yeah, but really, there aren't that many games coming for Wii U. All announced games get a news. And all games that are ditching the Wii U also, because news are news. People should know what to expect. So why should NL stop these articles? To paint a brighter picture than it really is?

Legromancer commented on Talking Point: Nintendo's Wii U Lineup Makes C...:

i'm sorry, but this games won't sell consoles. That is the problem at the moment. Everyone who wants a Wii U for Nintendo games already has one.
With all this talk about ,,we here at Nintendo are all about innovation'' isn't it funny that there weren't any new concepts or ideas in this direct?
I am pretty sure Nintendo will loose the battle this Christmas. They already try to forget about the unique Gamepad. It baffles me that anybody can be okay with this Direct. There was nothing shown by Nintendo that is only possible on the Wii U and not on the Wii or 3DS (W101 is Platinum). Where they bankrupt of new ideas? And Retro is making a 2D Sidescroller. Their big secret project they were working on for the past 3 years. Which was pulled in the last minute before the press conference 2012. Because it wasn't ready...yeah. Don't believe this for a second. Why isn't there any of their Sci-Fi franchises? The whole lineup doesn't look really varied.
I'm sorry, but i am deeply dissappointed by Nintendo. I really like Platformers but this is overkill.

seriously, i don't think there will be a Metroid down the road. Nintendo needed to drop the bombs and judging by the reactions they didn't. It hurts me, no it realy does, and i know this makes me a fanboy...but i still feel this way...i have to get a PS4. It looks better, costs only 50 Euros more that a Deluxe Wii U and seems to hate a greater variety of games that look exiting. And there will be no drought. Nintendo didn't deliver for me. And this really makes me sick...I am deeply disappointed. And it was only 40 minutes. Oh man... they blew the whole first year. For me at least. Man, this is depressing and i hope Nintendo FINALLY pays attention. But seeing Reggies comments it doesn't seem so.

Retro is great at Sci-Fi, and i have the feeling a grand Space Opera from them is what Wii U needs right now. Really, Nintendo has so many great Sci-Fi themed franchises and it looks like we won't see any of them in 3 years.

great to see that Nintendo and Retro now that if the Wii U is lacking something it is 2D Sidescrollers.
Great job of delivering a variety of games.
If this was in the making for 3 years we won't see another game from Retro on the Wii U. Till them all talent has left Retro and formed other studios.
Don't get me wrong, i will buy it but man,,, that won't save the Wii U. Semething new and exiting for the western audience is needed. And please don't try to nitpick my comment about different tastes etc. Nintendo just keeps track with their course wich led to disappointing Wii U sales so far. And i don't see this changing this year.

and so you can also forget 2013. Great Nintendo. See you (maybe) in 2014. Oh boy. ZERO Innovation! From Nintendo! How can anybody be okay with this? 3rd Parties had nothing new to show and Nintendo can't fill the gaps by themselves. What were they doing since they stopped releasing games for the Wii? When was that? 2011?

Legromancer commented on Wii U Owners Shunned Again As Warner Refuses T...:

yeah, because there are so many exclusives to choose from...
If Wii U isn't ignored for multi plat releases it gets shunned.
Every day you read some other story that isn't exactly positive.
Wii U is just an industry joke. On many fronts. This is just one of them.

Besides, ignoring a problem probably got us here. Publishers think it's ok to give us the short stick.

seriously, can we get a feature article about this topic? Maybe try to get some response from publishers? Without media coverage this situation won't change.
False advertising is illegal. Let that be known that we are not ok with it.
They may not vare about our gaming preferences, love for Nintendo or whatever. But they care about possible lawsuites. Especially if it is so easy justified like with BLOPS 2 and Injustice. You just have to quote the backside of the box.

Legromancer commented on Wii U Owners Shunned Again As Warner Refuses T...:

at the moment i don't care if it's worth it (i think it will).
I care for not having the same options like PS3 and 360 owners even after paying the same amount of money for a game that states it features DLC and after the Nintendo Direct that mentioned this.
There is no excuse for this. Where did Nintendo get this false information they passed on us? From the developers? Or like the average joe, fromn the box?
However you spin it, i feel deceived.

Legromancer commented on Wii U Owners Shunned Again As Warner Refuses T...:

this is clearly false advertisement. The Box states there is a lobby system and DLC.
Isn't this illegal? Can i give the game back to Amazon because of this?
It seems that is the only way to give those companies the appropriate feedback.
Lie to us and feels the consequences.

