@twadebarcelona people dumping Twitter trash all over our clean NintendoLife site just lowers the standards here. I’m here for the games not the trash talk unrelated to the game.

@twadebarcelona Those reasons are external to the content of the game. People are free to criticise the game for content actually found within the game. Bringing in controversial Twitter drama to discuss here should not belong on NintendoLife.

@Untempered-Link Those comments have no relevancy here. NintendoLife has clearly asked everyone to talk only about the content of the actual game and not about what else is going on. NintendoLife is covering this game as it is new and also because it does not contain any controversial content within the game itself.

@nessisonett it was a 90s anime. There’s nothing bizarre about random nudity. Even some kids anime like Sailor Moon had nudity.

@Serpenterror The other companies are publishing their own collections. Plus they seem to be unable to do 3D games.

I’ve been enjoying this far more than Sword/Shield.

Wii U was a good console to me. It served me well. I would have welcomed a Wii U Slim and Wii U Portable upgrade for it, turning it into a Switch-like game pad that you could play away from the console.

Guess I’ll have to buy myself a larger sd card.

How do you think a DS game can be played on the Switch? The touchscreens aren’t the same.

There should be one game every single week. We get about the same but we wait for a few weeks then we get two or three on the same day.

You really think there won’t be ways of playing old games on the next Nintendo console?

Nintendo should focus on both the past and the future. They’re not some tiny newcomer who can’t do both simultaneously.

They should add some extra games for free, those that were originally updates of other games if you have paid for those other games. So Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha for free if you’ve already downloaded Street Fighter Alpha 2. Super Street Fighter II if you’ve already downloaded Super Street Fighter II Turbo.

If you want more than three or four newly added games every year then the expansion pack is worth it.

No. I certainly wouldn’t if they were available individually. That’s why I prefer the subscription pass method. I can try out the likes of Tennis and Pinball for ten minutes without feeling like I’ve wasted any money.

@Hajilee It would be much much more expensive if they were available individually. I get all the games on the service for £35 a year whereas the N64 games would cost £10 a game, the SNES and Genesis games would cost £8 each and NES games would cost £5.

It’s just not worth it for them to be available individually.

If it’s not going to follow the game it’s supposed to be based upon, why do it at all?

It’s only getting an anime because the games were popular enough to warrant one. If you want to do a new original story then don’t scam fans into thinking it’s going to be based on the games.

I want Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, 32X and Sega CD games added to NSO.

I think the next main fighting game or spin-off should be Capcom X Street Fighter with half the cast being from Street Fighter and the other half being from a variety of different Capcom games.

Or Capcom Fighting Evolution/Jam 2 which would be much better game than the original but would only have a maximum of four representatives from each franchise. Street Fighter as a whole would be represented by only four characters.

I’d rather play Wii U Wind Waker and Twilight Princess more than their GameCube originals. The HD graphics and quality of life improvements just trash the originals that backwards compatibility isn’t worth it in this case.

The tragedy was NintendoLife rating the Wiiware games 5/10 for being straight ports despite them being amazing games and incredibly enjoyable games. You didn’t need to use the optional motion controls if you didn’t want to but NintendoLife marked it down for simply including them.

I had avoided the original for years as I had never played the actual Borderlands games and had no interest. I had played The Walking Dead, Batman and A Wolf Among Us and enjoyed them. Then when Tales From The Borderlands went on sale this year, I downloaded it and quite enjoyed it. I’ll be looking into this new one.

Shin-Chan is the complete opposite of wholesome. He’s a very toxic and problematic character in his cartoon - even if the game doesn’t show it.

There should be Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Sega Game Gear, Sega Master System and TurboGrafx-16 support added to the standard pass. And Sega 32X, Sega CD, Turbo CD and Game Boy Advance support for the expansion pass.

There would be a guaranteed one game every week, excluding the special versions

@HammerGalladeBro America didn’t get Puyo Puyo so no need to release Kirby’s Avalanche in Japan because it’s just an Americanisation of Puyo Puyo.

And Kirby’s Star Stacker came out late in the Super Famicom’s life in 1997 that the Nintendo 64 had already been released so no point bringing it to America as it just wouldn’t have sold.

No. They would not. So they had to change the skin for the Super Nintendo version to feature a Nintendo owned character.

Fight Fever on the NeoGeo is the most blatant rip-off of Street Fighter II. Fighters History may be infamous of going to court for being similar to Street Fighter II but Fight Fever flew under the radar for doing so. Check out this image

@CharlieGirl Yeah, sure I get you want to play the quirky games just because they’re quirky - but going back to them now you’ll see they actually aren’t that enjoyable to play games despite them being quirky. Many just don’t hold up any more and several didn’t hold up as being enjoyable in the 90s either when they were new.
