It's hard, especially if you play it without a Overworld Map (since there are no clues in which order to complete the dungeons), but not "Hell-how-should-I-complete-this?" hard. Zelda II -> Yes, but also beatable after getting the Life-Magic and Midoro Palace.
Just think of it: 250€, for just then 10€ more you could get an iPod Touch with 32 Gigs. Not that it would compare to a 3DS in gaming, but Apple is a bigger brand. And for even less money you could get an Xbox 360 with lots of big games already available. With only 180€ it is now far more argueable to buy one.
Why no Super Paper Mario or Punch-Out!? Especially SPM is really hard to get in Europe. I already bought them, but only 2 games for us, while the US got four? Not to mention 2 games every Wii Owner SHOULD aready have played?
The problem with Fans is, that they are not qualified but quantified opinions. I'd really like to see a Zelda with a Future or present day setting, or a HD Mario with a realistic art style, but many fans are just turned off by the idea. If Nintendo would ever like to risk such a step, they can only convince the mass if they don't show anything of it before they are 80% done. (And other than SONIC THE HEDGEHOG and Bomberman Act zero I think that those concepts could work if Nintendo is behind it).
I think the major problem with MML3 is that they didn't release the Prototype. Only die-hard fans registered, which is okay for the first steps in development. But I guess if they released the prototype with a link to the devroom, they would have had the chance to attract gamers which are totally new to the series to join the devroom.
I guess they still could be in, but I don't want to make it official yet. Maybe they change their minds around October and want to throw in different games? If they'd officially announce them now, they'd limit their moves.
I wouldn't be angry if they gave us 16 new and 16 bestof-old tracks in Mario Kart and then charge around 5€ for another retro pack (16 tracks, 20 on GBA and SNES).
But I guess the paid content is more like a move for third-party developers, so that they don't have to do any extra-programming for multi-consoleros.
Just give us those that already are on the Wii VC. Shouldn't be that hard to write a decent Emulator for 3DS that makes it possible to port the Wii NES VC to 3DS.
I doubt they'll release RPGs for the GBA Ambassadors.
Are you sure that you'll only be able to download ten selected NES Games? I mean, if Nintendo made an emulator for 3DS, they could also release the whole Wii NES VC Games at once.
Anyways, if I get Zelda I, II, Kid Icarus and Punch_out, then I'm happy.
I don't know why everyone fusses about the new Zelda. The OT Zelda is fine, but I think changes now and then shouldn't be a mess. It's not the same Link and Zelda in every game (should be clear since WW, was in the games since Zelda II), so why should they always look the same?
The new Zelda remembers me a bit of the ALttP Zelda.
Well, Lego, then it's time to actually make some new games. I miss the old days of Lego Island, Lego Racers, Lego Island 2, Lego racers 2, Lego Creator or Lego Chess. I really loved those games. But since Lego Star Wars they just redo it over and over, with other movies...
@Robogoose: I already saw those scenes ages ago on youtube. The BThreeie Tech demo wa snothing special. The only thing that was amzaing about it was the large amount of enemies hunting BK
At least a 6/10. The review does the childish looks unjustice. I thought the pop-up book look was really cool, but the pre-rendered graphics just don't fit in with the rest.
@L.Brown: There are only 2 Dungeons, and I think they were differing from each other a lot (gameplay wise. They are graphically identical, but hey, it's a DSiWare game...).
@portista: Don't judge a girl by her looks, especially if it's just clothes
@xnessx: you can get upt to 600 bonus coins... rupees... whatever it's called (isn't told in-game). You get 100 for owning it, 200 for beating it and another 300 for S-ranking verything. If you want to explore everything you're getting ruppes like hay, so you don't really need it. It's only useful if you want to speed run the game, with this you can buy the necessary magic, some magic jam upgrades and still complete it under 2 hours.
I have no problem with the fact that Dr. Chien or NL use it for T-Shirts they're going to sell or their web-site. That was kind of obvious.
But the "you agree to forfeit all rights to it including ownership" made me think twice about it. I would have interpreted that line, that my design is no longer within my copyrights. But if I'm still allowed to post it on my web-site or use and alter parts of it for another design (e.g. if I want to re-use a hammer I used as a small part for Dr. Chiens logo), then it's okay for me.
I thought about it for a second. But no real prize and I lose the copyrights for my design that I spent hours on to Dr. Chien and NL, even if I don't win? No thanks, not worth the effort.
What's the difference ebtween the versions? If they are totally equal I'd get the DSi Version as soon as it hits Europe, so I can play it while I'm on the train.
I don't see why all the people are all about "Sonic in 2D is the only way Sonic should be". Sure, everything after Sonic Adventure 2 was mediocre due to some unwise design decisions.
Maybe it's just because I played them first, but I prefer good 3D Episodes over the 2D ones. I even liked SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, if you can get over fatal bugs and long loading times. A 2D Sonic now and then is okay, but imo it's all the same. Running from A to B and sometimes you have to remember to jump. The 3D Games (before Unleashed) are more dynamical and offer some exploraion elements from time to time.
So I'd really like to see some 3D-Levels of classic Sonic Stages like in SA2, if they aren't overhashed
I'd really like to see a Prequel to Zero Mission. Something like the Metroid Manga in playable form, but more in context with the informations we got through Other M. I wouldn't care if it's totally different, but I want Samus past to be told officially

