Re: Poll: What's The Best RPG Starring Mario?

Darkly

for the game it is, Paper Mario 64 is the best!
TTYD just perfects what 64 did.
Super just has some of the best characters and stories.
Sticker Star doesn't have much to do in it.
Color splash looks great, but it's very similar to Sticker Star.
Origami king was neat with the way it did things.

Superstar Saga is the first M&L game, it will always remain one of the greats.
Partners in time has a deep dark story like no other. It just makes it so good!
BIS just has so many great mechanics, as well as the comback story of Fawful.
Dream Team is really slow paced, but it is fun.
Paper Jam does really well for a mix between M&L and Paper Mario.
I haven't played much of the remakes, so I can't really rate them right now.

The Rabbids games were great for what they were. Sparks of hope is super good with the way it built of off the first game.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars was a great first RPG Mario game ever. I loved playing it.

Re: Reaction: What's Your Gut Feeling On The Zelda Movie News?

Darkly

I'm a bit excited.
I'm still waiting for more info before I really judge it.
The one thing from the Zelda series that would be perfect, is an anime or something for Link's Awakening. While that seems a bit far-fetched, it would still be something really epic to see.

Re: Super Mario RPG's Switch Release Gets A Five-Minute Overview Trailer

So there is a news article on this (and more) on the jp website.
https://topics.nintendo.co.jp/article/e8a3c53c-6513-4c88-9e93-617dee10a7c8
Some of the things that the article has that the video doesn't, is the ability to swap party members mid-battle. So basically Paper Mario, lol.
And it even mentions Culex saying that his battle theme is "still alive and well.".
Culex looks the exact same from the original apparently.
Since I don't know how to add images here, I'm just going to leave that to those who check out the site to see if I'm right or not.
Not much else is here, but one thing that caught my interest was the "Monster List". Tattle from Paper Mario has returned, lol.

All of it in the twitter post translates to:

THE COORDINATOR OF INDICATIVE CLASSIFICATION POLICY - SUBSTITUTE, within its

Attributions, in view of the provisions of Articles 21. item XVI, and 220, paragraph 3, item I, of the Federal Constitution: Article 74 of Law 8.069. of July 13, 1990, and based on Ordinance MJ No.

502. of November 23, 2021, decides to classify:

Intended Classification: Live

Some of this is a little confusing for me to read though. But it is interesting news none the less.

Re: Super Mario RPG For Switch Showcases Newly-Arranged And Original Soundtracks

Darkly

I already knew about about a day (or so) after the recent direct. The JP website for the game was released and gave us quite a bit of info such as an easier mode, and this exact feature. Go check it out if ya need to.
Also, I really like the OG songs, so depending on how much I like a certain song (whether it’s from the remake or OG), I’ll change the setting to fit my prefers ost.

Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Scores Another Round Of Previews Ahead Of Release

Darkly

Some people may think this is weird or dumb: I was thinking/planning on getting Mario wonder up until the announcement of the Paper Mario: TTYD remake.
We’re getting the two best RPG mario games as remakes (supposedly) within the next year! That does it, I don’t need Mario wonder.
But the game does seem really cool and neat, I might get it someday though.
