No wonder he's angry

Capcom has announced that the currently unavailable Wii U eShop version of Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara has once again been pushed back, with the title now being projected for a September release.

It was released in June for the PS3, Xbox 360 and on Steam. However, gamers waiting to experience the Beat 'em Up on the Wii U eShop have been consistently hit with unforeseen delays; back in June, Capcom senior vice-president Christian Svensson had the following to say regarding the delay:

I don't think we've received code approval from Nintendo just yet which is why we've been unable to confirm a date. It is definitely still coming so please do bear with us. The game is in submission. Stay tuned.

Following on from discussions on the Capcom Unity forums this month, Capcom Community Liaison Gregaman responded to fans queries regarding the ongoing absence of the title by stating:

We regret to inform you all that the release of the Wii U version of Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara has moved to September. There have been a number of development issues and despite our best efforts, the delay could not be avoided. We realize this is a frustrating situation for everyone out there but we ask for your continued patience and support. Updates will be provided as the situation develops.

So it seems that fans may have to wait a little longer to get their dose of side scrolling fantasy Beat 'em Up on the Wii U.

How disappointed are you by the prolonged delays? Are you still looking forward to playing the title on the Wii U, or have the delays led you to purchase the game elsewhere? Let us know your views.