Just completed it yesterday XD

Re: How Do Bowser, Toad and Luigi Really Feel About Peach?
Lyrics were okay, but the Music was uncoordinated and distracting. Not going onto my playlist

It was importnat enough to be mentioned in the conclusion, so I guess it amy have affected the score.

Re: Talking Point: The GBA Games You Want on 3DS Virtual Console
Yeah, Starfy would be AWESOME, but it woul require translation and thererfore won't happen.
I'd be happy about any game I don't already have (which is hard, as I own nearly all Nintendo must-haves). Or Wario Land 4. Imo best GBA-Jump'n'Run
I don't think ALttP/FS would make it, since we already get FS or DSiWare in September

Re: From April to June, Nintendo Only Sold 700,000 3DS Consoles
That's because of the high price tag and the bad launch-titles.
Re: Points Burning a Hole in Your Pocket? Try Burn the Rope

Re: Nintendo Brings Star Fox 64 3D Forward to 9th September

Re: Surprise, SEGA Bringing High Definition Sonic to Wii U
An improved Sonic 2006. I really liked that game, but the bugs ruined it.
Re: Four Swords Freebie is the Game Boy Advance Version
I doubt it will feature any extras, as it's free. I guess Nintendo's plan is that anyone who owns a DSi/3DS has a multiplayer game up his sleeve.
Re: Your First Look at the Wii U Console
Looks as if the Wii married the 360, and that's their child.
...oh snap, someone already posted that...

Re: Review: Dragon's Lair Trilogy (Wii)

I it would be available in Europe, I would have bought it.

Re: Nintendo Download: 20th May 2011 (Europe)
Is it a coincidence, or is Nintendo reallly alternating WW and VC weeks again?
Re: Features: Re-Examining Zelda: Twilight Princess
"ncredible cinematics, a massive overworld, brain-bending dungeons and the biggest bosses the series has seen thus far."
I don't agree with the last two.

Re: No, You Cannot Fight as Samus in Dead or Alive: Dimensions
Well, maybe in DOA Xtreme 3D. Samus shouldn't be overpwoered anymore - without the Power Suit
Re: First Impressions: 3DS Virtual Console
Oh Man. If the 3D effext is that good I'm gonna throw a lotta money into the Virtual handheld. I'll at least rebuy the Zeldas.
Re: 3D Dino Fighting Detailed in Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D
They always had good graphics. But the gameplay just sucks. You beat a Dino by drawing lines? And it's really repetitive.
Re: Rayman 3D Rated by ESRB
Lemme guess: Rayman DS in 3D.
Or Rayman 3-D? If yes, I'd buy it. Prefer the 3rd over the 2nd
Re: Review: Mickey Mania (Super Nintendo)

Re: Sakamoto Wants to Know Your Metroid: Other M Thoughts

Re: Even More Virtual Console Titles on the Way
Spinmasters? Woohoo! That's the only arcade-game I remember playing in arcades!
Re: Metroid 64 Was This Close to Existing
I would have taken the chance if I were them. Even if they utterly failed, they would have been engraved into history.
