That's why I hate twitter - because everyone follows everyone so they can send each other direct messages etc, even if you don't care about the other person's updates.

I think I'm going to start a service called "Bitter" where you get to gripe and moan about everything in your life in 140 characters or less.

I'm sick of all these Twitter competitions that keep popping up all over the Internet. I missed out on a competition for the (yet-to-be-released) Zune HD because I needed to join the site hosting the contest and Twitter. No way I'm joining both that site and Twitter for that and this competition isn't going to change my mind. Can't we have a good, old-fashioned e-mail competition?

@Dazza: I don't mind twitter, but I just hate certain things about it, such as the way that most people on twitter (including myself ) just use it to show off their business and sites, and spam others, as well as how people have to follow someone to direct message them, even if they don't want to recieve updates etc. etc. Otherwise, I like it because of its simplicity.

I have now been to twitter and I still dont understand it at all. I just cant find sense to it! this contest is too hard, not only do I have to come up with a good joke, but have to figure out how Twitter works, and that has proven to be the ultimate challenge

I thought it was for the US govt. so they could do something during Obama's speeches, for CNN to get information about Iran, and for people to stalk other people without being thought badly by the person they are stalking ("please come follow me strangers!"). I guess Im clueless . By the way, I agree with Twighlight Crow.

Twitter is just the excuse so that CNN doesn't have to actually go out and report things anymore. They just let you do it while they get paid.

If you're using Twitter in a browser, just type @nintendolife in the box at the top and write your message, then click send. Easy!

Personally I use a program called twhirl, which works nicely. There's different ways of using Twitter but it's worth it!
