We're always on the lookout for games that bear some resemblance to classic Super Monkey Ball titles, eager to recapture some of that nostalgic Gamecube magic.
Marble Maid, from publisher eastasiasoft, looks like it might just scratch that itch. Boasting more than 50 unique stages, the game sees you take on the role of a cute maid whose job is to bin off the dreaded 'Dust Bunnies'. You'll need to clear 3 in each stage before making your way to the exit.
As a bonus incentive, you'll be tasked with filling up a gallery with a bunch of "naughty" images, and you'll also face off against a deadly boss after every 10 stages.
Here's a list of features from eastasiasoft:
- Master more than 50 stages of puzzle ball adventure!
- Roll through tricky obstacles to chase down and eliminate dust bunnies.
- Explore a wide variety of room types, each with new challenges.
- Unlock images with each world you clear!
- Confront your rival Nega Maid in exciting boss battles.
- Discover secret levels by beating the main story!

I have this on Steam and it's DEFINITELY worth a pickup!
My god that text makes it look like a Flash game. I know not all devs have the money or time to create proper assets but it does cheapen the game quite a bit.
The transitions in the trailer made my head dizzy
I thought the video was another one of those peppa pig pornographic videos from youtube.,
I actually like these "physics based" games but this looks a little cheapy weepy. I think I have about 5 on the Switch already including the two Monkey Ball games (?)
naughty images to unlock oh boy ( ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ)
@nessisonett No kidding. Look at the state of that fire.
Super Monkey Ball? Perhaps, although there's enough top-down/isometric camera in the trailer to bring Marble Madness to mind as well. It's frankly the first thing I thought of back when watching the showcase.
Marble Madness, and Super Monkey Ball meet maids? Waifu fans are just eating up on the Switch!
You know what else is naughty about this game?
“Nega Maid.”
Why in the world do companies insist on doing this name? Is there an etymological meaning behind it or something?
I don't care when the ecchi element is integrated into the game, but this "play our crappy Steam Greenlight game and see poorly drawn softcore porn images!" thing will never fly with me.
Wait, how is having a maid instead of a monkey naughty? Or do they do the annoying thing of artificially inserting smut in a way which doesn't add to or affect the gameplay whatsoever but does make it impossible to find gameplay videos or hint forums or play the game in mixed company, therefore greatly reducing the usability of what might possibly have been a good game?
@FishyS it's eastasiasoft.
the point of many of their games isn't the game, the game is just a way to sell you naughty images.
The Super Monkey Ball killer right here.
@thedicemaster But we have the entire internet for that... and these drawings are like DeviantArt level bad...
The artstyle is goshawful and the second or third worst attempt I have seen in a game using "sexy" girls as a sellibg point. I don't find what I saw in the trailer sexy at all, but eh, might still check it out in the future I guess.
@thedicemaster Most of Eastasia's games are still fun.
Sometimes a game should just be censored as a whole to save us from even hearing about it...
@JakedaArbok Nega can be a prefix that means negative, and in Japanese it's a word that means negative. It has nothing to do etymologically with the n-word, as that comes all the way from the Latin word for black (which is "niger"), while the idea of negative comes from Latin "negativus" meaning "that which denies." The prefix "negat-" in that word essentially means "to deny."
@UsurperKing
Oh, cool! Thanks!
I retract my previous statement.
This game was actually delayed so at least the developer is trying to make it fun also the ecchi elements are limited to a art gallery. Also the dev has his own YouTube channel.
The 3D model of the maid looks unsettling, not cute. I would rather she kept her clothes on.
Also you can have fanservice without coming off as sleazy, look at Shantae.
I think I'll just stick to Super Monkey Ball.
I need a review of this game. It looks mechanically weak and the levels look devoid of any fun...but I want to be wrong. Hoping it's just a naff trailer.
"Super Monkey Ball, but with naughty maids" is the worst elevator pitch ever, and the trailer pretty much confirms it. Who is buying this? Monkey Ball fans have the actual SMB games, Paperball Deluxe and others that they can play, and naughty maid fans have thousands of naughtier and better-drawn alternatives. What's the draw for this?
0:38 seconds is the highlight of the video!! I said god damn!!!!
@nessisonett Beat me to it. I'll be sticking to Super Monkey Ball, this game looks like total BLEEP to be totally honest.
This is a fun albeit simple puzzle game, and yeah it kinda oversells itself with the lewd part which isn't really involved in any way during the main gameplay and is merely a reward gallery. Several of these puzzle/arcade adult games have made it to Switch lately, although most are actually more censored than their PC counterparts.
