Re: Talking Point: Which Switch Game Needs A 'Nintendo Switch 2 Edition' The Most?

Captain_Qwark_B-Job

None at all! I highly doubt Nintendo will rerelease these games since Switch 2's backwards compatible with Switch 1 games and Nintendo really are nothing like Sony or Microsoft that makes their games as fancy as they can in terms of performance and graphics. All I care is seeing how the AI upscaling can improve sub-1080p/720p games and how they fair up on a 4K TV and see how better each game reaches their frame rate target. Frame rate boosts are only cherries on top for me, but not needed since I really don't care about graphics or frame rates.

Cool! I love Final Fantasy and always wanted to play that PS1 Chocobo Racing game. I am so happy there's a new one.

Off-topic: I hope that ESRB stuff with the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters are true because they are easy downloads for me as a Final Fantasy fan. Always gets me that Final Fantasy VII (I don't count the Legends games because they are localized versions of the Game Boy SaGa games in case you somehow don't know) is the earliest game in the series to be on newer consoles, yet the first 6 are only available on PC and mobile even though they are the games that started it all and especially the original. Online-only games I understand, but the first six not on newer consoles? Hell, characters from the first six Final Fantasies even appeared in World of Final Fantasy and the Dissidia games. I hope that's true and it also gets an Xbox release and maybe Switch and Xbox ports of Dissidia and a port of the XIII trilogy to PS4 and Switch (Positive that the Switch can handle them. Not too sure about Xbox because backwards compatibility) then we are on a roll.

Re: Wonder Boy Anniversary Collection To Get Switch eShop Release Next Year

Captain_Qwark_B-Job

@Sinton Honestly, I am not fond of these games getting physical only to be in a pricey version. I was happy when THQNordic release two double packs of Star Wars games one featuring Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast and Academy and the other with Republic Commando and Episode I: Racer for both Switch and PS4. Why should I buy Wonder Boy's pricey physical copy if I could just get the game on the eShop for way, way, way cheaper. At this point I just buy digital copies of games that are on physical, but made by Limited Run or other limited stock companies or are way more than I hoped. Other exception being if I found a game I want, but it's on for a killer deal and especially if it's a Special/Deluxe/GOTY/Anniversary/Complete Edition or if the game is digital-only.

Re: Atlus Shares More Details On Persona 3 And Persona 4 For Switch

@streetzman Also might I add that by the time the Switch online servers end, these games will likely be dumped online and people will download these for free on ROM sites or Archive.org. They won't be preserve officially, but it's still preservation. The Switch might reach Homebrew capabilities like other consoles like the Wii, Wii U, 3DS, PS3 and PSVita.

I have been looking forward to these. Easy downloads for me. But I wonder why people are hellbent on a physical version? Sure, it's cool to have a physical copy but that's not even a reasonable reason to force yourself to miss out. Plus most of the time if they do get physical, it's either from a limited release company like Limited Run games or you have to import it and both ways ask for too much for the same exact game only on a cartridge. Why should I buy these for $1,000 if I could get the same exact game on the eShop for like way cheaper? A route I recommend not going unless you are a diehard collector.

Re: GTA Trilogy's Physical Edition On Switch Appears To Require A Download

Captain_Qwark_B-Job

So many ungrateful people here. Can they just be grateful that GTA is finally on Switch even though Saints Row made it first? Think of this. Three classic open-world PS2/Xbox games remastered, has GTAV controls, no need to go back to mission start every time you lose and other stuff. Hopes this does well to get a GTA IV, Vice City Stories, Liberty City Stories, Chinatown Wars, GTA1, GTA2 and GTA London ports to modern consoles. As for GTA V, despite being released on PS3 and Xbox 360 first is unlikely due to the very huge map full of life and I'm pretty sure Rockstar would have to make GTAV Cloud-only cause of the details, map size and other stuff the Switch might suffer with GTAV.

Really don't give a rat's ass if the cartridge requires download or not as long as I get to play the game. Although I'm buying the PS4 version.

Re: Reminder: Sora And Version 13.0.0 Arrive In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Today

Captain_Qwark_B-Job

Yes! The final DLC is releasing soon! That means people will finally STFU about "leaks and rumors DLC" and let Sakurai rest! Seriously, those Waluigi "leaks" are just bogus and people being desperate to seek attention and annoy Sakurai over an Assist Trophy! If you are mad that Sora get in and not the character you wanted, guess what? You can't have everything you want! Though such thing never exists in Smash fans books because they always wanna bite more than they can chew, so stop begging and start Smashing!
