what they could do is if the game detects an inappropriate name it replaces that name in only online modes to something like "Player 3847687" the number would be randomly generated or they add option in the game's settings called anonymous mode where all player names would be "Player" followed by the random numbers

tbh since the game supports Miis I expected inappropriate names people who had Mii with inappropriate names before Nintendo blacklisted the use of said names in the Mii creator would still have the inappropriate name and could still use it in any game that supports Miis I even have a few with inappropriate names haven't used them online tho but you can

@Rob3008 Chocobo GP is technically not even a free to play game just offers a Lite version that is free if Chocobo GP was free to play you would be able to play all modes in it but in the Lite version you don't
