Zelda II is a trash game. It isn’t because it’s hard, it’s because it isn’t fun. If it was, there would be other Zeldas like it with lower difficulty. But there aren’t… ‘cause it sucks. How Zelda 2 isn’t FAR AND AWAY the front runner, with Zelda 1 following behind, I don’t know.
Anyone who played Tri Force Heroes with friends, or even solo, knows it has no place being in second.
I showed my mom the trailer for Pac-Man Museum+ (she loves Pac-Man, but has always had a very soft spot for Pac-In-Time, which has never been re-released) last Friday and she saw it, she said, “That’s so neat! I wish they would bring back Arkanoid, too.”
She probably means the original. though. I remember downloading Arkanoid Plus! on WiiWare and I don’t think she found it as fun as the one she played on NES.
Still super excited for this!
I also think Atari has Breakout: Recharged coming soon, which I imagine will be a lot like Arkanoid since all of the Recharged titles have added power-ups to the original games.
Why would someone who openly voices their dislike of Dr. Mario as a puzzle game be chosen to review a game in its series?
And who is the “we” who doesn’t find the gameplay of Dr. Mario fun or interesting? This site gave the two most recent console editions of the game 7/10s and the two most recent handheld editions 8/10s.
Some common sense and consistency on this site would be nice every once in a while.
Too late. I would’ve absolutely bought this if it would’ve launched last year, but instead they released a gimped collection that I paid $30 for. Not paying $60 for the exact same content plus some ancient arcade ports.
What a joke. I know the shipping delays aren’t Nintendo’s fault, but locking gameplay functionality behind a product they now can’t launch with the game sure was. I was gonna pick one up tomorrow solely for fast travel, but I’ll have the game finished by the time they actually arrive in store. Oh well, saves me $25.
I don’t see how the last con is a con. You’d rather a rhythm game score a player based on their taste in music rather than their abilty to keep the beat? I mean... c’mon. Your version of a “good job” is completely subjective while the one Fuser has gone with is something that can actually be measured.
@Nemesis666 I like how you turned it into a semantics debate after someone pointed out your error. Well done.
@Giancarlothomaz Metroid Prime 1 & 2 took less than two years each and 3 took a little over two years because they had to fine tune the motion controls. Retro has had nearly two years for 4 and still all we’ve seen is a tentative logo.
Who cares anymore? It’s now just Retro Studios in name working on it. They’ve had two years and we’ve seen nothing. They have three excellent blueprints and still can’t figure out what to do. This game is going to end up being a colossal disappointment. Hiring all this “talent” for a game that will sell 3 million tops and then Nintendo will forget the series exists for another decade.
I think I’d rather JUST have Prime Trilogy HD than getting whatever this ****show ends up being. Bad call, Nintendo. Should’ve never even mentioned it.
Guess I’ll be the first one to say I love it. Ordered it a few days ago from amazon, but it took a little longer to ship so I won’t have it for another two days. I love the color scheme and the size. I have big hands, but they’ve been conditioned with a Game Boy micro so this’ll be no problem.
I picked up half of the sets over the past week and then finally was able to get the Starter Course on Friday. I really like it. The sets are fun to build and LEGO Mario is adorable wnen you use him. I just need more room to make bigger levels. The Monty Mole playset is my favorite (and it was free!). It became more enjoyable once I separated the unique constructs of each play set and started putting them whereever I see fit.
I still need to get’s Bowser’s Castle, Toad’s Treasure Hunt, King Boo’s Haunted Yard, Boomer Bill Barage, and Thwomp Drop. I’ll definitely have all of it bought by the end of the month. And I can’t wait for the second wave. Hopefully we get Luigi, an underground play set, and Peach’s Castle.
I wish they would make Steel Diver available digitally. I’d love to get rid of my game card.
And how is this not news? If the article had been about Project X Zone or Tetris Axis and Tetris GB returning to the eShop, it wouldn’t be getting comments like this.
“Oh, it’s a game I don’t like, no one cares about this.”
Actually at 98 games. One of the 99 is the Pac-Man Vs. multiplayer app. But, Sonic Mania can still be #100 since Troll and I comes out Tuesday as well.

Re: Clockwork Aquario Just Nabbed A Guinness World Record From Duke Nukem Forever
Shouldn’t Clockwork Aquario be taking this record away from Metroid Dread now, not Duke Nukem Forever?
Re: Star Wars: Hunters Shows The Force In Flashy New Trailer
@Moistnado I don’t have an Android, so fortunately, I can’t play it. Also, I think you may have overlooked a word in my first comment. 😁

I seriously CANNOT WAIT to not play that.

Sonic Mania will be #36 for me.
