Re: What Nintendo games do you want to see on the Virtual Console?

BowtieShyGuy

Order like Importance:

Yoshi's Safari (SNES/ Wii Zapper support)
Wrecking Crew '98 (SNES/import)
Earthbound (SNES) (if America gives problems about the soundtrack, just release the US Import in Europe then )
Earthbound Zero (NES) (or Mother, but it would be hard without Japanese knowledge)
Hogan's Alley (NES/ Wii Zapper)

Popeye (VCA)
Excitebike: Bun Bun Mario Battle Stadium (SNES/Import)
Excitebike 64 (N64)
Pokémon Stadium 0-2 (N64)
Mario Party 1-3

Star Fox 2 (I know but still, I can want it can't I?)

Re: Review: Karate Phants: Gloves of Glory (WiiWare)

BowtieShyGuy

No, Hockey Star got also 1.

I know Otto and his Ottifants, a great german comedian, but I really can't see why he uses them on everything. Ottifantenpinball, Karate Phants etc. Looks to me as if those gaming companies knew their games were bad and asked Otto to allow them to use those Elephants to at least sell something to Otto fans. In fact they are just desktop-decó. You could have put stones in too.

At least they don't ask for full-price as they did with the GBA games

Re: What SEGA games do you want to see on the Virtual Console?

BowtieShyGuy

Those because I want them:

  • F-Zero AX (VCA) - wouldn't work because of Wii save limitations... or would it?
  • Sonic and Knuckles!
  • Knuckles Chaotix - Right now it's not possible but if it's somehow possible later on then it's worth mentioning.

Those because I would try them or liked their sequels:

  • Jet Set Radio (VCA) - don't know it yet, just from SSTennis
  • Outrun! (VCA)
  • Samba de Amigo (VCA)

Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)

BowtieShyGuy

I think 8/10 is just right. TP has a great story and graphics, but despite from the great cutscenes and their mimics, all the other games had far more character depths and the difficulty was too easy. I mean, why did they give us 5 Heart Pieces for one heart and then throw them technically away? This is the first Zelda I completed with all hearts. Also: Why are there keys? Room->chest with key-> next to it locked door.
I don't say TP is horrible, I just say it's generally overrated, and 8/10 is totally justified.

Plus: This game got not Oktoroks XD

Re: Shia LaBeouf Disses the Wii

BowtieShyGuy

Too less argumetation in his sayings. I he says he hates the Wii because of too much non-gamers or too bad graphics, okay. But throwing all Wii-owners (no, not only fanboys, not only gamers, but just owning one is a crime for him), makes him just another fundamentalistic fanboy, who made a big mistake, because many of his fans, who play Wii, won't buy the Transformers game anymore.

You should watch out what you're saying in public, especially with fanboys. Just ask John Lenon.

Re: Talking Point: Should Game Stories Be Regarded as Highly as Literature?

BowtieShyGuy

Many games have amazing stories that are as good or better than books, but in some cases you can't deliver the thrill of the game in a book. For example in BioShock: You know as much as the hero, and you control the hero. In fact you are exactly the hero, because everything he does is directed by you (or Atlas). In a book you would be a 3rd person, even if it is written like in "I went to the computer room".

Re: Reggie says "important" Wii titles coming

BowtieShyGuy

I don't believe in Kid Icarus. A Wii Zelda is more likely, however, I guess their top title will only be LoZ:ST.

Sorry if I sound pessimistic, but I don't expect too much from them on an E³, TGS is a better festival to expect Nintendo to release good Core games...

Re: Review: Kirby Super Star Ultra (DS)

BowtieShyGuy

I played this game single card and me and my friend had to share the DS screen of mine (although you need 2 DS). Does it work the same for multi-card?

Btw, what does this game take so long to realease in Europe?!!!!?

Re: Rejoice! The DSi Gets a Virtual Console After All

BowtieShyGuy

Hey, I just realized, that those news aren't listed at vc-reviews...

@Bass X0: There are two options:
1.) Make a wireless connectivity from DSi to Wii. MG GBC could have its own menue to transfer Characters, However, this would mean, that you'll have to this all the time at MG64.

and the easier option 2.) DSi uses SD cards, Wii uses SD cards. Logical conclusion: Insert a SD Card with a MG GBC save into a Wii and it will automatically load the characters to MG64 when inserted. This way however, has to be made fool proof, for people who have the desire to remove the SD Card while playing (but the same was with teh Transfer Pak).
