Let's face it that is a pretty weak HOLIDAY lineup. When maybe the top release out of all of them is a collection of old albeit great games that a lot of the audience has already played you know things are a bit slow. That there isn't a blockbuster new release mentioned so far is a bit disappointing. I guess some would consider this new Hyrule Warrior game to fill that bill, for me it doesn't.
@TG16_IS_BAE That is exactly what I felt like, it was a button mash-a-thon. I am sure the games combat is much much deeper than that and I just didn't give it a chance. I like this BOTW story line so I may give this a shot and try to pay more attention to detail on how everything works. But I still feel it is probably just not the type of game I enjoy. I just love Zelda and we get so few games every console from that property and it kills me that I can't get into some of the ones that are available.
I didn't give Hyrule Warriors much of a chance. I just know that IMO the combat seemed repetitive. Taking on gigantic groups of enemies for me isn't a lot of fun. Again I didn't play all that long, I wish as you say there were some RPG elements involved but they will sell a lot of copies I'm sure.
I get it, he wasn't throwing a tantrum he just got frustrated. And he was polite in his explanation to the referees. I understand if you allow this to go what happens next time. How bad does someone need to be injured before you can enforce the rule again. I still say not a chance in hell Nadal or Federer so close to winning another grand slam get tossed. If a crowd was there they would go absolutely nuts losing the big draw with all the money they pay to sit and watch these matches. But I agree, Novak has a history so he doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt.
That was a terrible move by the Open, I know there is a rule in place but if that was Federer do they apply it in a US Open tournament where he is a few games away from winning his 21st slam? Maybe but I think Novak's reputation got the better of him in this instance and also because he isn't as well liked as Roger or Nadal. Imagine Nadal being thrown out of the French open because of this? Never happen.
As crazy as it sounds I still enjoy playing the SNES Super tennis game and play it every week on my Switch. Every game I play is against the hidden player who is much faster and hits the ball harder than any of the regular players in the game. I have yet to play a newer tennis game that is as much "FUN" (for me) as that tennis game. Yes it is miles behind these other tennis games when it comes to graphics, using the actual player names of the pros, different shot selections etc. BUT these games to me almost always make me feel like my player is very stiff. It is also hard to pinpoint where you want the serve to go or even your return volley. Every shot I hit with Super Tennis makes me feel like I am controlling where the ball is going. I will check this tennis game out as I love tennis but I find it hard to believe it will topple Super Tennis for me. And it will probably be 59.99 which is just nuts.
The reason to think it is probably real is that a few other people who are usually pretty accurate on everything Nintendo have also mentioned remakes of certain Mario games for the anniversary.
I had read that the sailing is a major pain in the neck due to the high winds and that you can't go back to using oars at all once you have sails. Is this true?
"Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being as this is a.44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?"
I did buy the Switch version and will be playing it soon. I hope the fixes since the initial release have fixed whatever performance issues the game shipped with.
Not a game developer but from what I see on this video this looks like something the Switch could handle, my guess is they got money from Microsoft and it will become a Switch title down the road.
The only thing I thought when I seen it was this is the first time I have ever seen an end-bosses genitals lol. Actually my first thought was that this is the last thing you see before you die in game...
Nothing stops you I see, good for you man. I have a solid laptop, really considering buying a great gaming laptop. Not sure I want to spend the 2000-2500 bucks it will cost.
They weren't officially announced but a lot of the top Nintendo gaming sites reported it...Maybe it won't happen but I am hopeful it will. In the reports they also mention the Paper Mario game that hadn't been announced and that has came true.
Yes if you are not worried about taking the game with you than it is way cheaper on the other consoles and better looking as well. No difference in content at all.
The game is fantastic, I already had beaten both games but I am playing again and then I can play the games I didn't play, Infinite and the DLC's for that game.
These months where everyone was stuck in their homes would have been the best time for Nintendo to release all of those Mario games they are supposed to release this year. I hope they won't use those games to bolster their holiday season offerings at the end of the year.
Technically they are majority owners of the Pokemon company, they own 33 percent and 2 other companies own 33 percent as well but Nintendo is a major investor of one of those other 2 companies. All of the Pokemon trademarks are owned exclusively by Nintendo, the name and logo. Everything.
Tyson hasn't been "troubled" in decades. He's actually celebrated pretty highly these days. Nintendo would not have a problem with Mike, they may have a problem with him making a Punch-out game but not with the man himself.
Some gamers are always looking for something to be angry about. I believe Marty Stratton's account of what happened and he did not bury Mick (which he easily could have)
Maybe I just was impatient but I played AO2 tennis the other day and I couldn't aim the ball for sh*t. It just didn't feel fun to me. Ridiculous...but you're obviously entitled to your opinion. Has an average Metacritic score of 80 (average of all the different versions on all the consoles and PC) The game was and is very well liked.
Can you believe that a huge portion of that games problems with AI was fixed in the past year due to someone realizing there was a typo in the games code? It still isn't a good game but it is light years better with the fix.

Not sure why it is but I just can't get into the Hyrule 1 vs 1000 game play. Maybe I am playing these games wrong.
