One of my favorite gaming rituals is picking up Animal Crossing every other month and immediately quitting after 5 minutes because I have a life I need to live.

Wario Land is one of Nintendo's most genius, dormant series. It absolutely deserves a new entry or remaster on Switch.

As much as this sucks it makes sense. Nintendo has been locking onto the February - September direct format for a few years now.

@Herna It depends on what your definition of niche is. Yes, some FE games have done really well, but compared to Mario, Zelda, Splatoon, Pokemon, not so much. That's not to say a million sales is bad, but compared to Nintendo's other AAA series ...

Makes sense. Fire Emblem is still fairly niche so most people who wanted it already bought it.

@Don The Wii U and 3DS were both designed around two screens. The Switch has one. As great as that would be, it's simply unrealistic.

I remember reassuring myself a year ago that the Wii U/3DS EShop wouldn't be closed for at least another 4 years. What a fool I was.

@ModdedInkling That's fair. But the switch has made Nintendo billions. And it seems that third parties are losing interest. In my opinion, Nintendo should ride the wave of popularity rather than wait it out like they did with the Wii. We all know how that turned out.

Take it from someone with 0 business experience. Nintendo should capitalize off this interest with a new console.

It will probably be hybrid. I would love to see Nintendo try asynchronous multiplayer with the next switch. It was heavily underutilized with the Wii U. Streetpass and actual menu music would be nice too.

@Serpenterror Tetris and Wii Sports were bundled in with the system and had at least some valuable single player content. Nintendo Switch Sports is the fourth in the series and the second Wii entry has more content than it does. Nintendo has made millions of dollars with the Switch. They can afford to add more content.

It's kind of shocking that Nintendo Switch Sports is still selling copies. That game relied solely on nostalgia and had almost nothing going for it. I guess that's just how this industry works.

I remember playing de Blob on Wii years ago.(Thanks for reminding me how old I am Nintendo Life) This DS version definitely looks a lot different than the original but it's still cool to see.

And the world will never be the same because of it.

I know everyone is going to be mad about dexit, but honestly 1008 Pokemon in one game would be an utter mess. Besides Pokemon should focus on getting their games to actually work first.

@novasoup As someone who likes to fill the pokedex. 1000 Pokemon in one game is my literal nightmare.

If we can get Pikmin 4 we can surely get Metroid Prime 4 too right? Right!? ... Please Nintendo.

We NEED a year of Toad. Paper Generic Toad, Dr. Toad, Toad's Mansion. The possibilities are endless.

Please Nintendo. We'd all buy it in an instant.