Legromancer commented on EA Not Kicking Out Any Details On A FIFA 14 Re...:

no surprise if true. Most Wanted sold about 10 thousand copies in North America, and that was not a half bootied port.
Maybe this is the kick in the ... that Nintendo needs to get their doodoo together.
They announces the Wii U at E3 20..11. They had this fakey publisher reel were everybody was so exited...and in all this time they only managed to get 2 exclusives from them? ZombiU and Rayman Legends. Somehow i can't imagine Microsoft or Sony announcing a console with less than 3 exclusives.
What the heck went wrong?
And please, don't call me a troll again. Starting with the betrayalton of Ubisoft it gets worse and worse every week and now even every day. Maybe the times for a big shake up has come. Something has to change.

@GiftedGimp
yes, it looks like some people can't accept that the Wii U launch wasn't very great. There are not many great things about it. I am sorry, but it looks grim, and Iwata didn't change my mood about this. It just shows how much he is out of touch. It needs more than just say ''it will get better some day''.
It had a one year advantage from the other new consoles and that didn't help.
Nintendo had enough time to prepare for the HD age but it didn't.
We first heard about Wii U in what, 2011? Somebody remember this Developers reel they showed? Didn't turn out well, did it?

Legromancer commented on Nintendo Outlines Developer Support, and a Goa...:

@Koto
can you please explain why i am a troll?
You know, many people feel this way.
Why should 3rd parties start to develop for the Wii U? It doesn't sell well, there is almost no marketing for it, store sell it for a loss to get rid of it and exept WB and Ubisoft non multi platform titles get announced for Wii U. I don't see this trend changing. You know, it would be great to have some games to play between the Nintendo releases.
When was the last time we saw an announcement from a third party that isn't for the eshop?
So again, why am i a troll? I bought the Wii U, and almost a half year later it looks like it wasn't worth the money. It just bombed hard. That is the truth.

Sorry Iwata, but 3rd parties won't come. And like we saw first party titles aren't enough. This year is going to be dry.
Even IF some third parties are successful many will just focus on NextBox and PS4. That's what E3 will be like.
And i don't see how no marketing will help. Nintendo screwed bigtime.

ok, we have different information regarding this. Someone in the comments at gonintendo said in the JP version she talks about hair and Mibbleng here said the same, but bluesun just gave us a transcript of the JP version where she talks about breasts...
What is right?

still, one of the biggest and importent games this year is Bioshock Infinite.
And like Slapshot said that game takes some routes that many other studios/publishers would never take.
But it rightfully gets praise from not only every major gaming site but also from mainstream press.
And sadly Nintendo systems will not get the game. And that is a rap you will hear for years to come. Only Nintendo games won't cut it this time. It is okay for me, i have Steam, but it looks like Big N won't take headlines this gen like it hoped it will. It is kind of sad. Not that this is important, but...
Really, games like Bioshock Infinite are the future ( i believe) and show that games can be so much more than just shooting people with nice grafics.
You won't get this headlines from Nintendo this generation.
Just my 2 Cents.

ok, everyone:
THERE WAS NEVER SUCH A GERTMAN LAW! please stop this BS.
It is insulting that in this day and age it is still possible to distribute false fact in such a grand scale. I read this untrue statement everywhere in the internet.
Could you please check your facts? Or ist it not worth the time? Because...Germany, nobody cares. Right? Right?

BTW: It seems it won't be released in Germany. Reasons unknown. Maybe because Nintendo is the publisher ( is Nintendo the publisher in Europe?) and doesn't want to publish such games over here? That's my guess. Because, you know, the situation depending violent games is getting better over here in recent times.

Dudes, what*s going on? I really expected some ,,oh those Krazy Germanz'' Comments. And what do i see? Nothing. I am really impressed.

@Einherjar
it just won't be released in Germany, that's it.
Nothing illegal about importing. Nobody prevented this game from beeing released here. The PS3 and 360 Version (you know, the original versions) were released. Uncut.
If somebody is to blame then it's Nintendo/ or whoever is the publisher. Nothing to do with German laws.
And no, Germany is not the new Australia. We had an 18 rating since the start. In fact it's more and more likely that games will be officialy here. And in fact, all Censorship in games were made by the publisher independently IF they thought it would be necessery. There are no guidelines for what a game must have or shouldn't have to get a rating. The game as a whole is considered. So for example Spec Ops: The Line got an 18 rating without a problem because of the topic. It showed war as a cruel thing. So there wasn't a problem with this.
But hey, nobody will ever look up German laws, It's easy to say Germany is teh evil. So much more fun.
