Re: CoroCoro Magazine Reportedly Pegs The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Spring Release

Speaking as a hardcore Zelda fan myself, I just want them to release this game already. I've never really been one to complain about the hype dying before, and don't get me wrong, it hasn't for me. But dang Nintendo, you've shown us just about anything and everything we'd want to see from BotW at this point. All that's left for us fans now is to actually PLAY the game...

The only thing I'd like to see before the game's release is a more concrete lore focused trailer, then I'm good.

I dearly hope Nintendo holds on to the concept of StreetPass for at least the NX (or even more generations beyond that).

I live in a small town area. Around here you don't see people with a brightly lit neon light sign saying "hey I'm a Nintendo fan", so Street Pass has really become an essential experience for me when it comes to gaming on the go. I take my 3DS with me almost everywhere, even when I don't expect to get any hits. And even though I haven't met most of the people I've Street Passed in my town, it's a very reassuring feeling to know they're at least there.

Re: Talking Point: Splatoon May Be Winding Down, But Its Legacy Could Be Significant

With all these games lately that focus so heavily on online play and DLC add-ons, I have to wonder what people without the luxury of high speed (or general) internet feel about this. A game, even in its factory default stage should always have enough content to warrant the price paid for it.

Even though I love the heck out of Splatoon, I gotta say its release date version was severely lacking in content. The original version probably wasn't worth the $60 on its own. But thankfully the team knew what they were doing, and made up for it with all the updates.
