While Violet and Scarlett have been shown to run better on better hardware (apparently via emulator), I thought I heard it was the coding that poorly optimized it is the root issue.
I normally don't notice frame rate drops but yeah I noticed in this one. But the fun in the game makes it bearable when it happens. Doesn't always happen.
For me I preferred how BOTW/TOTK do things. Dungeon formula gets old. I am enjoying them in Echoes because of Echo's mechanics. Maybe they release two types of Zelda games now?
Ouch. The DreamCast mini hurt. I am first seeing the article for it from this list, so knowing the headline is April fools, and it still hurt as much as if I believed it to be real.
Technically TOTK is my favourite. So much is improved. But BOTW raised the bar like no other. So TOTK is my favourite with a "but." I guess it's true and the same as birth order. The first born is the wow newness to parents whereas the second born is better, , but not as wow as the first. Only child thinking here...
Definitely finished main story line(s) and caught all Pokemon. Still have some side quests and pokedex activities to do. My favourite Pokemon game ever. I normally don't have high expectations for sequels or the next generation games, but Z - A better not disappoint me...
I agree with non linear Zelda's, can't go back now. There is so much freedom with the new ones and variety. I have grown up with the old Zelda's, since the first Zelda, and I don't want to go back to its sequels' ways ( Zelda 1 was kinda open world already). Nowa days I found they dragged on and too restrictive. You had to conform to what the game wanted you to do. The BotW and TotK made the games much more open and engaging.
I probably won't get it. Seems great but too short. If rated it for how short I hear it is, it'd be a 2/10. But without time to beat being a factor, I'd guess I'd like it 8 or 9.
It is amazing. I gave a 9 because BOTW had that initial wow whereas TOTK has wow but not as much. Still lots of wow. I agree with above and 9.9. I guess I should have rounded up.
Happy to try expansion for the first year, but I am glad I am out. These games should have been out since the beginning of the GBA (should've since expansion started). These are practically the third version out. So I am staying out until more diverse games are out.
I really wanted to get this game but it just seems tooooooooooo broken as is and seems like it is getting more broken. Aren't things supposed to be fixed over time?
Loving every second of it. I love it as much as three houses but as different type of game. I don't get the hate for one or the other. They are just different styles of games (ish). Loved the Persona 5 esk from three house. But I love the streamline of Engage too. But I digress, Engage is awesome as long as you know what type of game you're getting into.
This makes me think that a good move for RPG franchises would to add variety to their music and customize which is music is played for what. The music is great but can get repetitive.
As for the mod, I get the ed Sheehan burn out but I am not there yet. I will be happy with it once I get the game.
I didn't buy it. I am holding out for performance patches. I am not buying a game I think is broken. If they get it to Arceus level of performance, I think it'd be worth it.
But this is what's frustrating. There are people who hate low frame rates and pop ins etc, they know this game is littered with them, they buy it anyway and then complain?!?!??! Doesn't matter what they say, you gave the money and that tells Nintendo broken games are good.
If you are ok with the low performance then to each their own, no one can others what is of value to them. But if you hate it and bought it, you buying it says you like the game as is.
I quit online last week. I had a good time trying it but don't need it for now. I will return but not getting expansion again. The library needs an "expansion" on games and systems to get me back. Hate how slow they release things too.
That looks about right for me. Most of them I never played. Just the hyrules, persona 5 s and empire. There is nothing like being one person and taking out hundreds of enemies at once. But I won't be playing too many because that can get old with this many games.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom?
Really fun, love the variety of solving different situations, and visual style is beautiful. Not as mind blowing as BOTW or TOTK, but super fun.

I hope, for once, this can be dlc. I am not paying full price for the same game again.
Re: Anniversary: Pokémon FireRed And LeafGreen Are 20 Years Old Today
Both original on NSO and remake would be cool, but that is probably pushing it a lot. Really anything Blue/Red/Green remade/released I will take.
Re: Feature: 25 Nintendo 64 Games We'd Love To See Added To The Switch Online Expansion Pack
I played Snowboard Kids 2 not 1. I remember hearing 2 is better. But yeah this list is correct. A lot of these I want to see too.

@Anti-Matter Totally agree. When I saw the DLC announcement, it felt like a slap to the face.
I didn't buy these games. Waiting to see about the next ones.
Re: Poll: Final Fantasy IV - Do You Prefer The Original Or The DS Remake?
Loved both but original style has the slight edge.
