@xInsomniax there was one for beyonetta 2 last month, but I miss the regular Nintendo Directs... I think part of the reason for not having one is because of Iwata's health problems. (I think he said something about that in the Japanese Nintendo Direct a little while ago)

@AENIGMA I think he is talking about a different problem than you mentioned, but I have the same hard drive and my Wii u has been freezing. I will give that a try, thanks!

@DiscoGentleman overall it is mainly the same, but there are some games that are only in Japan and there are a few games that are also missing from it. There are a few exclusive eShop titles, but I haven't looked into very many of them. Also there is Nintendo Game Seminar 2013 which has 4 free games which I found fairly fun. As for exclusive Wii U games, there is Yakuza 1&2(haven't tried yet, but there is a demo), Taiko no Tatsujin Wii U version and Puyopuyo Tetris.

Also most games are more expensive (partly due to the tax recently increasing to 10%), Fatal Frame V is about $88...

@DiscoGentleman I got one when I was there last year and I have enjoyed it quite a bit even though the only exclusive games I own are on the virtual console. It came with NSMBU and Wii Party U(don't own the NA version of this) and I also got MK8 for the promotion since some games weren't available for NA... I am also thinking of getting Fatal Frame, but I've never played the series before.

Also if you plan to buy the digital version, make sure you get the 32GB (unless you have a hard drive) which will also get you points towards nintendo network premium/digital deluxe. The game is around 14GB by the way.

I'm not really sure about that since there wouldn't be a whole lot of people getting a 3DS and especially Wii U from more than one region. (Although I do have a NA and Japanese version of each myself).

@3dcaleb oh, sorry. I had given it away to a friend last night. At least the demo will have 30 uses though. That should hopefully be enough until the full game comes out.

@darklinkinfinite ya the demo will have 30 uses. I believe it was said when the download codes were announced. Also the Japanese demo has 30 uses.

@SkywardLink98 the one being released now will have 30 uses, but I have one more left I can give to you if you want. I did offer it to a couple friends first though so it would depend on if they reply/want it by the time I get off work (6pm pacific)

I saw a picture that had another part attached to that which said something like release date subject to change so I wouldn't call it confirmed yet.

@BensonUii @luke88 same here, but I have a Japanese Wii U and the MK8 promotion for Japan allowed me to play 2 of 6 games for a month then get 40% off both if I buy it. 1 game I chose was W101 and I enjoyed it a lot. But I think it is still cheaper on my NA Wii U ($30-35?) compared to roughly ¥4200.

@Hy8ogen I guess so and it appears that the new 3ds won't come to the west until 2015 so I'm kind of fine with that now.

While I found boxing a bit difficult at first, I was able to get used to the controls and it wasn't too much of a problem. I do not like the single wii remote at all though.

Starfox is something I've been waiting for for awhile, but I guess since it has pretty much only been announced it isn't my top pick. Loved Zelda the most, but Smash Bros.(plus the tournament) and Splatoon are close second/thirds.

So far, the only Warriors game that I've played is Samurai Warriors 3, but I enjoyed it a lot so I will definitely buy this(plus it's Zelda!).

Dang, was hoping to see more GBA virtual console... Fire Emblem just came out on the Japanese Wii U and I've been waiting to play it again(the saving broke on my GBA cartridge...)

I would get game and wario or sonic lost world if it was for wii u, I own the games that are available for na(although wii play u is on my Japanese wii u) so I'll probably get an English version of it now. Wanted lost world for the Zelda dlc(downloaded, but I don't have the game yet).
