Knight...

Re: Charles Martinet Shares Your Pain, Waluigi

A famous supporter to the cause, and he's Waluigi's voice actor! Charles Martinet, you rule. Try to use some (if any) of the influence you have with Nintendo to get a Waluigi platformer in production...

@edhe: No, if Waluigi is going to exist in a platformer it should just be Waluigi. Wario has his own series of platformers and that's where he belongs, we don't need him hogging the spotlight from his brother's potential adventure...

Re: Get Heard on the Nintendo Life Podcast!

I'd love it if Nintendo would announce that Other M's release date was being bumped up to at least July. Another thing that would floor me is the announcement that Metroid Dread does exist and it's a proper 2D Metroid that takes place after Metroid Fusion and will be either a launch title or close to it for the 3DS...

@Corbie: You spend some quality time playing the final version of Other M so you can bring back a detailed report for me, okay?

Man, Corbie, your review was definitely worth waiting for. Great job, man...

Sucks that I probably won't get to play this masterpiece for a while, though, but I'm glad it's getting the scores it deserves...

Re: Don't Worry, You May Get More 2D Metroids

Deviant_Mugen

@turtlelink: That's where the excerpt is from, yeah, in fact it even says so right before it "Speaking to Nintendo Power"...

I read the full feature in Nintendo Power and found it quite intriguing; curse the delay for making me wait longer...

Re: First Impressions: at Enter! Block Kuzushi

"this game allows players to tilt the paddle at up to a 30-degree angle left or right using the shoulder buttons rather than having some part of what is otherwise a flat plane cause the ball to bounce at a different angle [...] it also gives you more control over the direction of the ball since you can actually "push" it in the direction you want it to go; unlike most games of this type where you can easily bounce a ball around endlessly trying to hit that last brick."

I don't get how this is the first game in this genre—that I've heard of, anyway—to allow you to tilt the paddle. One of the most frustrating things about brick breaking games is having to jerk around for a few minutes because you can't get rid of that last damn brick!

Nice article, Sean...
